Massively underrated album. A sign of a great singer is that you come back to their songs time and time again.....Nik Kershaw,Kate Bush, Jeff Lynne, Annie Lennox.......All Genius singers and songwriters.

Pure genius. A superb track from my absolute favorite album of all time. Besides the outstanding tune, vocal and musicianship, the lyrics evoke so so much meaning - astonishing! In the same league as singer/songwriter greats like Paul Simon IMO.

Going through a very difficult patch at the time of release. Helped to pull me back up and I told him on person 10 years ago this month.😊
The word genius is over-used today, but Nik is one.

Nik, I feel there is a connection in art, between artist and audience that is so strong. It happens in literature when you feel deeply connected to a character and you care for him or her, it sometimes happens in movies too and it' so powerful when you get that feeling, they say it's called kama muta . For me it's really special when that happens through music, it is such an special art that moves you so deeply. I feel that you are a part of my life since I was 10, your music and your voice are part of me already, your music helped me through really difficult times while growing up and your music is helping me again: music gets so deep into your soul. Even if I don't listen to your music for a long time, you're like an old friend to come back to. I think you are a High Sensitive Person the same as I am, maybe that's what I feel and it's so hard to put in words. Besides, you are such a musical genius! I feel kind of proud of you, because you are my favorite artist! Thank you for this ♥️ P.S. I'm so looking forward to see you live as I've never been able to attend one of your shows, and btw here in RUclips I've seen they're amazing! Are you planning to come to Spain? To Madrid?
