Those Iris cases are a secret weapon for almost all my storage needs. I use one for just about each type of crafting , travel art case, storage that lays flat AND stands up vertical. I use it to dry anything wet and keep cats off it (glue, painted, glitter)
Thank you for showing you home away from home as well as your "traveling" craft supplies. It helped a lot. Enjoy your family vaca. Your girls are so sweet.😷
You are the first crafter I've stubbled upon in my search to see who's out there on the road crafting. Any kind of crafting in my opinion is a win. It's a healthy way to use your time making cool stuff.
I actually live in a tiny camper (6x10) and suffer with too much stuff and not enough space. I love your camper with all the lovely space you enjoy. I especially loved the Girls Club! When my girls were small we loved crafting together and now I craft with my granddaughters every chance I get. Have fun camping and crafting!
Thanks! We are having fun. It’s just nice to get away. I have found that it doesn’t matter how much space you have, you always have too much craft supply for it!!! I love that your daughters and granddaughters love to craft with you!
Yes, it’s nice to have a camper with plenty of storage so you can free up the living space. I don’t think I could handle living in it with 2 kids and 2 dogs, though. I don’t have enough patience for that!😆
I hope you have some exciting adventures! You might want to check out @project39minialbums here on RUclips. She lives in her 5th wheel full time and travels.
Thank you so much for showing us your camper and what you take. We just bought a camper this year and I took bags and bags of crafting supplies and had way too much and was overwhelmed. This is much simpler and doable. I've been getting ideas from others like stamp and prep everything at home and take stuff to complete projects so its fun and fast. I can't wait to get a special bin for camping and a tool tote. Thank you for the inspiration.
Congrats on your new camper! I hope you have some great times in it!! Something else you can do is make a checklist for your essential tools, just to make sure you have those every time.
Great planning! I love that you get a chance to get some crafting done while you're camping. Something I was thinking about while watching your video was having a second stash of supplies/ materials to keep in the camper. For example, keep a set of tools along with a project. Whenever you go camping, it's already there. Whatever you don't finish on one trip, you can work on it or finish on another. I do this when I craft with my girlfriends. We go to a friend's house and she let's us keep our things there so it's ready the next time we get together. We crop together once a month. So when I go there, I work on that project, and then at home I can work on other projects. Just a thought. Enjoy your week, and I'm looking forward to part 2 of your video.
Crafting is therapy, so everyone in my family knows I get cranky when I go to long without crafting! If we camped more often, I probably would have a 2nd set of tools. That would prevent me from having to always be packing and unpacking them.
I wish we went more often! Next year we are looking to set up at a seasonal camp site, where we can leave our camper from April through October. Then we should be able to go way more often. If that happens I will probably do as you suggest!😀
@@BourbonCreekCrafts, I hope that works out for you all! I love camping but my husband not so much. I used to go as a little girl all the time! Back then we had a pop up camper. Fun times for sure!
One of our girls and her family have a Cherokee with a similar floorplan. And one of their camping furbabies is also named Macy, same color and similar size as your Macy. 😊 Our granddog is just a little stockier, though. Your older daughter reminds me of our granddaughter. You have two sweet girls. Hope they enjoy camping, and crafting, too!
Great camper, and great seeing what you packed for your trip 🥰 you have a sweet and cozy family ❤ thanks for sharing with us and happy crafting Hugs xx
Love the camper tour! How ironic that I’m in my camper preparing and packing up to go on an assignment (traveling healthcare worker) and I saw this video! I’m a paper crafter and last year at home my husband helped me remove our dinette seats and table. We turned that area into my craft area with a modified office desk! So awesome!
Thanks! You should check out @project39minialbums. She lives, travels and crafts in her fifth wheel. She has several camper tour videos and talks about her storage and how she packs up after crafting.
very nice camper I have a camper I keep in a seasonal site have been at the same campground for 12 years now love to get away I have a dedicated cabinet in my bedroom over the desk where I keep craft supplies Enjoy your week tfs hugs
@@BourbonCreekCrafts We've traveled for the last 15 years. Getting ready to head to Florida to permanently sit for our senior years. We're in our 70S. Our daughters think we need to settle down
I don’t know if it was the excitement for crafting or their love of videos!😆 Whatever it was, it got them to clean up their space, though, so we may have to do it more often!!!!
Hello, I'm a new subscriber. I've been crafting for nearly two years now. Many dollars later I understand that simple is best. I don't need all the fancy tools after all. I like your style. Do your girls help you craft?
Yes, I like simple, too. I've decided to put a halt on craft spending except for adhesives, for awhile. And to use what I have. Many interesting backgrounds can be made with my embossing folders, stamps, and dies, using what I already have.
Loved the tour of your awesome camper and the helpful tips on packing for crafting on the go! I was laughing inside because it is snowing here in MN today! Tfs! Paige
Oh no, snow!!!! I’m not ready for that yet. We are camping in northern Indiana, just south of the Michigan border and it has been pretty chilly here. I’m glad we didn’t go further north!
Beth you are amazing. I recently relocated to our mountain house during the covid stuff and I really needed a first aid kid for crafting supplies LOL. I hauled everything but the kitchen sink from home. So now I have supplies in two houses and trying to make sure I don’t buy anything else. The one thing you have taught me is to use what I have and I am doing better with this. But it’s funny how you grab for something just by habit, whether trimmer or adhesives or whatever and when you realize you don’t have this or that then you really need to think what to substitute. I overpack for everything. Awesome camper. Enjoy your time away. 🎃

They are so great for all kinds of storage!

I think I pack the same way. I start by thinking about what I want to DO. I usually forget the circle punches though! 😁💙💙💙 Have fun!!
I’ve forgotten the punches enough times that I’ve hopefully learned my lesson!🤦🏼♀️
Very nice!! So well organized. It never ceases to a amaze me how spacious these RVs are!! TFS!❤️

Watching this because I’m moving my office and craft room to our toy hauler garage area for full-time.

Oh, that’s awesome that you have a dedicated craft space in your camper! The dinette area is a great spot for a desk!
Very cool video series! I can’t wait to see them all. We plan on getting an RV and I’m already worried about being able to do hobbies & storage

I live in a 36 ft 5th wheel. My craft supplies are mostly in my living room and my husband hates it! Too cluttered. But it works for me
I’m glad that you have made space to craft in your camper/home! Do you travel in your 5th wheel or is it permanently parked?

One of our dreams for when the hubby and I retire - buy an RV and travel!! Loved seeing how you pack.
That sounds like a great plan! Debbie at Project 39 Mini Albums here on RUclips did that this year!
Love this! Love that crafting is a family activity and your girls are so comfy with you vlogging. It is obvious they are proud of you.
Thank you! ☺️

Looks like fun. Hope you get some crafting time in. Where did you get your pink a boo paper pad?
I did get some much needed crafty time, thanks! The Pinkaboo pad came from Michaels last year.

Thank you for taking time out from your vacation to share this! It was nice to meet your family including the puppers! Happy crafting/camping 😊
Thanks! The girls were excited to get to be in another video.
Loved seeing all of you! My daughter out in Oregon has that same exact camper! Thanks for sharing how you pack for your little trip!
That’s funny that we have the same camper! It’s a nice camper and has plenty of room for all of us.
What Size is it??
It’s 35 feet.
