    Single owner LLC is also just an addendum to your personal taxes with a schedule c, If you really keep track of all the expenses and write offs your taxable profit amount should be much lower. Mileage is huge. I drive all over the place for shows, to meet for deals, to go to garage sales, it is all business related.

    I appreciate your feed back with this project, a lot of good information! Couple of questions, are you tracking your over head eg gas/mileage to and from post office/shows/etc and are you tracking things like cost of the gem mailers etc and are you keeping the receipts for these purchases? Concerning getting books graded, if the graded copy sells for a higher price than the raw copy (which I think it should) wouldn't the decision come down to the cost of pressing/cleaning/grading the book? Please keep videos on this subject coming.

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics Год назад

      Graded doesn’t always sell for more. The prices of graded and ungraded books have gotten a lot closer over the last few years. So sometimes it just isn’t worth grading. You won’t get enough of a bump (if any) in price to justify the cost and time.
      I’ve tracked mileage and gas when I did a couple hour drive to go to buy a collection. But I don’t bother for the short drives to the post office. You definitely can, I know some people do, but i just don’t really feel like tracking that.

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics Год назад +1

      The shock 11 probably not. The tales 35, maybe. I generally price them pretty similar, I’ve just found for more expensive books it’s harder to sell them if they aren’t graded. That’s often my determining factor (value of the book).

    So if a buyer flakes on payment, do you just cancel the order after x number of days? And then offer it to the next highest bidder? How do you document it so ebay knows that this was just a flakey buyer and you're not just cancelling it arbitrarily?

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics Год назад +1

      You have to wait 4 days to cancel on a non-payer. When you cancel you have to select the reason and one of them is that they didn’t pay. That option doesn’t appear for 4 days.

      I agree. I think 4 days is excessive. I’m happy to give longer if they need time, but it’s pretty obvious you’re being ghosted after a day or two.
