Both girls are great, but, Cindy went from 135 to 115 for this fight. Cindy is hands down the best of the best as far as American grapplers are concerned but to drop 20 pounds when you are already that small is what did her in. Fuji is great as well.

No one said bigger weight meant better skill. When you cut that much weight and you only weigh 140 or so to begin with, you start to cut into muscle, not just fat or water weight. All I'm saying.

No, the cage isn't better for strikers; in fact it greatly favors wrestlers and clinch-fighters as they're able to get leverage against the fence and in general restarts are much less frequent since limbs aren't able to exit the fighting area like in a ring. It isn't that going from a ring to a cage disrupts a single area of MMA, it changes ALL areas. You have to approach fighting differently and train for the cage. Japanese fighters like Okami who train properly have done just as well stateside

there is such a difference between fighting in the cage and fighting in the ring.. japanese fighters arent use to strikers but grapplers.. thats why alot of ring fighters who go to fight in the cage dont do so well.. the cage is designed for strikers.. the ring is designed for grapplers.. japan needs more strikers as america needs more grapplers..

Uh? Cindy cut like, 30 pounds to fight her. I don't think that had anything to do with muscles. Megumi should come up to Cindy's weight next time

Cindy has skill and fought well but Megumi is stronger and could have broken her arm. Muscle defeats height.

cage favors wrestlers and clinch fighters? because they get pinned against the cage?? the fact that when they restart they restart standing up?? hmm.. iono dude.. getting pinned against the cage is pretty damn bad for clinch fighters and wrestlers especially if they run into a cage?? yeah the opponent doesnt get away but still u really cant do anything with a cage in front of u.. sure u grab em but what can u do when u cant extend urself and they can just push themselves against the cage
