In case anyone was looking for block counts: 3456 Fission Reactor Casing Blocks for the outside; to make each cooler group in the corner up to the ceiling: 16 water coolers (he should have had 8 on the top and bottom not 9), 22 glow stone coolers, 88 graphite blocks, 88 lapis coolers, 44 magnesium coolers, 88 red stone coolers, 88 reactor cells, 44 quartz coolers.
@@araysharp The water coolers should be in a ring with the center block removed. The water coolers have to touch an active moderator block or a reactor cell. The one in the middle would only be touching four other water coolers and a glow stone cooler. You can fill that block in with a water cooler like he did but it’s not necessary since it doesn’t do anything.
Also, 88 graphite blocks, 16 water coolers, 88 reactor cells, 22 glowstone coolers, 44 lapis coolers, 22 magnesium coolers, 66 quartz coolers and 132 redstone coolers for the towers with only one side touching the wall. you'll need 8 of these. and for the 4 centre towers you'll need 16 water coolers, 88 graphite blocks, 88 reactor cells, 22 glowstone coolers, 176 redstone coolers and 88 quartz coolers.
I dont understand how people come up with things like this but thank you so much for the guidance because I can now rest easy knowing that my sky factory 4 world isn't going to get decimated
found you randomly when me and my friends decided to redo skyfactory 4, but after a year ive kind of forgotten everything i knew, ur videos are so helpful and honestly would have taken me so long to figure things out without them
That's a good idea. I think you might also be able to fit some gold and diamond coolers at the top and bottom between the water coolers and redstone/quartz coolers.
if the water coolers need to touch 1 reactor cell or moderator block, doesn't the center of the 3x3 at the top and bottom of the stacks touch a glowstone cooler?
So theoretically u can just make a 5x5 reactor with this set up for a miniature one. Just did my first steps at doing a 3x3 using ur other design but I like this one
Hello Onlydraven, yeah i know my english is not good also this video is very old.. BUT.. can you explain to me what is the Different between the Energy RF and FE? i have both in my package.. so what is higher?!
Sure! They are basically the same thing. Some mods call power FE and some other mods call power RF. Most of the time it really won't matter and they will be interchangeable. You may run into the occasional mod that requires one in specific, but that should be very rare and I can't think of any in Sky Factory 4.
For some reason, I feel like an 8 block generator that generates 3750 per tick(max geothermal) is slightly better than this...what was darkosto thinking lol - thats 8 energy/tick/block(for all four corners, technically could be 1200 e/t/b and instantly explode) or 486 energy/tick/block
hmm I have the same setup, but im getting too much heat, using the same TBU fuel as well edit: nevermind, i was using leu-235 fuel and didnt realize i had to let it finish processing in the tank to get the updated cooling tick. . . great video!
@onlydraven just tried this now, same config except i took it to the ceiling and put a stack in all 4 corners and it immediately sprung huge leaks all over when i turned it on
Is this viable? What im see rn is u store 8m but make 125k rf(four corners fully) my 1 wither farm with 1 nether gen produces 500k fe but stores 1 mil. I can add more nether gen because of an abundance of nether stars(prob two more) Tldr: i make 500k fe with nether gen, and this fussion reactor makes 125krf but stores more, is it worth to keep a fussion reactor
is there a way to automate the fuel? could i run item extraction cables into and out of the reactor ports to keep input and output of different fuel cells going?
Yup. Connect controller with an item extraction cable and a chest holding the fuel. Another extraction cable on the other side of the controller should pull the used fuel into another chest.
was way overkill with the cooling rate. 23,000 cooling just for 1,900 heat XD I get the idea now but i'm definitely using more graphite and reactor cells than that
@@OnlydravenGaming No I figured it out the type of fuel you use will change how it acts you were using reg fuel I was using the oxide one which produces more so I just had to fix that and now I got the same results as you.
fixed, with regular tbu fuel oxide does't work does anybody know if there is a better one that generates less heat but still does't make heat build up slowly?
THIS VIDEO IS OUT OF DATE!!!!! All of the cooler blocks he used don’t have the same functions. His blocks use touching and the newest update has all the cooling blocks as adjacent to something else

