Hi Tony, an occasional female lurker here! I am 76 and had an ileostomy (colon and rectum removed) when I was 21 so I have lived most of my life with a bag on my stomach. And modern surgery has improved so much since those days:) Once over the initial op I have done everything I wanted to do in life. Although it was a shock actually it made my life so much easier because all my childhood and teenage years was a misery with needing the loo all the time, having 'accidents' in public and never being able to rely on going out and enjoying myself. I am really sorry you are facing this but it does not feel like such a big thing when you are on the other side of it!! I have looked after myself, eaten sensibly and am healthier than most people my age and still going very strong. Facing something so difficult so young meant that I grabbed life by the scruff of the neck and took risks and had adventures. Went to China and Tibet and a tour of Japan just before lockdown. Went to the Antarctic, made cement with no mixer just my own muscles, installed drains, gardened, rode horses, mucked out stables, snowmobiled in the Arctic and did physical games with the family. Once over this blip I am sure life will be even sweeter for you than it was before. Best of luck and kudos for sharing such a difficult subject. Sending you positive waves and very best wishes. 💅
@@newbatling4194 How kind of you:) I felt I owed it to the NHS and the dedicated surgeons, my family and myself to make the most of the lease of life I was given. I have had such fun!! Hoping for more yet.
Hi from North shields Tony, my father had full colostomy for colon cancer in 1991 and as of this morning aged 87 he's still working on his veg garden, you've got this mate, good luck.
I'm not sure if you realise this Tony, but this video will help countless people. It sounds like you have a decent support network, with that and your wonderful positive attitude, you'll get through this. It's a tremendously life-changing procedure, but we all know you'll be ok. To quote a top bloke... look after yourself, take good care. x
Tony I'm awful sorry to hear about this. My friend was diagnosed with bladder cancer in her very early 40s. She had the radical bladder removal with urostomy. It was definitely a learning curve to get to grips with the bag but for what it's worth she said that when she got her urostomy she finally got a full night of sleep. She had never in her life slept through for getting up and down with urinary frequency. She is now 5 years cancer free and is an active member of the emergency services. I'm wishing you all the best in your treatment and hope you can get as much time in your gardens as possible (gently does it). All the best to all your family too, from Scotland.
High Tony, sorry to hear your problem. I'm going through a similar , 2 months ago had a 4 hour opp for back door problem and about to start 4 months chemotherapy. Try to stay positive for your wife and children, they also find it hard to deal with. All the best, cant wait to see you back at the allotment
Hello, lad. That's got to be the hardest video you've ever produced but I genuinely want to thank you. İt takes a strong man to talk about these things with friends and I honestly feel privileged that you've been able to share this. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for the coming days. Keep strong, mate, and keep us informed. Take care. Dave
Tony & Melanie; I’m virtually a neighbour in South Shields… I know we are strangers atm but I am literally here if you need anything. Tony has inspired me with his allotment and I’ve tried to improve mine tenfold 🤣 however; hearing what you as a family have had to deal with recently then knowing Tony won’t be 100% until his stoma is fully functional. I can water; weed and generally keep his allotment tidy(until Tony is up to it again)… please just know this is a very genuine offer and if I can help I will 🥰
Having got to the end of the video your having a catheter inserted to help pass urine. You will get used to it but it will be uncomfortable at first. Feel free to message and I’ll help. Will look forward to any videos you put out and like many others; I’ll be patient until the next ❤️
Hi Tony. It was an incredibly brave video to make. You have my prayers for a very speedy recovery. Your positivity and marvellous sense of humour will carry you through this I have no doubt and you know you have everyone here walking with you on this journey. Stay positive mate.
Sending positive thoughts Tony. The allotment will still be there when you are ready to return. They are just weeds and think of all the videos you can make about it when you return. My friend has a bag and it’s been years since he had it set-up and he’s living a full life, as he says “it takes a full day of drinking in the pub to fill it up”. Keep smiling lad. ❤
So relieved for you that it hasn't spread, but wow, what rotten luck Tony! I hope that some folks locally will help keep your plot ticking over and waiting for you when you feel up to being there again after your op. Sending positive vibes and lots of love.
Thank you so much for taking us on this journey with you. I've cried alongside you today as I did when we heard about Steve. You guys have been such an inspiration to me and you make me laugh so much. Especially looking for your hori hori ( which is right in front of you by the way 😂). You can do this and we are right by your side. Take ya laptop with you. You can video from your hospital bed 😂. Stay strong big man you've got this !!!!!!! ❤
I think everyone who follows you Tony whether we comment or not, has cried and laughed with you listening to what you are going through. Laughed about the cookies 😂. As Audrey said, Steve, God Bless, had a very aggressive type. I know lots of people with stomas, it takes a little time to get used to dealing with it and you will have your highs and lows, but, you will get through this. You have a loving family who will help you get through. The rest of us are praying and willing you on. All the best to you and yours mate. Stay positive 👍🙏
Thank you for your openness and honesty. I'm roughly the same age as you with a few minor health issues. Apart from brave guys like you Tony there's not enough information out there. Brave thing to have done, utmost respect
Thank you Tony for sharing this difficult news with us. I lost my husband to cancer nine months ago today. The days have been long & difficult. Everyday you are one of the people who put a smile on my face & cheer me up. Take time to have ur treatments and heal. With the support of ur loving wife, kids and friends, you will cross this hurdle. And you have the prayers and wishes of the entire RUclips family rooting for you. When u r up to it, u can even do a potty mouth session regularly to keep us posted. Hang in there! We r in this journey with you!❤️🙏
❤ Hi Tony, it's taken me the 2 days to think of what to say to you, blubbering like a bairn as you are so open. Sending huge hugs to you and your family. ❤❤❤
You have my respect Tony for doing this video. I have just gone through something similar. In Jan 2020 I had a MRI just to check why I needed a hearing aid in my left ear. Like you thought nothing of it. Last year I felt my hearing in that ear had deteriorated so went for another hearing test. To cut a long story short I had got lost in the system turns out the hearing was caused by a blockage which was a brain tumour that had grown from the size of a small peanut to golf ball size therefore it had to come out during a 12 hr operation back in February. I can’t give my allotment Garden enough credit in helping my recovery 6 months down the line
My heart goes out to you Tony. Thank you for sharing your journey. My brother in law had his bladder removed so he has a bag. He is such an active man so once you're over the surgery you will be able to do what you love again. He is now 73 so stay positive and when you need support we will all be here for you. Love and hugs to you and yours x. Ann.
