I love it. I love the concept, the location, everything. It's Resort/Cruise, not Haute Couture. It's wearable, and not crazy. The American West theme is well thought out IMO. Good for her.
I can't believe this is the new Dior! I absolutely love it!!! you guys should have in mind that what she's doing to the brand is revolutionary, she's trying to get into a young market, however, I do agree she needs to do something new with the shapes.
This is actually pretty good, very beautiful just not sure that is what Christian Dior should be... And there is an unpleasant echo from the Dallas collection from CHANEL, it's not a copy, but I would have liked something different.
I completely agree with your comment. However, I do wonder how Christian Dior should look like? The codes of CD in their original form would not work today's life, so they have to be reinterpreted. That's what people forget (in my opinion) when they watch these videos..
I totally agree with you, Dimitri. This is a great presentation and what I adore about Maria is the synergy she creates around the brand, paying homage to all the greats who have been with the house of Dior. She, as a woman, she knows damn right that the classic Dior silhouette no longer works now. I mean who would actually wear a full-tulle skirt/dress out these days? Not even the rich and famous, I suppose. People who kept bashing Maria Grazia seem to have forgotten that when Maria and Pier did their first 3-4 collections in Valentino, no one got it. A lot of people hated the nude color that they both introduced to the house. Look how Valentino has shaped up now after the years of evolution. Yes, something that I do agree is the same styling and shapes for her 4th collection, BUT, that is really how you build and establish a fresh identity. Of course her casting can be more diverse, she could offer more silhouettes, give her some time, I think she'll do wonders! I, for one, think that her reference points are so different and interesting. At least now when I walk pass Dior, it does look fresh, modern and exciting!
+keys4321 i started to believe that Pier is actually the one behind those genius Valentino creations hence im still swooning over Valentino's beautiful work yet Valentino hasnt lost its essence. Then comes Maria who canceled what we all (Dior clients) loved! She changed the colours we loved, she shapes we loved, the style and class we loved. She left us confused and unrelated to the brand.. Im now only picking random pieces those are not from the runway collection, those Raf Simons-like creations.... I cant wait until they replace her....
I am speaking as a neophyte so I fully admit my opinion means nothing but I thought the clothes were beautiful and stylish. Also I don't think it is derivative of the Chanel Paris-Dallas show. Both are great.
I really like this, i mean, it´s not a triditional Dior (it´s not even close), but it´s innovative (just because it has hats it´s a copy from Chanel Dallas) and kind of refreshing.
I think she did a good job. This is a resort collection and has to be different from "regular" Dior. I think she took a bold risk and it paid off. To me, this is better than her ready-to-wear collections.
I love the setting for the show. So beautiful. I like the clothes but from some of the comments I see below, I maybe one of the few who likes them. Oh well.....
After trying to capture a sick bobcat for 3 hours (he fully recovered), this was my 2nd favorite day at work. The excellent production team and when they left, they left no trace behind. I still want that red dress.
Yes it is chanel dallas, however every designer can get inspired by the wild west and put collection out there let's not judge. Chanel wasn't the first to design a wild west inspired collection.
it's funny to see people comment that the collection looks like a costume show. A fashion show is the interpretation of the designer in terms of styling and suggest a dream and fantasy, when you gonna buy these pieces you adapt by your own taste. Maria Grazia takes her ideas and brought to Dior a new way of freedom and I'm not speaking about "we all should be feminist" for me this is a kind of spirit, about being natural and ethereal, sound stupid to heard "looks like valentino" darling... she's coming from that Maison and she can't be dishonest creating a fake image for her because she's in Dior. I personally enjoy the show and the clothes are absolutely beautiful... I love very much the fact that she build a silhouette and add a different motive every season, love the dress that Maartje Verhoef is wearing love the coats at the beginning. I wish to see more silhouette and shapes next time.
Γιαννης Παπαδοπουλος I agree but, she's very talented and she's not making fast changes like all the creative directors in a big Maison. and yes I want to see other shapes and colors in her DNA.
Mario Tsala clothes from zara last a week so yeah they are laughing that you are still buying and comparing zara to high fashion?? Do you talk to your mother with that mouth? Go and wash them before the fashion industry hears you
Would you be able to tell the differences if those clothes hadn't no labels on ?NO.What exactly do you mean with that mouth did i said anything bad?The truth hurts sorry and maybe you should stop being offended over such things.
