Are there any super weird phones you've seen that we need to try next? 🤓
For a great example of Modular-Phone-Done-Right - here's my CMF Phone 2 Pro video: ruclips.net/video/mz9eg7fR_qA/video.html
“Can your phone do this? I didn’t think so” 🤓
hey i love the vids
Bro what’s that emoji 💀
@Mrwhosetheboss hi, I’m a big fan!
@Motivative_Naruto Yes I love them
Hey Arun,
I'm genuinely honored that you'd feature the Minimal Phone on your channel. These are still the very early days for us, and having you showcase our first-generation product means a lot. Thank you so much for seeing the vision and sharing it with your audience!
This comment should get more engagement. Good job guys. Please take my money.
Wishing you the best with your future Minimal phone projects ❤️
Keep on keeping on. I wish I could afford one. It's the perfect phone for me, too perfect. Physical keyboard, minimal launcher, full Google Play support, e-Ink screen. Just. Perfect for my needs of just texting and writing and not much else. I assume the high price is because of economy of scale and R&D?
Nobody is answering this. What's the battery autonomy ? Because I would think of this more like an extra phone I'd take with me when in the wilderness, if like for other e-ink devices it can stay on for days.
I think you guys are on the right track
The main issue with minimal phones is that society expects you to have a smart phone - you need authenticator or banking apps just to do your job and function in the world. Having the full play store is such a game changer for stuff like that, avoiding the potential security risks or lack of functionality with side loading.
If this is a problem this means you never heard something of germany
Minimal phones are for children or adults with the mind of one.
@alatusedits What a stupid take
You can do online banking from a computer, but having computer access is about on par with having a smart phone in terms of accessibility... And I don't know if you can do authentication apps from one, either.
@alatusedits??? or for people who don’t want bloatware tf lol
Mom can I get a phone?
The phone that you get:
ching
Vid just started bru 😭
damn
@wilb0401 bing chilling
Lol
Phones focus so much on the camera quality, the mic quality, but sometimes I wish they were focused on the speaker quality too.
Now you have good quality ear bugs and speakers made by the same companies so there is no point in that
How often are you just listening at full volume to stuff without earbuds or headphones
@Top-TierSportsbasically everyday while playing games that I don't want to minimize to change music
@Top-TierSportsalways 😒💀😭
You can't. Speakers can't sound good with no air behind them. They can sound passable, sometimes, but if you want *good* - with bass and depth - you will not get it from anything flat and thin. Physics can't be cheated.
I had the LG Wing for over a year and my favorite thing about it was a position LG never advertised and you didn't get to try: Rotating the open phone 90 degrees so the big screen is in portrait like a regular phone and you get a small screen on whichever side you are not holding the phone on. RUclips on the tiny screen while regularly browsing the internet on the main screen with zero compromises was awesome
That sounds like the most genuinely useful way to use it; I almost always watch content via PIP on a phone, that's just the ultimate version of it.
I kinda really want that phone, I first heard of it when Linus almost ended up with it for the 30day challenge. But I have S25U, so it would be such a downgrade, that the screen is not worth it.
I really think the form factor has potential, more so than today's foldables actually (I disagree with Arun here). Flips are neat because they are compact but you don't really use them any differently. Folds would be the main competitor but I always felt like they are too big of a phone, too small of a tablet (to steal a quote from LTT). The Wing on the other hand feels like a better extension of the standard phone form factor.
It also worked great with third party launchers like Nova.
Yes! The LG wing was the best phone I ever had because of the multitasking! I miss it so much. Mine fell for the first time 2 years after I got it and the screen stopped working even though it had a screen protector
Little mention of the Lg G5's big advantage - changing out a battery quickly for a full one mid day after heavy use. The batteries were cheap and decent sized, but it helped a lot with charge anxiety. This was before the battery technology of today meant the batteries lasted the whole day. I loved the G5 and was sad I could never find another phone that had an easy swap-able battery. The add on accessories were kind of an after thought.
