  • A short video showing a badly botched installation of the Schneider ION 9000 series meter, what was done wrong, how it appeared in Schneider EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert, and how it was left for the customer. (I had nothing to do with this install or setup)

There is 101 ways to miss wire a meter and only 1 way to wire a meter correctly. This was a great Video! Countless times we have seen this in PME and have had to explain to the customer what happened and fixed the issue!

True that! I wish I could do more videos on these subjects, but the non-disclosure agreements I had to sign with the corporations I do consulting work for prohibit even the remotest reference to the company, and this has my hands tied!

Hi Roger, I am apprecitive for your essential clarification. Would you mind if I ask question about that topic.
    1) Could you show in the next video optional modules (A4,A3,A2,A1) & (Q1,Q2). I mean number of points?
    Thank you in advance.

Why use flat head screws for the current circuit? I prefer screw nut which ensures the correct tightening and avoids the open circuit on the current transformer

Roger thaks for the video. Can you do a video about the PME and how to use it.

Yes, I will be doing several videos on PME in the near future. PME is a very powerful tool and thus also has a somewhat steep learning curve, so there will be several videos.

@@raltman57 Thanks for the video. Did you find out what the problem was? Was it wired incorrectly or was the issue with PME?
The view you showed from PME is from a Vista template diagram, typically these are linked from an inherited parent node, rarely would you have to link these graphics individually. Seems like the issue was either a calibration problem or wired incorrectly

@@jorgepena8508 Yes, they were wired wrong.