It's not about the price but the quality and care that goes into making it, I don't care whether it's made by my neighbour or you if it looks good and it's made well, f£#ck mass zara production with £250 price tag with primark being better quality, if it's mass produced it isn't designed well and overpriced like zara as they're only after money. I make my own clothes too and I never said it's about the price no! It's about taste and quality bejatch not price tag. Where designers win
Brilliant & Creative. This Pioneer Women is well traveled with evidence of multi-cultural influences (Native American, African, Aztez). The prints have a hand-painted-etching quality that I am drawn to-literally (pure genius on the fur chinchilla 3:10/shearling poncho 3:55; and I am a vegetarian). A mystical and primitive vibe shines through which connects me to the simplicity of mankind and nature. The earthy shades made the perfect backdrop for intricate embroidery, feathers and fringes. Anyone with a sense of fashion should be able to appreciate the creative efforts being displayed here even if it does not fit with your ideology of the what the house should represent. It is insulting and unfair to compare this designer to the likes of Raf, Galliano or even Dior. Designers are artists and we get our inspiration from living and no one lives the same life. An area of opportunity would lie with those silly little western hats that adorned the models' head. Unnecessary and too literal. Maria represents a fresh feminist point of view with the capabilities of the Dior ateliers at her finger tips-I am exciting to see what else she can do!!!
Remember that time you were a first year student in fashion college and you decided to do a collection along the theme of native Americana, and you had laboriously gathered all the cliches of costume from that region on Google images after watching a few spaghetti westerns: Prairie skirts, ponchos, Pendleton shirts, leather fringing, turquoise concho jewellery, gaucho hats, and a muddy palette streaked with desert reds and oranges? Well someone's gone and made your collection for you.
West World? This is not so LA... Etro + Ralph Lauren, and of course Chanel París-Dallas.... Please try harder, don't play the gucci strategy, we don't need an another major brand to do Zara's job (mix and copy someone else's art for living).
Can someone tell Maria Grazia to stop trying to make the J'adior elastic waistband happen, it's not going to happen. Also, what kind of Chanel - Dallas, Etro, Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren, Chloe, Urban Outfitters, Stella McCartney mess is this?
yeah everyone was "bring galliano back" when raf was around. a lot of them did not realize that raf actually increased dior sales significantly in accessories, apparel and even haute couture which the house has not experienced during the final years of galliano, thats why raf was begged to stay. galliano is truly amazing but his clothes did not translate in sales while raf kept dior's true aesthetic but giving it a wearable fresh and modern take hence the sales increase. maria grazia, i dont know. her accessories last year was doing okay though so we dont know yet.
Why does a show that heavily features Native American, Mexican and African motifs, have balloons that have the word "savage" printed on them floating in the background? What exactly is the implication here???
lovely ,I just wish these camera men would find a place and stay put so we can see "all " the clothes that are coming out and not just half of them until the end of the video.
Oddly compelling, at first glance , a Doll Like American Frontier Veneered gloss. ..it takes a bit adjustment to augment all the varied time references and nuances. ... at second glance. ..wonderful.
The logos are amazing, i think they looked great in the 2000's in shirts and accessories like the "j'adore dior", "adiorable" or "diorella" to name a few but when you see what Maria Grazia is doing you can't help to hate everything! you're right, the shapes are the same collection after collection!
Honestly, i'm warming up to the designs on the dresses with the native american and horse motifs. She really has to cut it with all these plain jackets, pants, and shirts though.
This is not Dior, Chanel did this concept, not to say she copied Karl's idea, but it's def too close to home. It's not so horrible, it's just not right for the house. I think Ms.M needs to be fired and start her own brand, I'll def support her then.
Beautiful commercial clothes, but nothing revolutionary, which the name of Dior stands for. It is also obvious this is the designer's version of Gucci for the brand, but overall, actually looks very Valentino. Not to mention, her interpretation of her theme is so literal. And "literal" interpretations in fashion is not really a good thing.
how to fuck up a classy brand 101 can that ruth-i dont know how to walk- bell girl stop opening every show we get it maria she's white, shaved head, lesbian and you're trying to show her as the epitome of a feminist (not working tho). the only good thing is the hair and set up/location and amanda googe at 5:20 . Also 5:26 tommy hilfiger spring 2016 anyone? if you're gonna copy dont let it be tommy hilfiger pls.. dear dior team leave her at the desert
avowed raf fan here. even though this doesn't read as dior to me, or is my personal taste, i do think many of the looks are quite beautiful. i just think the styling is off and makes for a more down-market impression. the hats need to go, and the hair is so meh.
I love it. I love the concept, the location, everything. It's Resort/Cruise, not Haute Couture. It's wearable, and not crazy. The American West theme is well thought out IMO. Good for her.
Agree, I thought to check their shop & buy some. Timeless, so can be worn in a few occasions.
I actually don't understand why this collection is so criticized, I like it.
Bravo Maria Grazia! Amazing collection.