Swappable batteries. Oh how I miss those
I specifically stayed with LG phones for years solely for that reason, as not only were they still really great phones, but they were some of the last flagship phones with easier replaceable batteries.
Personally I like to have a waterproof phone over one that has a swappable battery @aisforannihilation1662
@RyoHazuki224 I still have my lg v20, and galaxy note 4. Both great phones
They had one of the best DAC's
the fact that the headphone jack is now a "feature" is so sad and pathetic. Like wooooow, you can use headphones with this thing just like 15 years go??? Wild!!
Something I don't like about minimalist phone, is that these phones sells less functionality for more money. I mean, I'm okay if it's priced around 200 usd, but 500?? I know that they use 'premium' parts to compensate for the less functionality they offered, but charging 500 usd for a phone that's 'minimalist'?? That alone is just outrageous.
You can get a cheap phone and customise it to be as minimalist as you possibly can
The problem is that volume of sales matter more than parts cost.
If the minimal phone sold 50 million a year, then they could sell it for 150 bucks. But if they only sell a few 100, 000s a year, then its hard to sell it for less than 400 bucks. You know, Economies of scale
Exactly
@Random_dud31100% economic ouroboros
It’s definitely expensive for what you get but considering R&D, economies of scale, and other external factors, I can kinda see why. This is part of the reason why smartphone market is so hard to enter and compete in.
Respect to LG for always trying out new things, yes it came at the expense of their profitability but they never stopped innovating. Some of their creations have been copied and are still being used today: 1) Ultrawide cameras; 2) Tap to wake; 3) Wide angle selfie cam; 4) Gesture-based instructions etc
Agree
I am still using my LG WING
I remember when I got an LG G3 and used tap to wake. One of the best quality of life features that has come out.
I'm still using LG V60 for its dual screen and I'm still using the LG Flex one and two 😊
I have the V50 still really damn fast since it used Snapdragon 855 way snappier than most mid range phone amazing Display at 1440p Headphones jack with DAC and the Dual Screen was really cool too I also love the clean glass back design with no bumper kinda sad when the left the phone market.
Had a G3 and it's still one of my most memorable phones 😅
Nobody:
The bots 30 seconds after a 20-minute video was posted: “This video made my day 💕”
I see that every 2 seconds bruh
btw this video *actually* made my day 💕
May will be an interesting month I guess.
@RavenRGH May may be an interesting month
How dare RUclips hid this form me for 56 minutes ....
😅
I bought the Z fold 2 back in 2021, and the entire phone was ruined after about a year because a tiny fragment of metal in my pocket stuck into the inside screen. That plastic screen just isn’t durable enough, and I just couldn’t justify spending that much on another one that is so vulnerable. The swivel phone, however, could offer most of the fun without the soft mushy screen.
1:39 po for pokemon
It got me too😂
Using the LG Wing as my primary phone since launch.. It's been like 4 years I think. And I don't regret even a tiny bit. This phone was ahead if it's time. The form factor, the smoothness, That extra bit screen. Everything together is a gr8 combination to use. The experience is is just perfect. Since 4 years there is not a single problem with the swivel mechanism. The phone is just perfect. 🔥
As someone who's been needing a new phone for a bit since my poor pixel 2xl is really struggling to keep any charge left, How well is the rest of it lasting? Battery still keeping good and does it have a well placed fingerprint censor. Because so far I've been holding out for the Fold 7 do get a nice big screen, but the wing looks like some deliciously ridiculous star trek bullshit and I adore the aesthetic a lot. If I got one I'd want it to be the sort of phone I can keep for a good long time because I hate buying new things since I'm cheap.
I'm actually really sad LG dropped out of the phone market because, while they were never going to beat out Samsung or Apple in the popularity stakes, when it came to actually having a bit of imagination they were leaps and bounds ahead of those two.
@RinIsArty I remember there is a Wings variant using snap 8 series- try to find it if you want them. Normal variant using 765 (or 730?) may more popular but it's a lot weaker. Though I change to a new phone already, I still have my V50 here and it works fine. Normal use ain't require much to maintain. Just don't push heavy-current task on them (5-6 years old chip already).
