Hana Beaman was the reigning queen of slopestyle in the 2000s and twenty years later, she is still winning snowboard contests on the world stage. Embraced as the only girl, by one of the rowdiest crews in snowboard history, she has been a prominent character in snowboard culture for longer than any other female snowboarder and has navigated the test of time with equal parts determination and grace. Her story started in California's Southern Sierras, at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, with heaps of encouragement from her parents and peers.
