I think liquid pride is actually a great way to describe why someone would get teary eyed on this song, as I'm just so proud of Diamond Tiara I can't really help it.
When I downloaded the MIDI with the MEGA app, and opened the file it just read the thumbnail I guess? There was no MIDI track, just the name of the song and MIDI version??? Anyway you can help? EDIT: there was just an image saying what it was, there was no video or whatever what was supposed to show up

Before this song, Diamond Tiara was seen as a run-of-the-mill spoiled rich (no pun intended) brat. After this song, she was seen as a filly internally crying out for help, yearning to be somepony else. The best part about it? She got her wish.
