Being an owner of Amaze i must say that Honda Amaze makes good balance between comfort and safety so i will rank it in top 3 lineup as a Highway Car Update : Soft suspension is really a disadvantage for Amaze on highway for which you will feel less confident and rear passengers will get bouncy rides if you are enthusiastic driver other than that it's good

3 years back when I wanted to upgrade from Swift I had 2 choices Ford Aspire and Honda Amaze. Since I wanted the car for only highway use I was particular about Diesel variant. Ford Aspire was a shade better than Amaze since that was a slightly heavier car but I had to cancel the booking as because of a chips shortage then I would have had to wait longer. I opted for Amaze Diesel top variant and I am extremely happy with this choice as it offers everything one can hope for in a car on the highway. I just love driving my Amaze on the highway !

I went for Tigor over Amaze and I am glad that I took this decision. For my family of 4 this is the best car in segment - Built like a tank, noise levels have reduced in BS-6 phase 2, very stable. Happy to see it in top 2.
Same here. Also want to include one more important point that it is very torqy. Doing half clutch is very easy and moves with just release of clutch without throttle. I have tested it in hilly areas where it just climbs in first or second gear without throttle that too fully loaded...

I drove Honda Amaze diesel from inception days till 2022 and without any complaints. Those days even roads were not good as today. I had to replace it only for its life. I feel your analysis is very good and unbiased as I drove Punch and Altroz and loved them. No car analysts say about a major defect in Renault Kiger that is the driver seat belt. It has very dangerous lock n unlock system . Pl check.thank you very much for this lovely informative analysis.
Honda amaze owner from 2013.( First generation). The best car with respect to driving comfort, smoothness, and handling. Power is also good as 1.2 liter engine. Always happy With my decision of buying Amaze in 2013.(when Swift Dzire was on top in Market)

Baleno is good and stable for Highway if you drive under a speed of 120 km/hr. The engine is very smooth, reliable and responsive. Also you get good mileage. Stability wise Altroz is better in high speeds. Altroz feels stable and confident at 140 km speed. I own 2023 Baleno.
Have been a proud owner of Ritz VDI... Excellent.. Went to nexa to exchange with Ignis.. But Ignis was disappointment.. Did like looks and space... Ritz is much better in all aspects.. First time I am seeing your video. Overall you are doing a great job!! First point I like is that you have covered many cars and a quick summary for the same. Second point your criteria is perfect to select the top 3 cars for overall performance/value etc. I agree with your top 3 cars. I bought Punch before 11 months ago (run 15k) and it's great car & matching with your summary too. I choose punch because I wanted a safe car bcz before delivery i learned car in driving school, i wanted a compact SUV, highway car, perfect driver seat and value for money car. ☺️ I am very happy with my Tata Punch. Tata's engine gives full power or proper power once it runs few kms. With 5 members+ full luggage+ with on AC power lack is there in punch on highway. For sedan lovers Altroz, Amaz are good.
My choices include 1.Punch 2.Amage 3. Altroz I drove all 3 i feel Alroz Turbo a better one, but i wanted to have bigger ground clearance due to bad roads where i travel which is the only reason to drop AMAZE and Altroz. I didnt feel Exter as a stable as Punch bug it has all the best feature Plz also make a video on best automatic under 15laks. I am looking for an automatic with all points you have mentioned like Cruice control, min 4 stars, stability and I will add ground clearance its big issue in travelling especially in remote and bad areas. I am waiting for Mahendra Xuv300 facelift and see how its priced dont have many options with my criteria Breeza, Nexon and Xuv300 i dint like Venue. I absolutely love your channel and have been binging on your videos non stop. We've booked the tata punch last week, after watching your videos. Our primary car is the Nexon EV prime 2022 model. We're very happy with it, just did a Mumbai to Amritsar and back road trip! We had an old wagon r which we sold and now are looking for a second vehicle. Our top priority was safety so we weren't so confident with the exter. We didn't quite like the drive too, but that's just a personal preference and opinion. For our use, Punch fit the bill. We have more highway use. Drive conservatively between 80-90. So over all, we're looking forward to our new car, and your reviews helped us a lot ❤

