I got this game for my Birthday in April. I started it and got thru 3 levels. Very Tough!!! I stopped playing it , but now Im ready to go fourth once again . I remember when I played "Dark souls" I followed a walkthrough from "The Media cows". Very, very helpful. They too had commentary Games like this and DS can be very intimidating , even overwhelming. I hope you can help me conquer this one. Cause to tell you the truth , It was really hard to start a "New game" and delete my old save.Believe me , you will know what I mean when you...or I should say "we" get to the second boss.
Nioh is definitely a tough game to get into, but there are some very strong abilities you can get that will help immensely. If the videos aren't enough, let me know if you get stuck and I can give you extra tips since I've played the game a lot more now and learned new tricks.
Bought this game the day it came out & haven’t even played out. Yes, I know, sad. I need to get on top of that ASAP. Been playing God of War on & off. I love anything that involves Bushido or ninjas.
Ébe Isaac it’s pretty similar to sekiro which is also a fromsoft game, but comparing to dark souls it’s way more fast paced then dark souls tbh. You give out a lot of damage but take in a lot more too
Nioh is even faster than Bloodborne. Sekiro is unique and parrying in that game is a must, while in Nioh parrying is useless as enemies are lightning fast. Some bosses in Nioh are fucking tough. When you finish the game there are 3 exibition fights where you have to fight two bosses you beat AT ONCE. Those fights are abysmally hard. Haven't played the DLC yet but Jin Hayabusa and Maria look like pure nightmare fights. The problem is you have to beat the game twice in order to access the DLC, which SUCKS.
Thanks for the walkthrough, you did help me a little. After those 2 first armored dudes, I just ran past all of those enemies and... I tried for a few hours. This game is just too hard. Was hoping to at least past the first chapter sigh*...
Does this walkthrough include all DLCs added like the complete edition or remastered one? I’m new to PS and playing on a PS5 where I bought the remastered version. Fantastic start, mate. I'm going to play along with your walktrough and see how far I can get. Did you already have a good understanding of this title because you've played it before?
The way I do my walkthroughs in general is that I practice the section I'm about to play, find all the collectibles, etc, and then I record it. I learn more things as I go along and I'm usually in the dark as to where the story is going. Some people criticize the approach and want me to be a master right out of the gate to be a "proper walkthrough" but many others tend to watch me as more of a Let's Play and like to see me get better over time.

Totally agreed. I played all the SoulsBorne games, and platinumed Bloodborne, DS-Remastered, and about 80% to Platinum for DS-2 and DS-3 - so...a ton of Souls Time (oh and Demons's Souls too - beat it, years back, lol)... and Nioh tops them all in terms of overall challenge / lethality of the combat. I think it's because so many things hit you SO hard, all throughout the game. It's a rare enemy that you can take 4-5 hits from... and MANY of them can 2-shot you...with some bosses 1-shotting you, regularly (or nearly 1-shotting). It's also very challenging to learn everything the game has to offer, since it's extremely deep / complex - compared to any Souls Game. It's almost like Bloodborne meets Diablo, but without that Hit Point Regen When you Attack Back mechanic that Bloodborne has, automatically. So...things hit you harder than Bloodborne, on average, and you can't as easily instantly regen that lost HP - so combat tends to be pretty harsh / painful, if you do take hits. By the end game, you have a lot of options, of course - but the early to mid can be a real struggle.

Ahh... the fictinalsed Story of one of the very few non Japanese Samurai; William Adams. There is another one I know of: an african Samurai who received the Name "Yasuke". It is very very interesting to learn about non Japanese Samurai / Ninja who made it in Japan's medieval times :)
It's hilarious when u play this part in heavy armor cuz the video at the end has you falling into water and then swimming to the surface which would NEVER happen with full heavy armor on lol
Fightincowboy said the difference in encumberence, which the game show u in a percentage is this 70+ 50-70 30-50 And -30 As u go over each threshold ur dash is shortened, and minorly slowed as well as ur roll. However, obvi u can take more hits becuz u have better armor. Its based on playstyle. Like with heavy armor, u should probly use the heavy wep.
There's not two ranges of 50-70 and 30-50, it's 30-70 for B Rank Agility. I've never explicity tested it but I don't believe dash is shortened or you roll slower with lower agility ranks, it just affects your Ki consumption from my eyeball test.
The style of swordmanship occidental is very different at oriental, there many skills and tecniques that may learning in each sword, the weapons of medieval age in occidental are very brute, very big and heavy, and heavy armors, their style is destroy the enemy using force brute, but in oriental they using speed as counterattack.

