It’s pretty annoying to hear Brou ramble on and on about how the Giants have no chance and are tomato can because of last years roster. The Giants are not some super imposing team by any means, but the giants offensive and defensive lines are much improved. The reason the cowboys have owned the giants last year was because the games were dominated in the trenches. The giants didn’t have Wandale or Malik last year either so the cowboys had nobody to worry about at receiver and they stacked the back and sat in a soft shell jumping everything underneath.I’m not saying the giants are going to win, I’m simply pointing out the Giants are a different team at least on paper and so far through 3 games this year than last, if the giants are able to run the ball behind the revamped oline, I think the game is at minimum a much close and tightly contested game that could go either way. I guess we’ll see tho.

The giants finally have a WR1. The giants offensive line is decent but compared to last year is elite. The Giants have 4 pass rushers who can get home instead of just two so double team options are out the window. They are worse in the secondary but that’s about it. The Giants beat the same browns team the cowboys did and so far this year have looked just as good if not better than Dallas. Again, I’m just saying the giants are much better team than given credit for and I think it’s mostly because they’ve been so bad for so many years in the trenches that people don’t even give us a chance.

I’m not a cowboy fan. I’m a Patriots fan. I’m expecting my team not to be great this season. However, if Dallas loses to the Giants Thursday, I feel bad for cowboy nation. It's funny how at the end, Nick explains why losing to a bad team is a bad look like it's something weird or unique to the cowboys.
The Giants lost to the Vikings (badly) and Washington, but they won against the Browns, and what are people saying about the Browns (fair or unfair)?
If the Cowboys give them a win it's a bad look, since the Giants "may only get 3 more wins in the rest of the season" (check their scheadule, they may really only get to 5 wins even if they are "sneaky good").
To be fair to Brou, he isnt saying they wont improve in his view. What he is saying is that if they smash them like they did last year, they will show they are (or can be) the same team, one that beats down on mediocre/bad teams. Reminder that means a 10+ win team. Right now, seeing the tone around them, that's a compliment.
The Giants aren't that bad. If they come out and run the ball down Dallas's throats they could make a game of it. Doesn't mean the Giants win by any means. But I would be shocked it it was 28-24 Dallas. I'd be shocked if it was like last year 40-0. Because the Giants are better.

I’ve been telling people Parsons is overrated. He’s a pass rush only player. He can’t defend the pass more than a few yards from the line of scrimmage and can’t stop the run. He is not an every down player. If they lay him more than Bosa then the Cowboys are cooked.
I'm the biggest cowboys homer out there, but even I will admit if the Cowboys can't beat the giants by 3 scores then the season is doomed.
