I’ve been to Alton many times, I’m not too far from there. It has some crazy history. I was there once during quarantine when everything was closed (including the hotel) and we were up on the hill looking down at the hotel and it looked like shadows of people dancing in the upstairs windows, as if there was a wedding reception. We walked down there and there was nobody in there, no music and it was completely dark.
