Clearly he must've also known about the unfortunate Food-apocalypse situation that occurred moments after to the Chew-And-Swallow Pavilion opening prior and-though sending his Thinkquanauts to essentially evacuate the city into their respective facility and/or others nearby, hopeful to keep his community/city and it's people safe from the Foodstorm onslaught here,along with potential search and rescue services effectively kept on standby mode (initially in the case of him using his Own Thinkquanauts as the potential Clean-up operation crew as well here, obviously)-and took action,even though still willingly intrigued by both the machine and the aforementioned Inventor of it in the process here,honestly... As you can see, the animators forgot that at the ending of the 1st movie, only half of the island were flooded with food but on the sequel, the entire island was flooded. How?

I heard/read a theory of that the first Movie's Respective end credits sequence was probably what Flint and Sam respectfully were thinking of when they eventually were gonna Rebuild the Town here, honestly-That,combined with the Second film's credits sequence here,also kinda makes sense as well-Since they'd eventually would've had a say on how the Island Town itself would get rebuilt and reinhabited by that time, assuming that the Sparkswood Gang and the Townsfolk had a say in the matter in its initial rebuild here, obviously.. What I'm saying is: Maybe when Swallow Falls was later rebuilt and reinhabited/re-established as New Swallow Falls later on in the Timeline here-Throwing out this Headcanon here, honestly-that The aforementioned Town and the Sparkswood Gang would've been Happily allowed to have a say in how their respective Town would be rebuilt here after the Clean Up operation finished/finalized here (Along with Flint having to eventually get Barry to essentially be his liaison to both the humans/Swallow Fallsians and the Foodimals themselves here-Especially in the case of them probably living in harmony with eachother, obviously-during all this here, apparently amidst He and Sam respectfully opening their respective Lab later on here as well, obviously...) in how their Newly rebuilt community would've probably looked and worked,since Shelbourne was pretty much nowhere to be found and their respective De facto leader of the Town definitely was on-board with it AND essentially LiveCorp under Chester V's own Next-of-Kin here,honestly... I'd assume that Chester wanted the ACTUAL Machine itself that made them rather than just using the Food-apocalypse leftovers respectfully-But I've also assumed/Headcanoned that they eventually DID use said Leftovers in the Food-Bars essentially,in the case of if Operations Find the Machine/Slice-and-Dice went south and/or in LiveCorp's other Company Branches and/or Subsidiaries in the case of Worse-case-scenario here, obviously; The fact that even any of LiveCorp's other Company Branches and Subsidiaries might've actually somehow,while storing them, might've been studying them while in the meantime if,again, Chester's initial REAL plans didn't overall work here honestly as a last resort here, obviously... I heard/read a theory of that the first Movie's Respective end credits sequence was probably what Flint and Sam respectfully were thinking of when they eventually were gonna Rebuild the Town here, honestly-That,combined with the Second film's credits sequence here,also kinda makes sense as well-Since they'd eventually would've had a say on how the Island Town itself would get rebuilt and reinhabited by that time, assuming that the Sparkswood Gang and the Townsfolk had a say in the matter in its initial rebuild here, obviously..