@RinIsArty It has been 4 years but battery is still going strong. I think it's still at 95% efficiency. I keep my charge cycles very precise. 30-85% always. I don't think battery will be a problem but as someone said, it will come to processor. If u r a normal user (non-gamer), then even this chipset will go a long way. Currently no issues as such with the performance. Just I think the camera clarity will be a thing after 2-3 years.
i am also using wing for 4 years, such an amazing product, out shines latest i phones in public....
This video was just a reminder of how much I wish LG didn't discontinue making phones. They were so innovative and ahead of their time. I loved my LG G8 Thin Q.
The lg g8 was overpriced and under sized. It had a ton of air gesture functions and lack of battery size was its downfall
The problem was that everyone would see a new LG phone and say "that's a cool idea. I wonder how that will develop?" but they wouldn't actually buy a phone.
LG kept losing money until they eventually gave up on phones.
I still use mine with the dual screen as as an extra phone now. The data receiver went but the phone still works like a tablet would
Loved my V60, used it for almost 4 years because I didn't know what to move onto
@iavagabond124 same! It is still valid in 2025 with its specs and as card slot and not to mention the dual screen. There was no lateral move when it’s time to upgrade, other phones always had a compromise. Biggest draw back is finding replacement oem batteries
As someone who has repaired both the Galaxy Folds and the LG Wing, I can tell you that the swivel holds up much better than the hinges to repeated use. The main downside of the Folds is that the screen is getting creased each time it's closed, which over time, will lead to a failure. Since the display doesn't bend on the Wing, it will last much longer without issues.
I was giving myself side eye with how much I keep my screen open, but apparently I'm doing myself a favor.
As someone who owned a galaxy fold I can say 2 things, the fold lost it's cool factor really quickly. And also the inside screen crease failure was so bad (at least for the fold 4) it failed on me like 2 months into use and then got dirt inside it which would have made the repair that more expensive, so I never repaired it and used the front display only, which on the fold 4 was more narrower than a normal phone and thus most apps were not optimized for it
wish pop up selfie cameras stayed for longer, i barely use the front camera so having it hidden and getting a huge display with no interruptions was awesome
It's fragile and unconventional. If you dropped your phone and hit a hard surface where the motorized mechanism is located, it's almost certain that it will break.
@enzoroderos5950its will automatic closed those pop-up, i use vivo s1 now, still function till now, its will automatic closed pop-up camera if detect any drop
I bought a Mi K20 Pro in 2019 and it is still being used in 2025. There is no issue with the motorized camera, but the battery and display have been replaced. The conclusion is that the motorized camera is not as fragile as it seems; if the phone slips from your hand, the camera retracts very quickly before hitting the ground.
Check out jerryrigeverything's review on the A80, id say motorized cameras are pretty durable for what they are
Still using my OP7 Pro after 6 years and no issue. It detects drops and pulls the camera back in automatically to help prevent fall damage.
I really miss LG in the mobile phone market :( The only ones after Nokia who had the balls to try new stuff. Exactly the opposite of what Apple and Samsung are at this moment.
People: ughh is all same same same same.
Also people when changes: eww
I feel this so much.
Samsung did that, too. But now, they're just copying everything that Apple does. I want LG back, Blackberry back and old Samsung.
Fr
Samsung arguably started the whole current gen foldable phones segment, what are you talking about?
Apple OTOH 😅
It just feels like, phone companies were playing truth or dare with their engineers😂
Am I the only one who is wondering how big his phone collection is??😂😅😊
Shelves.
I had an LG G5 and I absolutely loved it! I had an extra battery with a charging case and being able to go from 0-100% in 30 seconds was incredible. Also, the touch sensor being on the back where your index finger sits was a very nice feature. I really could not recommend that phone enough times!!
LG V 60. Dual screen. Quad DAC. Headphone jack. Removable storage. Pen Support..... A Beast of a phone. Still using it to this day
Yeah
LG should come back.
I am still using my LG WING.