Really agree with your choice. But I am still confused between No. 1 and No. 2. Which one should I buy? Second one’s top model is cheaper by 1.25 lakhs. But the engine of No. 1 is smoother. Confusion 😢
Honda amaze is the best car of my segment under 8 lakhs but for me i don't like sedan and i think punch is the best option for those who like suv officelly it's not compact suv and little feels slightly under power but doesn't matter for a drag race and those who like hatch back car they have many options to choose
Agree with your top 3. Tata cars are good and 3 of them can be tied at 2nd place. They are safest cars. Don't agree with your comments on Triber, which is the best family car, and 1 litre engine is good enough for highways. Earlier Premier Padmini and President cars were also 1100 cc cars and I had no problem with them on highways. I drive Maruti Alto on highways and have no problem reaching 120 kmph with 800 cc engine. I think road condition, car condition, new tyres and skilfull driver are important not only engine. Alto is not a safe car but 1 litre engine should be adequate in my opinion. Amaze with CVT will not come within Rs. 8 lakhs. So, our budget should be around 9 or 10 lakhs. I will keep Tata 3 cars, Amaze and Triber as top 3 cars.
Amaze performs well overall. In terms of reliability, I would say it's better than Tata cars. Tata cars feel solid if you want build quality and stability. But overall I would prefer engine refinement and decent build quality
Not agree with your thoughts about the new Baleno, 2022 edition has an improved safety rating plus stability also good. Superb engine, spacious, back seat comfort, easy to drive, good interior, resale value and super mileage.

None of the cars are coming in 8 lacks on Road, also ground clearance is also an important point. 1. Amaze Top Model (9.4L+), cruise control, tyre size, Auto play, music informant system will be missed in the lower model.(Ground clearance 172) 2. Altroz is also at a high price (9.4+)(GC 170) 3. Tagore is also the same on the road The price is also high.(GC 172) So at Price only punch is having low even not 8 lacks. Actually, I was confused between Amaze,Exter and Punch and mailed you as well. Recently, I took a punch Accomplished (8.5 L after discount) because of the SUV feel and the Ground Clearance.

Altroz is no. 1 due to DCA automatic which is better than CVT, also CNG is available in manual altroz, also diesel option is available which price near to amaze not having diesel option that includes Hyundai and Maruti👍
I am seeing first time but you deserve a like, I subscribed also. You have left 2 points-ground clearance and presence of automatic models. When you drive an automatic with cruise, driving is most pleasurable.
My personal opinion after driving several 2nd hand cars and my i20.. any 1.5l P engine car preferably diesel cars are best for driving in Highway, you can cruise at high speed easily without too much push/engine stress... I hate my i20 in highways since it is a 1.2p and have to use full acceleration to go for 115-120 but i had once indigo manza diesel which went 150 casually without any push... So if you are frequent highway user, go for 1.5L engine.. if you are a city user and occasional highway traveller, 1.2L engine is better.. 1 L is also fine, but engine load will be slightly high... I personally don't recommend turbo variant, it gives you the punch but for that you have maintain a lot, need to clean carbon a lot and mainly reduces engine life.

With Honda you will never go wrong. Its a good balance of Engine Refinement, Spacious, Long Term Relibility, Fuel Efficiency etc. Go for Honda Amaze eyes closed.

After driving Tigor and Amaze...i felt Tigor's gear shifting, clutching breaking are too easy and smooth. So, driving is much convenient and immersing. Amaze is great for cruise control and engine noise for a 2.5 lac more. Both cars I drove was top model. For me Tigor is no 1 for driving. But for return on sale amaze to be no 1 in this scenario.
Altroz is more premium and has more features and better stability than punch and tigor such as rear viper, ac vents and a few more. But after all its buyers choice.

me altroz ko tiago se replace krana cahta hu 3 cylinder engine dono me he hatchback he with good build quality and batter milage from altroz . and less price range , so i wll go with tiago .
I am using it, yesterday only I have done 700 km in a day. It's easy to cruise at 100-120 speed. For good average drive at 90 will give average of 24. For me one draw back is boot space.