what do you mean about the 8 instead of nine, just curious, I just want to make sure i build mine right

this helped me a lot! thanks!
maybe drink some nightvision pods next time. it was really dark
I built a single one of these cells in a 7x7 for now and it is working beautifully thank you.
Awesome! I’m glad it’s working for you.
Love the not ominous at all stormy weather that keeps popping up in the tutorial ^^
you can replace the magnesium cooler with tin coolers. they are 10/t more efective.
I just have to say that your videos help me out SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much in skyfactory and i thank you for everything :)
I would recommend not putting the top of the reactor untill you get everything set up inside. (Lighting purposes)
This 5x5x24 reactor is better than my 11x11x9 (in a compact machine)...
Crazy build! Nice video again.
Just so you know, you can use tin instead of magnesium and the middle water collers don't work.
You could also have tin coolers in the back left corner since you have 2 lapis blocks.
That's a good idea. I think you might also be able to fit some gold and diamond coolers at the top and bottom between the water coolers and redstone/quartz coolers.
This reactor melted down on me.

I got very confused at trying to make fuel as I set up a uranium farm... Only got to thorium fuel
IN 2023 this seems to produce too much heat

@@sandyk.7138 Yup, in the majority of situations.
Might do with some night vision instead of torches :)
Hi maybe you could do a tutorial on how to build/use spatial storage from applied energistics :D
how would we fill the middle of the reactor?

I know its a little late to say this for sf4 tutorials but why dont you become an android and get night vision it would have helped out alot
@onlydraven just tried this now, same config except i took it to the ceiling and put a stack in all 4 corners and it immediately sprung huge leaks all over when i turned it on
What fuel are you using? My design is for TBU fuel specifically. Other fuels can cause higher temperatures.
@@OnlydravenGaming oh so I just flooded it. I'll try again with TBU in that case
@@Shakou0130 TBU fuel has the lowest output rate of both heat and energy

would just like to know if this still currently works in skyfactory4?
Yup. Built one a couple weeks ago.
Thank you for making this
Idk if they changed it but im still making alot more heat than i am removing.. i followed your exact steps haha
They didnt
did you make the video on how to make the better fuels?
All the gas burning generators I could fit into that space...
Why didn't you use a night vision?
I built the 24x24x24 box and the controller is red and says "No Problem" at the top. Anyone knows what this means?
is there a way to automate the fuel? could i run item extraction cables into and out of the reactor ports to keep input and output of different fuel cells going?
Yup. Connect controller with an item extraction cable and a chest holding the fuel. Another extraction cable on the other side of the controller should pull the used fuel into another chest.
thanks for information :)
I’ve done the casing and it won’t say it’s good for a 24x24x24 and it’s 26x26x26 and I’ve triple checked the corners
this thing is getting a melt down every time i turn it on. i have build it exactly like this. and its melting with any of the fuels
I like ur vids u should get more subs
I appreciate that, thank you. 😊
Do you need mod blocks if you’re using emerald
What should I do to increase the cooling even further? I can't seem to find any designs that allow for better fuels
i followed your guide and put 1 in each corner and im producing heat. Not sure what to do about it.
literally rebuilt it and im still getting 18,960 heat :(
@@DannyDarth Are you using TBU fuel?
Instead of the regular casing, I can use transparent casing and I’m still gonna get the same results, right?
Yes, that’s correct.
Onlydraven Gaming and one last question... can I put both types of casing or does it have to be strictly one?
@@alexisguerrero3433 I believe it is fine to mix both, though I've not tried personally.

For some reason, this makes my generator cool only -29k while the reactor heat is about 45k.. :S
Maybe u used a different fuel
how many blocks do you need for this?
that intro gave me flashbacks off my divorce
ay its alright man more time to play sky factory
my fission reactory always overheats? same one thoguh

Do u have a max size fusion reactor tutorial?
what if i play in compact machine scenario? how i can build so big structure?

@@perssontm1628 stupid question ^-^
can it be 23x23x23?

did you put in TBU fuel
My fission reactor is using fuel but not producing energy, can someone help?

What did you do
My 8x8x22 does 100k+ per tick
does anyone know a rough block count ill need to make this?
