So I have to make a whole new save game to install this update??
Hello Bigballa638, That is correct. If you want to have the new features that are in the latest update then you will have to start a new save in order to have access to them. I do not recommend installing the update if you have a save file currently as it could potentially break your current save. Hope you have a fantastic day and take care!

I can’t get the map to install
Hello, are you by chance playing on console? I’ve been having issues with installs on my Xbox. I may have a possible solution but need some information first. Hope you have a fantastic day and take care!

Ok. So a previous gen Xbox. By change when you go into the mod hub how much space is taken up. In the top right hand corner it should give you a percentage. If that percentage is over 80% then try clearing out some non essential mods/maps. I have to ensure that on my next gen that it is below 80 or else it will not install and it errors out. Hello Terry, Unfortunately based on what I have seen, I don't think we will. The baby animals is what caused the issue with the latest update and the map maker had to roll them back in order to make the map work again. I don't know if the map make is working on it in the background to try and get it to work but my guess is that we will not see them on Alma. Hope you have a fantastic day and take care!

Not a big fan of this update. Ruined the starting farm in my opinion. Can’t sell the water pump or chicken coop. Extended animals are gone, just the core animals now. Don’t like the ranch style gate on the starter farm. 99% of farms don’t have that. Pig farm the picket fence is to close to the gravel road. Was my favorite map, but not anymore.

@@bddgaming9838 I don’t know why he even updated it, it was perfect the way it was. It had that Midwest feel to it. I liked the original pole building too.
I hear you. I cannot say with certainty why the map make did the change but I think a lot of the driving force was the baby animals and changes needed to be made to accommodate. Unfortunately, baby animals fell apart and cannot be rolled out.
My update wont even load it just keeps updating
Hello Nicholas, Can you elaborate? Do you mean that on the modhub the file keeps trying to install and eventually it fails? If so, It has been my experience that if you are playing on console, I am on an Xbox Series X, try and uninstall mods that will get your storage capacity above 80%. It seems that when I am at or above 80% I have a very difficult time installing new mods as it wants to sit, get "laggy", and then finish "installing", just to go back to 0%. I hope this helps. @bddgaming9838 I already tried uninstalling it it gets too 100 then it goes back to zero and installs again and again and when I install it the file size goes up to only 76%
It sounds very similar to what is happening to me. If you have other maps installed try uninstalling them so you get below 80% disk space. Then install Alma. It should work then as long as your total disk space is less than 80%. Again that is my experiences and not science. Hope it helps!

Worst update ever imo. Starting farm is ruined.
In what sense? is it the chicken pen and water tower?
The loss of the pole barn in place of the maintenance shop, Brown fence over white fence, green house is still hideous. Just a few of my picks.

I didnt update my map, but I still lost the pole barn? Why did that happen? I had quite a long game going. I thought if u didn't update map you could still play the old save without breaking it???
