Here (South Germany) my neighbor had put a rubber alligator into his fish pond ( for the frogs to sit on). What happened ? Some stupid mother got scared, the kids screamed out of control and mother called the cops. They appeared with 2 cars and immediately fired with a submachine gun towards the poor animal. Some fish died and the authorities had to pay compensation :-) Sarcastic newspaper report followed, the cops had to undergo a lesson at the local zoo to learn about crocodiles and discipline on usage of their guns.