I used my V60 for almost 4 years! I loved that phone and I just didn't know what to move onto. I still have the V60 but I moved on to OnePlus
I almost bought it if it weren't for the OS being locked down
Love the LG V series
19:37 First time Arun actually hits the cushioning
9:40 that phone is designed to be sitting on a surface while playing and using the surface as a speaker...
What
@FinlaySands what what?
@FinlaySandswhat what
Misleading advertising at its finest
Did he even turn on 2.1 channel
I like the modular phone idea.ä!
-But honestly all we need is a headphone jack, SD card slot, changeable battery.
-And then an easy to repair screen and parts that can break.
See everything he listed being bad about modular phones is wrong. Tech can be recycled, used for spare parts or handed down to kids, friends or family. Google killed the modular phone idea cause it's a bad business model, they can earn more selling full phones rather than parts.
and a home button with touch ID.
The LG G5 modular phone proved that a replaceable battery is perfectly possible. A lot of the modular options didn't really matter but a lot of people would like a modular battery.
I loved my G5. There were generations of flagship phones with easily replaceable batteries. I still don't get why they don't make em like that anymore.
@thinkbigize Simple answer. Money. They can get more money from charging for battery replacement, or better yet, you buying an entirely new phone instead. They make up some bullshit excuse that makes absolutely no difference to the consumer, like:
"Oh we removed the headphone jack to make the phone more slim"
In reality the phone is about 0,1mm thinner than a phone with a headphone jack. A difference that no one will ever notice while using it. It simply saved them some money while leaving you with one less option than before (BT+3,5mm > BT-3,5mm). And now they can charge you extra for their BT headphones on top of that!
LG was such an underrated phone company. They were the pioneers of some of the collest things on cellphones. I had the LG Velvet and it was one of the best camera phones I have owned.
I had the LG G5 And it was so underrated. It was lovely to carry an extra battery with me. And I believe it was the very 1st phone to have a wide angle camera, which was so cool.
Yes
The minimalism phone reminds me of the OG phones with internet capability from the early-mid 2000s. Just with a much better pixel situation.
Love my LG Wing. Beautiful notchless bezel-less display(both of them). Very functional in dual screen mode. Excellent camera setup with OIS. Motorised front camera was also brilliantly placed and designed. Swivel was very sturdy and never gave an impression that it would fail. LG should consider re entering the market, they had some of the most unique phones with personalities.
the LG Wing was my daily driver for a few years and I loved it. I liked having Google maps open on the main screen, with my music controls on the small one, while driving; it worked amazing flipped open and turned sideways for the best Google maps orientation. Unfortunately it succumbed to the (slightly) notorious "green screen of death" that LG Wings were apparently prone to.
I broke both of mine and I'm so sad about it. 😭
I could very easily replace the screen for you if you were anywhere near the Houston area. You should consider doing so yourself though. Or sell the broken device to someone who would be interested in fixing it. Just a thought.
@huntertoro1672 I haven't had the phone in 3 or 4 years. I just bought the Pixel 9a, which is almost a perfect phone for me.
the LG wing is the ultimate ADHD phone
subway surfers one one screen, a podcast on another
Why would you need an extra screen for podcasts? Or do you mean the video type?
More like clash of clans in the big screens and clash royale in the small screen 😂
I am still using my LG WING
Isn't it interesting that phones have been the exact same size for the past 5 years and we could have those modules nowadays, even from 3rd party companies since all phones are on usb-c now
15:01, 2019, the last good year
Me with a 2019 phone
2020 actually the Note 20 ultra is about where they quit doing upgrades its the last of the latest greatest phones. There's some awesome Chinese phones out there but the best are on the Chinese market sadly.
6:43 imagine dropping your phone and all the components explode off like Lego and you end up losing your 8gb ram attachment
Use a case.