I use Tiago. Gives a super stability n comfort on highways. Till now I had driven approx 60000 KM. I really enjoyed n feel safe with Tiago.

Minimum 180 mm ground clearance is important for Indian roads. Sedan is not safe every time because of some bad roads.

Our top priority was safety so we weren't so confident with the exter. We didn't quite like the drive too, but that's just a personal preference and opinion. For our use, Punch fit the bill. We have more highway use. Drive conservatively between 80-90. So over all, we're looking forward to our new car, and your reviews helped us a lot ❤

Honda amaze is the best car of my segment under 8 lakhs but for me i don't like sedan and i think punch is the best option for those who like suv officelly it's not compact suv and little feels slightly under power but doesn't matter for a drag race and those who like hatch back car they have many options to choose

Agree with your top 3. Tata cars are good and 3 of them can be tied at 2nd place. They are safest cars. Don't agree with your comments on Triber, which is the best family car, and 1 litre engine is good enough for highways. Earlier Premier Padmini and President cars were also 1100 cc cars and I had no problem with them on highways. I drive Maruti Alto on highways and have no problem reaching 120 kmph with 800 cc engine. I think road condition, car condition, new tyres and skilfull driver are important not only engine. Alto is not a safe car but 1 litre engine should be adequate in my opinion. Amaze with CVT will not come within Rs. 8 lakhs. So, our budget should be around 9 or 10 lakhs. I will keep Tata 3 cars, Amaze and Triber as top 3 cars.
Amaze performs well overall. In terms of reliability, I would say it's better than Tata cars. Tata cars feel solid if you want build quality and stability. But overall I would prefer engine refinement and decent build quality
Punch is good...i drive about 1400+km in 3 days with my friends.clutch is so smooth.one problem is its pickup.

Not agree with your thoughts about the new Baleno, 2022 edition has an improved safety rating plus stability also good. Superb engine, spacious, back seat comfort, easy to drive, good interior, resale value and super mileage.

Altroz is no. 1 due to DCA automatic which is better than CVT, also CNG is available in manual altroz, also diesel option is available which price near to amaze not having diesel option that includes Hyundai and Maruti👍

I am seeing first time but you deserve a like, I subscribed also. You have left 2 points-ground clearance and presence of automatic models. When you drive an automatic with cruise, driving is most pleasurable.

My personal opinion after driving several 2nd hand cars and my i20.. any 1.5l P engine car preferably diesel cars are best for driving in Highway, you can cruise at high speed easily without too much push/engine stress... I hate my i20 in highways since it is a 1.2p and have to use full acceleration to go for 115-120 but i had once indigo manza diesel which went 150 casually without any push...
So if you are frequent highway user, go for 1.5L engine..
if you are a city user and occasional highway traveller, 1.2L engine is better.. 1 L is also fine, but engine load will be slightly high...
I personally don't recommend turbo variant, it gives you the punch but for that you have maintain a lot, need to clean carbon a lot and mainly reduces engine life.

With Honda you will never go wrong. Its a good balance of Engine Refinement, Spacious, Long Term Relibility, Fuel Efficiency etc. Go for Honda Amaze eyes closed.

After driving Tigor and Amaze...i felt Tigor's gear shifting, clutching breaking are too easy and smooth. So, driving is much convenient and immersing. Amaze is great for cruise control and engine noise for a 2.5 lac more. Both cars I drove was top model. For me Tigor is no 1 for driving. But for return on sale amaze to be no 1 in this scenario.

Altroz is more premium and has more features and better stability than punch and tigor such as rear viper, ac vents and a few more. But after all its buyers choice.

Tigor is the best it is very torqy. Doing half clutch is very easy and moves with just release of clutch and without throttle. I have tested it in hilly areas where it just climbs in first or second gear without throttle that too fully loaded... feels like a diesel car.

I am using it, yesterday only I have done 700 km in a day. It's easy to cruise at 100-120 speed. For good average drive at 90 will give average of 24. For me one draw back is boot space.
