thank you so much! i realy want to a back handspring, and i always look for different tutorials but they all look so hard and scary but this tutorial is much easier and more comfteble to do!

This actually taught me on the trampoline but now I'm trying to do it pm the floor but it's alot harder
If someone is first learning a back handspring it is best to teach them first to keep their arms up and not swing. They need to learn how to push with their legs and most of the time if they start swinging first they just throw their bodies. This is a cool idea to be a drill. Not everyone if the same. Some are younger children. They may not know to jump or may not jump hard enough. If a child can not do a handstand by just walking their feet up a wall and holding the handstand and stay of their head, they probably wont be able to jump back on to their hands and be strong enough to stay off their heads. So drills for that are important. Flexibility is helpful too. Doing different drills & other skills will help to build and strengthen one and be prepared to learn the handspring and it be easier for them & even makes it easier on the spotter. Some may be able to jump hard enough and even be able to swing their arms back and up but they may have bent or froggy legs, pike their legs over or even bend and pull their legs over to soon. Although this is a cool technique to use, but I think if it is used it should be after all other things and skills have been properly and successfully achieved. Then when child has the skill but is not yet confident enough or too afraid to do it without a spotter, this would be a good way to help build their confidence and get rid of any block.

Omg i just did it it actually works! Try doing the routine over and over again then try your back handspring but i do suggest like pillows and blankets or gymnastic mates so you feel more comfortable and safe❤❤

Wow after 2 hours of trying i got it!
I'm not at all a gymnastics expert but I learned how to do back handsprings at actual classes, and it takes weeks of building up muscle and nailing technique before they even let you try it by yourself on a trampoline. Unless you're already a physically fit person with good arm/shoulder strength, i would not recommend trying to learn how to do a back handspring this way. If you land wrong, you could break your neck of course, but a lot of other injuries could happen too, like I'm sure snapping your arm in half won't be very fun either. TL;DR: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

A problem of mine is like one of my legs, they go up before the other. And it’s so annoying, like my right leg (my good leg) goes up before my left, AND ITS SO ANNOYING!
I got dizzy but it helped a lot
I did it I didn’t even do the prep.
I am a level 3 gymnast and they won’t let me learn harder things like this so I teaching myself. I can do a back handspring easily with no hesitation on the trampoline but I’m way to scared to do it on the ground.
