I just bought the pocket 3 creator como, I have been using Gopro cameras as well as my Nikon Z6ll and a gimbal, all with great results, but I really like the mics connecting to the pocket and the small size. I haven't used it yet.... and I agree it will be an addition to my gear since it does feel kinda fragile. I'm looking forward to see how the video looks and how well it works with my nature videos. Yeah, I thought about waiting for the Pocket 4.... but I think this is going to be what I need. Greg
My man Aldryn doing what he does best. I bought the Pocket 3 Creator Combo thanks to his awesome review on it.....and the Insta360 X3 lol. I have both in my bag with me at all times in case I wanna run and gun shoot something. I love the form factor and size of the Pocket 3 so much so that I don't really care around my DJI OM4 and I have not bought a new smartphone gimbal...yet
Good vid~ My Pocket 3's rotate display broken while I just using it only half a year or six months, although I rotating the display to switch on the Pocket 3 even very carefully and gently, this happened while I was just finished using mine to shoot some footages I just push the record button to switch off it, and after I turn the rotate display to its vertical place as usual, but suddenly it can't restored to its place, the rotate display stuck at a 45 degree angle, I just try so many times to put it back to the vertical up right but it still stuck at the tilt angle, I just though that "How bad luck I'm" ~ Everything I can do is sent it back to DJI for a inspection or repair, I heard a lot of the same cases on the RUclips, a lot of RUclipsr who are blaming DJI made a very fragile rotate display for Pocket 3~ As you explaining, how is your Pocket 3's rotate display doing? does it survival within 15 months? What is your opinions about the cases about the fragile rotate display broken down?
Same here for me 1 month back and 2 of my friends have had the same problem. Apparently there is a part behind the screen that wears out very quickly when you angle the screen back and forth, eventually causing it to come loose from its mount. This could have been avoided if DJI had chosen a similar mechanism to the one used on early 2000s phones, but it would have cost more.
my favorite vlog camera, however my osmo pocket 3 had a problem with the screen getting stuck in one position, the same problem happened to 2 of my friends with their osmo pocket 3. Luckily we had DJI care.
I had my OP3 with me at Walt Disney World in May and people kept approaching me to ask me what it was. Didn't see any others when I was there. I was back again in December and the OP3 was the most popular camera in the theme parks other than cell phones. Outnumbered MILCs by at least 10:1.
My only problem is when I catch on to something late, in this case after its been out 1 year, this makes me to want to wait until a next version comes out to see what gets added. Can anyone speculate what features they could possibly add to the next one that this one doesn't have? Or maybe ill get the 3 when they drop the price ahead of the 4 release??
Osmo pocket 3 has a problem with the screen tilting mechanism wearing out, which requires you to open the unit and screw back a part. I'm guessing DJI will fix this in the next version, as they had to repair quite a few. Another update is that op4 will probably have 4 mics plugged in at the same time and that you can control 4 osmo pocket at the same time on your phone...Aka you see 4 different screen on your phone or Ipad.
It is a wonderful camera and pairs well with Action series. However, I am frustrated with the lack of firmware updates for this camera. It truly feels like DJI has put this camera into furlough long before its potential has been realized.

Traveling Tiv here, I noticed that no one talks about one of the most important things about this camera. It's not waterproof or water resistant. I'm here in thailand, and the humidity reaks havoc with electronics in the field. Will they make this water repellent on the next generation? Also, tip... Ulanzi No Longer Ships to Thailand. Terrible!
I love the grab 'n go ability of the Pocket 3 with the dual mic receiver built-in!

@@jonahkaiguam the pocket is such a good all purpose camera. The pocket paired with the action 4 or 5 is a great traveler / family combo.
Thanks 🙏

Great vid what’s the attachment you use to fix to the tripod, it’s like it snapped onto the tripod without screwing the GoPro screw?

You need both the Pocket and the Action. Never go, pro!

The Osmo Pocket 3 is also a good webcam.
Does it have a hard case? I would fear destroying it on the way to a venue, never mind using it.
waiting for the pocket 4.. do you think it's gonna be released in 2025?

If they made it "weatherproof" it would probably compete with their action series.

Bad image, crazy price.