@darthjekyll3648I said imagine, dawg are we dedazz 💔
5:40 10 years ago it was common to change battery now its sold like something new and unique😂
I'd sign myself up for the minimalist phone, cause the lagginess makes it make me not get to use it more often while not missing out on the essentials of my notification and what not
18:18 DS emulation would be insane
It wouldn't work as nicely as you're imagining because you still need to put the buttons somewhere. If the bottom part is the bottom DS screen then you have touchscreen buttons on top of a touchscreen bottom screen which just conflicts. If you have the bottom screen on the top next to the top screen then if you need to use it as a touch screen its pretty far from your thumb.
@Stickyz What if it utilized the other way around? Like use the phone upside down. Wide screen is touch screen and controls, small screen is the top screen
02:00 - The slow, laggy UI and screen are a boon in a way for dopamine addicted folks. It immediately introduces friction, and that friction can help boost your willpower as well make the experience bad enough to actually step away from the thing that you are addicted to (insta, YT shorts etc.)
You're a fascinating fellow (in a positive way). I miss my Kindle days.
your a fascinating fellow (in a negative way)
@ski-mask-the-slump-god Aww. That's neat. Thank you!
@ski-mask-the-slump-godbanger 🔥
@ski-mask-the-slump-god I hope my end is my start
I hope that Jah see my heart
I know I'm God in my mind
But God is still who I call
All in all
06:02 He can't getting away with it. 😭
We need the stop him
what happens to a phone when you trhow it does somebody catch it or does it land on a pillow or you just throw it on the ground
1:08 why is kfc on ur suggested in insta, you in shenanigans with the chicken man 😂
11:51 Phone ❌
Doorbell Cam ✔️
18:11 👀💀
5:27 I remember that I had that and it came out. I wound up not getting any kind of module for it but that was because nobody really made any that were worth getting
The thumbnail looks like one of those "tall iPhone 5" memes from 2012, lol
If I phones were that large i would have bought one every year, Zflip on the other hand comes very close
1:33 I’m so cooked bro 😭🙏
i just realized it isnt an app, crying emoji 😮😮😮❤❤❤ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 🎉🎉🎉 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA twin towers vs toast, ME WHEN THE SKIBIDI AINT RIZZING UP,
Please wake up, if you see this message, you are in a coma.
rushed straight to the comments for this 💀
Same😂😂😂@mixedupcontrol
we all know what we were thinking
We are not cooked our brain is cooked😂
I have an idea for a video type. How about you choose a topic or item and then buy the most expensive the most cheap, the smallest, the biggest, the most futuristic and the oldest etc. For example, say you choose lighters (just something I thought of!) and then do that. This means you can also attract audiences who don’t even normally watch tech videos if you make a video about a topic they like! Love your videos by the way, keep it up!👍
That’s actually a really good video idea. I would 100% watch that.
13:56 did I just get rick rolled by a smartphone
Moto Z series completely nailed the modularity aspect and solved a ton of problems and cons of them perfectly. Sad to see it didn't got covered.
I came here to make this comment. I had a Moto Z3 with the projector, batter, video game controller, speaker, etc. It was awesome for its time!
@klwarhouse Ditto! I just dug up mine a few days ago trying to get some old photos out. It is a lot smaller than i remembered, compared to my s25 ultra. I remember vividly showing my Z3 to my dad, and watch his jaw dropped when i turned on the projector. We watched so many movies while camping on that phone. Good times.
@klwarhouse Unihertz sells their Tank phones with a built-in projector.
The projector used to do 720p res but then downgraded to 480p res on the latest phone model.
bro is mogging 3:39
9:53 I think you should have played an actual song, rather than that snake Jazz we just heard. “Never gonna give you up” maybe?
why?
They cant. Its gonna get copyright
To show off every part of the speaker like the bass too@jozefdoyle
@timeflies20 I think you’re new to this channel. Rock rolling is one thing MRWHOSETHEBOSS is highly known for.
Also, my point is, the music he chose to play to test the speaker doesn’t really have enough bass to actually test how it sounds.
@rayothefur
Thank you. That’s exactly my point.
love the modular idea but do see the issue of moving parts
He loves to Rick roll us all the time 😂😭
4:20 I own a oppo phone with a motorized selfie camera for about 5 years now... And the camera is still working like on day one!
