i wish people would break down decklists more often like you do, like seeing what matchups you were against and explanations that arent "this cards good hurrrrr" congrats on the win very cool profile
Ngl when I first saw your list I was not a fan. Mostly because I was familiarized with the standard list and ratios that most people are playing. But then I decided to give your list a shot and test with it and I really liked the consistency. I changed some ratios, mainly adding a second rakea and playing 6 unchained traps. Definitely a very innovative way of looking at the deck 👏
I just can't get behind Tour Guide. Playing through handtraps or losing die roll, normal Rakea is so much better. Even if you open just a trap and get Imperm'd, ending on rakea + trap is a million times better than passing on tourguide + trap.
thrust/talent into getting abominations prison or D/D/D = machinex pop into keep going aint bad though.. prosperity would also get you a sharvara to keep on going. i dont see a problem with tour guide, she baits really well.
one thing that annoys me as a newer player is when people say "one of that" or "two of this" because I haven't learned how to recognise all the cards in the game by the artwork to know what they are (not knocking the deck profile just a gripe I have with videos like it)
First of all congrats! and thanks god i dont understand peaple who still play the OG dog that is horrible, but i cant agree with some choices, Rakea is another starter for the deck since it can pop your traps and also helps you to play through ash on your traps, since you can just pop rakea with aruha or sharvana after that, also make a good balance between cards that pop and cards that get yours plays when popped. Tour guide is a good 1 card combo for the deck but also let the deck more fragile to cards that normally it wouldn't struggle with such as shifter/arise tour guide play really bad at those cards which normally the deck doesn't care much about banishing at all on the contrary the deck can also play shifter to help against those heavy combos. but yeah hope to see more unchained
With the same logic, Tour Guide is the same, yes imperm becomes better against you, but why invest two cards to lose to Ash when you invest only 1? You have to open a 3 card combo anyways to play through an Ash.
All things said as well, this deck inherently does not perform well versus Arise-Heart, you do minus extremely badly despite your effects triggering, we’re talking as if the engine beats Arise-Heart.
Congrats on the win! This your new main, or Kash still your top? Also when’s the next time you’re at core? I have a few questions I want to ask when it comes to deck building.
Nice list I personally don’t run tour guide cause it feels fragile normalying rakea or sarama sucks but Atleast u can always pop with sharvara or Aruha or by battle. GRATS THOUGH HAPPY TO SEE MY FAV DECK BEING PICKED UP
Also u mentioned an evenly problem u can end on rage wave king high Caesar and escape use escape pop rage and their evenly then on red chain Yama banish or get rage back for mp2
@@TranscendingarkPop THEIR EVENLY????? If you big combo them you can escape pop rage and a twin you have on field to dodge it, but if you don’t open well you get evenly’d pretty bad
@@PhyYuGiOh i usually don’t just cause popping a twin doesn’t get you anything usefull apart from another twin since the discard to pop one won’t work since they have nothing else on board. If you escape and pop rage and their evenly rage gets you follow up and Yama brings rage back so you only lose the trap since you’ll have a Caesar and rage which means four disruptions two from Caesar two from rage into unicorn etc. (I also didn’t quite understand what u meant by pop a twin I rarely leave a twin on board just to dodge super poly)
@@Transcendingark dont pop their evenly you want to hope to have a twin on field so you can pop the rage and the twin, and if its rakea use rakea to pop escape leaving only ceasar on board then you can revive
Draco Equiste is a Super Polymerization target for when your opponent has Baronne De Fleur and Bystial Dis Pater (or any other Dragon Synchro) on the field!
Sorry for the late reply, another updated list coming up soon, personally I think the Evil Twins are a really cool package, allowing you to draw into further follow up with the Ki-Sikil's and the likes, but you get very punished by Imperm because the actual maindeck monsters aren't fiends. It is a meta decision in my opinion, because those cards really increase the power of your deck for a small cost of 4 extra deck slots, and your deck kind of needs it. If hand traps ever become less popular, I'd play them for sure
Don't you need to use the current effect of any cards in a tournament? Offerings of the Doomed reads: "Target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy that target, also skip your next Draw Phase." So it targets and destroys.. Edit: The above is the current version of the card's text.
I actually considered siding a copy of Sangan to search Droll or Ash in a variety of matchups, however Fiendish Rhino Warrior is what makes tour guide a one-card combo
In this deck you have 3 1 card normal summons and 16 cards that are involved in a 2 card combo, which should be enough to get you there. I will not call the deck ultra-consistent or anything, but its combo is very resilient.
We at the unchained discord dislike this list. Running tour guide is very bad for a variety of reasons. Running 1 rakea kills consistency. Super poly is a worse lava golem most times. @@snoway3780rakea and sarama also lose to imperm veiler without sharvara in hand like tgu. The trade off is some grind for a one card starter. I was joking, of course the modern text reads like that. I would use the Neuron app if my opponent asked :D
How good was fiendish rhino warrior as a target for tour guide? Did you ever try Sangan instead?
