This woman has an amazing range on her vocals...she has a sultry look and voice, I need to keep listening for more of her. Wish I wasn't late to the party on her music.
You should hear her live n see her in person.....she is on beautiful singing human autotune ;) soooo amazing !!!! hehe
The venues these artists perform at in my area are usually too small or too far away. And because of the nightlife in South Florida you end up hearing about them being here a little too late.
The autotune comment...there isn't anyone in the industry not using, there would be no music if we heard how bad they are

Samantha has spoken on auto tune she says she uses it as a sound effect rather than voice correction which is obviously true because Samantha Jade sing this live so amazingly she sounds so much better live really than on the studio recorded version
Indeed - Whenever you get the chance to see her live - you will never comment again about her ''needing' Autotune ...the one thing she doesn't do is Lipsinc and I am so proud of her for that :)
She has a long career if she chooses well written music to perform and not mindless pumped out crap.
Samantha has to promote her music in USA and she'll become an incredibly worldwide artist. Love her, she's not only a good singer but also a beautiful and sweet woman.
She's super popular here in Australia and she was a guest at the one direction concert I went to earlier this year!!
Alejandro Castro Nope. Her type of music just isn't suited for the tastes of the States. Unfortunately, we're inundated with hip-hop and rap these days. Pure pop/dance just has no place right now. Just ask Kylie Minogue or even Madonna.

s3r3nity17 Actually, as successful as Britney is, she's only had four total number one hits in the US, over a 16 year career. Two of them coming in 2008, I believe, from one album and her last one was 3 years ago. Her last album didnt' generate any true genuine hits and her sales weren't strong. Compare that to Rihanna who is not pure pop/dance and she's had 11 or 12 #1 hits in a much shorter amount of time.
She actually had a contract with an American company she is on the soundtrack for the movie Honey (Jessica Alba) she did something a little shady and thing's went bad. Also sing's Step up for the step up movie's..

This is the next Kylie Minogue in the making. Don't get me wrong, there's only ONE Kylie, but I think Sami will be HUGE. Well, bigger than she already is. I think she has the potential, the talent and the charisma to go international. -From an American fan of both Kylie & Samantha.
I would agree that Samantha is like another Kylie Minogue, just as Lady Gaga is another Madonna. But that's ok, there always going to be singers similar to the old ones. Plus I too love the music from both Sam and Kylie.
But I'm sad to say, I don't think Samantha Jade would be international famous. Trust me, I want her to be, Samantha has some great music to show the world. It just that most likely Australian singers,(Both Sam and Kylie are Australian born), never become famous compared to American singers.
Samantha Jade first tried to break into the American market, but she was unsuccessful, she had to win a talent show here in Australia just to resurrect her music career, and even Kylie Minogue barely became famous in the USA. Compare them to the fame of Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry etc, all American artists, and they barely receive a 10th of the fame.
cleversongokuh I agree with you 100%. It's SUCH a shame that amazing artists get relegated and underrated. Instead they're being traded for a lot of average mainstream artists. Don't get me wrong, I respect everyone's work. Whether it's because of their talent or because of the publicity machine behind them.
In the mean time, I enjoy having artists like Samantha and like Kylie, who aren't so known on this side of the (American) pond. They're like a very well kept secret. :D

I love how she chose the pretty clearly gay dancers, choosing the practically better gay dancers over hunky straight guys with an 8 count move set that would be "lusting after her".
