- Using a custom input reader, I color coated the buttons to match the frets and have it on my second monitor. Then, I have the Govee app reading the area where the inputs are shown. It gets the colors more accurately without any background noise from the highway or sparks and flames. I also, have a background ambient color I set to a very dark purple, so it isn't just pitch black when I'm not pressing buttons.. Let me know if you guys think this is better than my other set up with it reading directly off the highway.

If i don't have an ambient light, it turns off in between fret presses, this is what that looks like - • Input reader + lights
Is losing the blue star power light worth it? 🤔
Added a link in the description to the lights I'm using, for anyone interested
ok now this is epic
Dope
drugs is bad mkay?
god that's so cool man
Ty, I just found these lights at Walmart. Didnt expect to be able to do so much with them 😅 Highly recommend! I just got their cheap ones for like $60-$70
thats neat, it would be cool if you could make it so the lights turn into vibrant colors when you get to fast paced parts and light and relaxing colors when you get to slow parts
That would be sick, I feel like it's possible. Just need the right programs
@@SpecMyDec yeah I feel like it would give some vibe to ch and make it more lively
I'm going to make video showing how I do it currently, if you have any ideas on how to potentially make that work lmk for sure!
@@SpecMyDec well I am not really an expert when it comes to this but I just think it would be a good idea. It certainly has to do with the song charts or something
wtf thats crazy
