    I like the procedure to apply the first layer slurry, then 2nd layer is the spraying of fiber strand, rolled with rolling pin, then 3rd layer applied mix of slurry and fiber strand applied by hand laid. We used this technique to the factory I used to work . How did you avoid fast curing/drying? How do you control water temp?

    Hi, this is Gonzalo from Argentina.
    I want to ask you two questions:
    1) why when I spray vertical walls of the mould, face coat does not “stick” or is like it melt and fall down the mould on some “random” places.
    2) using a smaller size of sand, results in a softer and better finish or a soft surface ir a consequence to spray technique or other factors?

    Which size fiber is used?

      3/4 chopped. Cem-Fil 60

    What’s that tool you use to cut fibreglass strands?

      It is a concentric chopping gun. There are blades that rotate as the fiber feeds through cutting the strand.

    Good