8:00 I think you are missing the point with the modular phones. It allows a company to make phones with a unified core that the user can configure to their liking. I personally would eat up that camera handle adapter real quick! Going forward, does it really matter if a phone gets bigger in width? Or thickness? Nope. The battery replaceability alone would be worth it. And the Wing is awesome. You missed how it lets you hold the phone like it's in portrait mode, but shoot the video in Landscape. The video functions are wicked!
I would also add that his second point about e-waste is a little unfair. E-waste is gonna happen whether it's complete phones or parts. The goal should be to reduce it as much as possible and modular phones is one way of getting there. Why should consumers be told that they need a new phone just because the battery doesn't hold charge? A simple battery swap is the answer, and it's a sin that the phone companies started glueing the batteries in. They're all guilty of it, but Apple are the absolute worst when it comes to allowing repairing of their phones, to the point where replacement parts won't even work because of serial number matching shenanigans.
No doubt about it, Apple are going straight to Silicon Hell for their practices. Along with all the blackberrys, calculators and Talkie Toasters (tm).
@DaveMcC-cn1uk I KNOW!! WHY GLUE THE BATTERY IN PLACE???? My first few phones had a battery that just snapped in place under a pop off plastic cover!
I see people make comments like these, but still buy iPhones and Samsungs
I think 95% of the advantage is battery replacementally. Remove that and most other stuff is just not great
@hip360hop You couldn't pay me enough money to own and use an iphone. A status symbol for the sheeple. And I don't use a samsung either. In saying that however, my battery is still bloody well glued in fs. I miss my old nokia where the battery could be removed in seconds. (Sometimes when I didn't want it popping out 🙂)
17:51 well I think that's where the new floating windows feature comes in where i can just watch your vids on youtube while playing a game except i can only get audio from only one of the activities on the screen which is cool btw
The lg wing would have made very good use of the snapdragon 8 elite because if we apply general knowledge to this, dual displays must need more power to continue running as smooth as one. That thing would work great for on screen controls in cloud gaming
6:14 we got the lego phone before gta 6
I actually like the concept of the Wing a LOT better than modern foldables
1: The ability to hold it like a vertical phone while using horizontal content AND multitasking
2: The deployment motion is MUCH easier, so easy that it can be done safely one-handed
3: The rotating design is likely easier to make water and dust resistant than a hinge
4: The screen not needing to flex makes the design simpler over all
5: No internal space wasted on semi-redundant displays
Just adding more screen real-estate has diminishing returns, for example, if you had a phone that, with no downsides, could expand to 40 cm, would it really be much more useful than the display sizes we have currently? (outside of certain edge cases of course) The fact that you can have an entire horizontal display with standard smartphone dimensions AND an additional display along side it seems much more useful than the arbitrarily large screens we see on modern book-style foldables
using Wing from last 4 years , amazing product & still out shines latest iphone in public
4:32 my xiaomi generally takes like 20 seconds of unnecessary break before opening my camera
I had the original Essential Phone, and it to this day is one of my favorite smartphones I've ever had. The UI was fantastic and had zero bloatware other companies like to add. The Ceramic back felt freaking amazing, and the titanium frame was an absolute beast. It makes me so sad to see the PH-2 and remember that company died.
Put lineage os on the essential pH 1. I did and have Android 15 and it flies. The only bad thing is the camera but I have it as a second phone and love it
@eddierubio2796 My Essential PH-1 is basically dead sadly. The screen is being held on by tape lol. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra so no reason to go with the old phone anymore.
Didn’t the PH-1 have a modular DAC that you connected to the back with magnets? I’ve considered getting one as a dedicated music player for that reason.
@iterativegrowth it had a camera 360 degree attachment. I don't remember a dac
@eddierubio2796yes it did have a DAC with the pogo pins. Still own my Ocean depths ph-1. I now have a Gem too
10:40 honestly the iphone 16 pro is already really loud imo. Probably way louder that some other phones.