Reflective, classic American plains dressing. Loved this setting with the tents with the pegs in the soil along with that haunting music. Nice job.
Beautiful conception!Everything matches wonderfully!
That's amazing! Just perfect! Really breathtaking.Maria has so much style and grace in her collection. Totally love!
I can't believe this is the new Dior! I absolutely love it!!! you guys should have in mind that what she's doing to the brand is revolutionary, she's trying to get into a young market, however, I do agree she needs to do something new with the shapes.
Young market cant afford dior.. Not speaking money, it just doesnt fit. Dior is very classic
This is actually pretty good, very beautiful just not sure that is what Christian Dior should be... And there is an unpleasant echo from the Dallas collection from CHANEL, it's not a copy, but I would have liked something different.
I completely agree with your comment.

Padrísimo, fascinante, increíble pasarela..!
MAKE DIOR GREAT AGAIN...someone...please.
Dior is more classy, than chanel. The models also are women, not children.
I really like this, i mean, it´s not a triditional Dior (it´s not even close), but it´s innovative (just because it has hats it´s a copy from Chanel Dallas) and kind of refreshing.

Incredible! Beautiful setting and patterns and layers
That lipstick and contour was fab!
Merci à DIOR de faire du bon boulot !.....
This was so creative, i loved it.
bring this back pleaseeeeeee
NICE COLLECTION ! IT REMIND ME TO RRL & " OUT OF AFRICA "
Looks like a chic westworld. I'm kind of living for it!
I love this collection and I love Maria Grazia for Dior. I said it, lol
This reminds me of CHANEL's pre fall show in Texas
Yes it is chanel dallas, however every designer can get inspired by the wild west and put collection out there let's not judge. Chanel wasn't the first to design a wild west inspired collection.
anyone knows the show's track?
I really want to like it, as a big fans of Dior... however, this collection is more like Ralph Lauren's to me.
1)The clothes looked like costumes
2)This felt more like Chloe than Dior
3)This felt like a Chanel-Dallas copycat,only worse
even if it's a copy of "whatever" as a woman I would like to wear these clothes.
it's funny to see people comment that the collection looks like a costume show. Marcos Selhorn The thing is that from the moment that "we wish to see better things next season" from Dior something is going wrong...
Γιαννης Παπαδοπουλος I agree but, she's very talented and she's not making fast changes like all the creative directors in a big Maison. and yes I want to see other shapes and colors in her DNA.
Lol, can someone bring back Dior please?
someone is getting fired xD
Jonathan BongLover How about not?
I'm sorry, do you need a tissue ?
Julia L' Ange Yes, I need a Whole Box!! 🙄
IS THAT FASHION???
Bravo Dior!!!!!!!!
Great collection but I almost felt that I was watching a Chanel show.
Outstanding!!!!!!!!♥♥♥♥♥
Bring back John, his the only one understand Dior DNA
anyone know the music?? especially at the beginning
soooo tribal soooo dope
The best video
ZARA is laughing at this
Mario Tsala clothes from zara last a week so yeah they are laughing that you are still buying and comparing zara to high fashion?? Do you talk to your mother with that mouth? Go and wash them before the fashion industry hears you
Would you be able to tell the differences if those clothes hadn't no labels on ?NO.What exactly do you mean with that mouth did i said anything bad?The truth hurts sorry and maybe you should stop being offended over such things.
WHAT IS "ZARA " OR WHO´S "ZARA" ?????
It's not about the price but the quality and care that goes into making it, I don't care whether it's made by my neighbour or you if it looks good and it's made well, f£#ck mass zara production with £250 price tag with primark being better quality, if it's mass produced it isn't designed well and overpriced like zara as they're only after money. a lot of the prints and clothes were really nice, but this is just NOT dior at all. Bill Gaytten was better tbh
okay, but where's Johnny?
Oh. Is it they new 'see now, buy now' strategy? See now in Dior, buy now in Zara? Am more into the comment section than the collection.
Brilliant & Creative. This Pioneer Women is well traveled with evidence of multi-cultural influences (Native American, African, Aztez). Chloe ft louis vuitton ft chanel.
Some pieces were just Ok. Do you guys remember when Dior were the best HC and RTW maison?
Fantastic runway
But look like Chloe
Theyre not the most original designs but they were some pieces that were pretty
Chanel París-Dallas
this doesn't look like dior at all, looks more like valentino.but great clothes anyway
Once again. I love this, but it's not Dior, nor the level Dior could be on.
West World? This is not so LA... Etro + Ralph Lauren, and of course Chanel París-Dallas.... Please try harder, don't play the gucci strategy, we don't need an another major brand to do Zara's job (mix and copy someone else's art for living).