Hey man, i bought the Season Pass And installed dlc 1 and 2 with no problems but dlc 3 wont download ¿Is because i need latest patch and also the game? thanks
Yeah, it's regular ps4. Some people say the pro makes a huge difference, others say it's not a big deal except on a few games optimized for it. I dunno, but I'm too broke to get it myself, lol.
All The Shinies Well the pro just has a beefier GPU to support the true 4k gaming. Both regular and pro still have the same jaguar amd CPU and both still have 8 gigs of GDDR ram. You literally just get a beefier GPU with the pro lol.
Just an FYI, you can ignore the first two knights. Their loot isn't worth it and will be picked up later in the level. No need to risk a death and start things all over.
Does he read through every single thing in every episode? I'm just trying to find a guide like this, but I can read on my own lol. The guide says walkthrough, but sounds more like a Lorethrough.
I love your content sir, quick question how do I use an xbox controller vs a Playstation controller I don't have the touch pad please advise? Anyone please let me Know...
Hmmm, I don't actually know. I did die on the level way back on my first attempt but I don't remember what happened. I want to say I just recovered my corpse and amrita like usual, but you don't have a guardian spirit yet so that would be a little odd.
This game is on the older side so not sure if I will get an answer, but from 26:30 to like 34:30 I think you/He comes across a few heavy enemies. I see you/him getting hit multiple time and I have gone through here a few times but when I get hit once by any of them I get staggered and cannot move no matter what and then the second hit kills me every time...I don't see what I'm doing different....If I could get hit a couple times, in the same way, I would be ok ...But the way it is now 1 hit from any heavy guy like that means death for me and I'm not sure why it's different for me .... If anyone could help Thank you in advance.
(I know this is an 8 month old comment, i just thought i might give you some insight about your question) yes actually, you can't pause the game by simply pressing the menu button on the Playstation; however that's not the case for the PC version of Nioh. Now I'm not entirely sure as to why they decided to keep this Implementation in their PC version of the game, (maybe because of the fact that you can minimize the game if you so choose to, I'm not sure, don't quote me on this) yes this can be looked down upon as a noob's tactic, though I don't see how, for sort of "cheesing" your way through the game's levels and not playing through them to the end of them. ( I never pay any mind to those kinds of asshole remarks, it's my game, my playthrough, and I can do whatever I want to do with my games, so long as they don't impede or affect anyone else's game; but seeing how this is a more PvE, single player game that shouldn't really matter all to much) In order to legit pause the game on PC (I use the PS4 controller to play, I don't think these types of games are all to designed well around trying to use M+KB. But for whatever reason, they only have the Xbox one's control scheme laid out on the screen, but the buttons still function the same as if you were playing it on the PS4) to legit, full on pause Nioh on the PC you press the menu button (the touchpad on the PS4 controller, idk what the xbox uses) then press the start button (options button on the PS4 controller) then you've successfully paused the game on PC.
The bastard swords do not use of this way, William use it like if was a katana (seem that he was programmed with the same moveset.) and the enemies use it like was one hand sword, in reality bastard sword is need using two hands or one hand and half in some rápid moves.

Thank you for the walkthrough. So all missions and all the items will be covered?
Yeah, it'll be all the missions and I try to get all the items. I'm sure I'll miss some items here and there but I'm usually pretty thorough.
Ok thank you.And thank you for answering.
@all the shinies is all the dlc included in this walkthrough?
Does this 100% walkthrough include the DLC content?
It's hilarious when u play this part in heavy armor cuz the video at the end has you falling into water and then swimming to the surface which would NEVER happen with full heavy armor on lol
Kind sir, your walkthroughs are awesome
Thanks!
Very cool! I wish I could play this but I don't have a console so I'll watch you instead :p. I hear there are a lot of secrets so look carefully!
Definitely a lot of secret and a very difficult game for sure.
Part 3 soon?
It's uploading now but it's really long. Probably won't be ready for like 5-6 hours.
Yay long video! Good enough for me!
Fightincowboy said the difference in encumberence, which the game show u in a percentage is this
70+
50-70
30-50
And -30
As u go over each threshold ur dash is shortened, and minorly slowed as well as ur roll.
Anyone here because he is dark souls veteran and wants something different
Hristo Makyov sucks Assssss they’re not making anymore dark souls games.
@@MohammadAliKhalil yup my favorite games was stopped 😭😭😭
The style of swordmanship occidental is very different at oriental, there many skills and tecniques that may learning in each sword, the weapons of medieval age in occidental are very brute, very big and heavy, and heavy armors, their style is destroy the enemy using force brute, but in oriental they using speed as counterattack.
Stabby lol. I remember I was playing black ops 2 end me and my friend kept getting killed by this one dude by knife only. At the end of the match we saw what his name was, Stabby lol
Is this clarity and FPS with the PS4 Pro or PS4?