Rickrolling on a tiny tv remote is crazy 😂
3:27 LG made it a thing 20 years ago on a flip phone. Part of the hinge was a rotating camera. I think I might still have mine somewhere
9:13 this phone is basically a speaker 😂😂😂😂
think the LG G5's swappable battery concept was ahead of its time-especially since most users, including myself, only made use of the battery modules, not the extra add-ons like the camera. That core idea is brilliant and could be reimagined for devices like the CMF 2. Picture a home station that charges spare batteries while one is in use, allowing for instant swaps-taking you from 0 to 100% in seconds instead of waiting to charge. The only real challenge left is figuring out how to maintain IPX water resistance with this system
Buy 2 battery cases for your phone
You can hot swap without even turning the phone off
Had the Lg v10 from 2016 until 10/2024 ,i have used a few batteries and the phone worked really good.Still works.
I had G5 and I had an external charger as well. I had 4 spare batteries. You needed them as 3 hours screen on was about the norm! A modern version would be amazing.
Actually have a g5 in my room just needs a battery never got around to buying one for it
This is just basically what removable batteries where tbh. Maybe not as quick but that wasn't as much of a problem
3:34 how is that better than the flipping Asus Zenfones? Those were mainstream. Loved selfies on them
what is that pokemon game you played on the first phone?
17:40 i think you just bought two phones glued together 😂
Still recovering from the pokemon haircut 😂
17:58 freaky arun
Ayo
😂
I had the original Essential Phone, and it really was a great phone. Had a few quirks, but nice screen, ceramic back, really premium feel and nice size to it. Almost edge to edge screen with titanium frame... Ahead of its time.
Really wish that they had survived, would have been interesting to see what they could have done.
10:14 that phone has alot of distortion if thats the word you were looking for
17:45 Subway Surfers and a movie running at the same time goes hard 🔥🔥💀💀
need another screen for memes😂
Hell yeah! Good for ADHD people.
14:40 that phone might actually be the minimalist phone we've all been looking for!
That might be it! Now there should be ways to convert the Xiaomi Qin 2 Ai as one...
The grand Asmr concert that you prepped for the Nubia and then the epic - absolutely killed me 😂😂😂
19:33 but the price difference is huge compared to foldable phones❤
17:53 The video playing on the second screen 😭💀💀
6:30 You don't have to throw your phone away when it gets older you just go to the oem service centres and pay them like low 2 figures usd to replace the battery.
Strange that you didn't have any of the Unihertz phones as they have a lot of ideas.
This guy's editing has gone to another level.
13:15 Imagine playing genshin like this on wider screen setup. 😊😊
On the Lg Wing, you also get the benefit of having every screen made of solid glass, while the Foldables are always really thin plastic on the inside
I feel bad now that I sold the LG Wing I had on Ebay. I spent all that time finding it to turn around and sell it.
Essential phone reminds me of the juke, it was a weird but kind of awesome phone at the same time
14:15 Ngl I think this phone would have been awesome to use
16:28 I totally agree, now u dont need 5 cameras, the work can be in just 2 or cameras and the pictures would me much better
He said exact opposite of what you're agreeing to. See the clip again. He's saying IN THE FAVOUR of the penta-lens concept.
@devasheeshsharma2519youre conflating the ideas of the number of cameras with how popular the concept will become

10:51 that was actually funny not even going to lie 😭😭
The Nokia reminds me of that weird camera that came out - was it the Lytro or something? - which allowed for post-shot refocussing because it had a series of lenses all shooting at the same time from a slightly different position. It's always been a fascinating concept, and the ability to truly have a "point and shoot" solution where you don't even have to worry about getting the focus right because you can fix it perfectly in post is a genuinely appealing one. If they managed to take that approach with a modern high-end mirrorless system, you could have the perfect wedding photographers' camera, for instance; removing the risk of being slightly off on a shot due to the generally dim light you get at weddings.
It also reminds me of the Light Camera which stitched together images captured by an array of 16 cameras. iirc Nokia's cameras were designed by Light too D:
the one hand phone is absolutely a game changer.