LV cruise just crushed this cowboy show with their Japanese inspired show smh
wow.. superb!!
I love the direction she took, but the clothes need to be more "feminine" and "ladylike".
I miss Raf so much...
I thought exactly the same while watching !
Natalia Ostrowska when he was here , you guys hated him . when he left , you guys said love him .
yeah everyone was "bring galliano back" when raf was around. a lot of them did not realize that raf actually increased dior sales significantly in accessories, apparel and even haute couture which the house has not experienced during the final years of galliano, thats why raf was begged to stay. galliano is truly amazing but his clothes did not translate in sales while raf kept dior's true aesthetic but giving it a wearable fresh and modern take hence the sales increase. maria grazia, i dont know. her accessories last year was doing okay though so we dont know yet.
nope... he wasn't good either.
this house is trying soooo hard
Siri KKS I've always loved his work but unfortunately you're right. He deserved way more appreciation back then. Not now, after he left.
i like it , is usable and re- usable,
No Dior. What happens
I see someone's a fan of Westworld
it look like Dior and Valentino combine and somehow try to be chic....
Why does a show that heavily features Native American, Mexican and African motifs, have balloons that have the word "savage" printed on them floating in the background? What exactly is the implication here???
Histórico com detalhes ,matéria prima e arte rupestre.
Estilista-CHISTIAN DIOR- LOS ANGELES-CALIFORNIA.
lovely ,I just wish these camera men would find a place and stay put so we can see "all " the clothes that are coming out and not just half of them until the end of the video.
Will this woman ever leave Valentino? Dior made a really, really bad decision. I hope this is her last collection.
it's Chloé...
hahahahahha u made my day
and ralph lauren as well
I think Ralph lauren is way beyond this.
hardly
+Terry Chiu 100%
I DO NOT see Chanel Paris-Dallas nor Chloe, all y'all trippen. What I DO see is Valentino and a lot of the same techniques and silhouettes.
It's Ralph Lauren
Oddly compelling, at first glance , a Doll Like American Frontier Veneered gloss. ..it takes a bit adjustment to augment all the varied time references and nuances. ...
at second glance. ..wonderful.
MUSIC PLEEEEEEEEEEASE
Really? What is this?It looks like Maria doesn't know how to make other shapes, and please stop with the Jadior logo 😨
The logos are amazing, i think they looked great in the 2000's in shirts and accessories like the "j'adore dior", "adiorable" or "diorella" to name a few but when you see what Maria Grazia is doing you can't help to hate everything! you're right, the shapes are the same collection after collection!
I love Dior my love collection everything it dream princes in fation for the world.
Am yo
Nice girls in hats.
Hello chanel dallas /#wtfdior
어떻게 이게 샤넬 달라스와 비교가 되지.. 웨스턴룩이란걸 빼곤 같은게 없구만
chanel dallas was much better, with better models, better details and better conzept
Chanel #Dallas indeed
This is absolutely not Dior.... :/ :/
For heaven's sake, just re-employ Galliano!
je kiffe à mort ❤❤
chanel paris-dallas
Honestly, i'm warming up to the designs on the dresses with the native american and horse motifs. She really has to cut it with all these plain jackets, pants, and shirts though.
What happed with the oryginalna music?
this is NOT the Dior that I know...
Its like Ralph Lauren revisited. Yawn....still waiting for the miracle at Dior.
This is not Dior, Chanel did this concept, not to say she copied Karl's idea, but it's def too close to home. It's not so horrible, it's just not right for the house. I think Ms.M needs to be fired and start her own brand, I'll def support her then.

The first dress was inspired by the Motherpeace Tarot
how to fuck up a classy brand 101

so funny with the leave her at the desert!
Omg that Hilfiger dress....... That's too much for me to handle.
avowed raf fan here.
even though this doesn't read as dior to me, or is my personal taste, i do think many of the looks are quite beautiful. i just think the styling is off and makes for a more down-market impression. the hats need to go, and the hair is so meh.
Um desfile com uma coleção inpécavl
Obsessed 😍
All of those who are ranting about Dior's aestheticism: tell it to all Dior loyal customers.
Thanks. BYE
Zara:Knock,knock.Who's there?
Dior:Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Zara:Maria WHO?
I loved the clohthes . I's a great job BUT it's not Dior for me.
很喜欢这个秀,薄纱裙真的很有华伦天奴家仙的气质
song?
she is still stuck with valentino, so disappointing. has she not been reading the critics? ugh
i bet all of dior's competitors were laughing at this collection
Music?
Poor Dior without John Galliano!! So poor!!!
в десятку...