Hey man, i bought the Season Pass
And installed dlc 1 and 2 with no problems but dlc 3 wont download
¿Is because i need latest patch and also the game? thanks
NIOH!! YOU ARE THE CHOOSEN ONE!
do u do the DLCs too in this guide?
This is on the regular ps4 yes? wondering if its best to get the Ps4 pro or just stick with the regular.
I had to wait and finish up RE7 but I'm watching now!
Is it the best weapon and armor that you can use ( the heroic raging bull ) that hurts the enemies most?
Great walkthrough. Keep up the great 👍 work
Thank you! :)
I'm guessing everything in the prologue is pointless because it doesn't let you keep what you find anyway?
Do you cover the dlc as well?
And also if you click options when your in a menus it will explain everything for you
Thx
Gg good looking out!
You should do a Bloodborne Walkthrough, great lore too.
You should gp for letsplaydarlsouls for that similiar style
That feeling when he calls my shark boi garbage
This guide includes all dlc too?
Just an FYI, you can ignore the first two knights. Their loot isn't worth it and will be picked up later in the level. No need to risk a death and start things all over.
he said that before he fought them..
does this guide cover dlc trophies aswell?
The 2 heavy guys are easy if you use light weapons
Good advice didn't know this!
How u get a light weapon early game tho
This was a year ago nvm
Nice Walkthrough!
Does he read through every single thing in every episode? I'm just trying to find a guide like this, but I can read on my own lol. The guide says walkthrough, but sounds more like a Lorethrough.
I don't why but seeing him hit by a bullet in the back seems funny to me.
ty for doing this
Oh my God!!! So much inventory management, get to it!!!
This game is the hardest fuckin game ive ever played in my entire life.
I love your content sir, quick question how do I use an xbox controller vs a Playstation controller I don't have the touch pad please advise? Anyone please let me Know...
i couldnt even take out the first guard at prison
That was me as well.you have to sneak into the room to your right when you escape the cell,to get your sword
I have not played this game yet I love samurai mythology games but I'm surprised that nobunaga oda is in the game
This video is soooooo helpful
Wow, that intro was a lot gorier than I was expecting.
They really shouldn't have given you plate armor before a scene where you're supposed to swim away lol
Picked this up from ps plus, liking it so far just cant get past those two big guards at the jail
Dude u dony need to get past en
U can just try to go through the stairs
Dont forget the boss
Npt that hard but get ready
And just watch theradbrad
Those initial choices are soooo Chad man TwT
Is this a platinum walkthrough?
Question: Do you lose amrita when dying at this level?
Hmmm, I don't actually know. I did die on the level way back on my first attempt but I don't remember what happened. I want to say I just recovered my corpse and amrita like usual, but you don't have a guardian spirit yet so that would be a little odd.
Thanks. One more question: Are there any other trophies that're earned on this level, other than A Long Journey Begins?
Nope, that's it.
Here we go bro. Anutha one :-)
Does it pause the game when you go into the menu screens or can you be attacked while searching through your items and whatnot?
The game doesn't pause in the menus, beware!
( I never pay any mind to those kinds of asshole remarks, it's my game, my playthrough, and I can do whatever I want to do with my games, so long as they don't impede or affect anyone else's game; but seeing how this is a more PvE, single player game that shouldn't really matter all to much)
In order to legit pause the game on PC (I use the PS4 controller to play, I don't think these types of games are all to designed well around trying to use M+KB.
Just got "Sekiro Shadows die twice" for my birthday ....any chance of you doing a Walkthrough for that game ?
if i follow this will i get the platinum?
PS Plus Gang
This gameplay is on PS4 or PS4 PRO??
Nioh is on PS4. I didn't get the PS4 Pro until recently.
GREAT WORK KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos, but the length is a bit long. I’d love for your videos to cap at 20mins. Record it an hour at a time and break it into 3. So much easier to digest!
Liked and subed.
Everything is so dark. I can't figure out where to go to. Help.
increase brightness
Oh man just started this game directly throw you to fight this is brutal lolz
even though I got good enough to completely wipe the floor with every enemy in Dark Souls 3, I gave up on this game because it is psychotically more difficult, at least for a relatively casual gamer like myself
Not bad not bad at all I might buy it and looks like another version of onimusha and I have every single game sadly they never finish the story
Given the name of the last ship left floating, does anyone else think this Irish pirate had something going on with his guardian spirit? Besides the obvious, I mean.
the thumbnail for this game is a white guy with blond hair? what in the world? the japanese need to be proud of their heritage more. a lot of people like and admire them.
Thanks man
