Hearing his singing again brings back good memories from my high school days. I love both of his vocal styles and as an African American whos always been into metal myself I have always related to Howard Jones.

Personally, for me it depends on the singers style but I havent always been a fan of bands who use two styles of singing except for like the black dahlia murder because I feel like some vocalists who use clean and screaming style singing usually suck at one and are very good at the other but imo Howard is phenomenal at both and well rounded. I could listen to him sing an entire song with clean vox or screaming vox wouldnt matter because he is really good.

For me its between him and Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust as my favorite metal/rock vocalists of the past 20 years.
He is the best at this genre, Russell Allen of Symphony X is another great singer of multiple styles

Listening over here South of the UK. Still glad Rock has it's place and still makes the greatest of songs. Even for today's standards...Sounding old-school which is the best type of music. Favourite song so far.

Last show I got to see b4 covid....2 days b4 they cancelled shows...is a priviledge to to hear HoJo and Light the Tourch anytime...but that night with Jesse and Killswitch .... that memory has carried me through...cant wait to see shows again...but that night will be in my and my daughter's memory forever...thanks Howard ,Light the tourch ..and the guys from Killswitch!
