I failed to mention in the video that if you change your keymap for a game, you need to save it to make it permanent. In the advanced menu, go to controls and choose "Manage remap files" and then "Save game remap file".
I didn't expect it myself, because on my Powkiddy RK2023 I can just put the directory on the SD card. But since there's no way of selecting the executable as default, I think it might be the solution there too! Have to... fix that one first though. 😅
7:25 thats wrong....go ingame into retroarch and turn of the onscreen-overlay , go to settings , video options and set fullscreen instead of core provided voila - u have the game in widescreen on your TSP!
That's usually R3 on handhelds.... but the TSP doesn't have that. So you would need to go into the Retroarch setup and assign one of the buttons you don't need for something else to it.

This is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for recommending it to me! 💚 I'll have to give some of this a try soon!
Excellent video. I love that you have your own take choosing to focus on DOS games. And it's so rare to see a retro RUclipsr using a superior OS ;)
Thanks! 😄
Well I'm more like a generic computer stuff guy, and DOS is what I grew up with. 😉
Thank you That zipping trick was super useful I can now fix some other emulator devices I have.

@@ex-itguy Have you tried to get any of the ports on postmaster to run? I'm struggling with all of the descents and the fallouts.
Some work, a lot don't. It seems they're still working on it.
See this, these's a compatibility list; github.com/cizia64/CrossMix-OS/issues/8
@@ex-itguy Awesome thanks again im sure more games will get support the more popular this device gets.

Ah yes, I actually did that on mine after I made the video because I play a lot of Doom lately (just finished Plutonia). Thanks for adding this. :)
@@ex-itguy eze!
Glad you made this thumbnail yourself i dont think i would have made it better😂
This one doesn't seem to work that well though haha
How do you open onscreen keyboard? I have to press Y in some setup files in dos but without onscreen keyboard how do i do that?

Hi! Are those pcb traces broken of that button?
You mean of my old handheld? I don't think so. I think it was only soldered on the sides.
Nice
Thanks!
Ik ben een beetje laat maar leuke video! 😅
Blij dat je hem gevonden hebt! haha!
Dank je wel!