Sorry to hear about your health issues Tony. My father in law had the same diagnosis - that was about 6 years ago. After the initial recovery he's been his old self ever since. You'll get through this, I have no doubt, and come out the other side stronger for it. All the very best - don't forget you have the support of everyone here.
Tony, that sort of news shatters your world. I had an almost identical diagnosis a year after I retired. I had that same operation you described. They had us out of bed walking the ward 7.30 next morning. That was 7 yrs ago. I wish I could talk to you , just to give you some reassurance. Keep positive.
Tony you kept me smiling over the past few years. Now it's time for us to support you. Please keep in touch with us all and talk especially to the ones you love.
So brave of you to share this with your RUclips friends, especially after the recent loss of the magnificent Steve. We’re all with you all the way and sending love and prayers for a speedy recovery. Take your time with your recuperation and looking forward to seeing back on the plot when you’re well. Take care x
Wow,, that's been a tough story to tell,, how have you managed to be so uplifting in your videos going through all that?? You are something special to be able to do everything you are doing with the news always at the back of your mind,,, wishing you all the best for your upcoming events,, you are in my thoughts and prayers
Hi Tony, wow wasn't expecting that, what a hard video that must have been, not a dry eye in the house! Thoughts are with you during this difficult period, you are a tough cookie so you will be messing about on the allotment again in no time, I am sure. We are all thinking of you and your family, stay strong big fella, we will be here when you return! All the best, Rich.
So sorry to hear your news, Tony. The flip side of this awful news is that at least it is something that can be chopped out. Barsteward Cancer!!! The hospital will take care of your physical health, and the garden will help your mental health. I SO wish that i lived close enough to come and weed for you. Hang in there, Big Fella. We will all be here whenever you are ready to return. Sending heartfelt wishes for your recovery xxxx
Look after yourself, Tony. Great news that the cancer hasn't spread. You've done most of the hard work on the allotment for 2023, I'm certain people will rally round and help keep it going and bring in the harvests; you'll be raring to go in a month or two anyway. Just this next bit to get through. Take care now.
Hi Tony, from Coventry. My husband and i love watching your allotment videos. ❤God bless you. Thanks for sharing. It has a scary time and i can see how frightened you are by your unexpected diagnosis. Please remember, you are NOT Steve, and its likely your cancer will be cut completely out and you may even live as long as your grandparents did. Be strong, only God knows! Rest well. We will miss you not posting videos. Look after yourself!
Sorry to hear you've been going through the ringer Tony, and so close to losing your best friend. I can't even begin to imagine how dark your days have been, I'm glad to hear making the videos was giving you a little slice of normality and distraction. We're all behind you in the next stage of your journey ❤. This video will hopefully bring some kind of awareness to other men (and women) that if something isn't quite right then get it checked. We're never promised tomorrow so each day should be cherished. Sending loads of love to you and your family and all the best for when the OP day comes

Hi Tony, you should be so proud of yourself for doing this video and sharing this with everyone. Thats is fantastic that it hasn't spread ❤ good luck with your surgery and sending you a huge hug. Xxxxx
What a brave man you are Tony, sending love to you and your family ❤ just remember your not alone, we will all be here with you every step of the way x
Tony, the ability to tell your story blew me away! You had me in tears all the way, you are such a strong man! Be encouraged by all of those good stories of folks living well into their 90 s, you can aime to beat them. Please encourage Melanie and the kids to do videos of your garden when they go to water so you can spend some fun time editing and telling us about the weeds. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've never commented on your videos before, but I've been a sub for about 2 years, really enjoy your content! I just wanted to say, a positive mental attitude goes a long way. My family have been through and are going through an extremely tough time at the moment. My brother who was 29 at the time of diagnosis, was diagnosed with stage 4 b cell lymphoma, one of the most, if not the most, aggressive types of lymphoma. He went through 8 months of the strongest chemo, which included a spinal dose, had to have countless bags of blood and platelets. Throughout all of it you couldn't knock the fight out of him. He beat the hell out of it that time round and the pet scan showed he had no active lymphoma. A few months later he went for his pet scan and it showed a small spot in his chest, so more chemo. He was doing well, the next scan was even more encouraging, but then he had the worst luck. It came back in his brain cavity, which it had a 1% chance of doing and it made him extremely poorly, he lost his vision in on eye, couldn't eat because it made him choke or walk properly because he was so weak and dizzy. He was rushed to hospital for treatment, to be given the worst news that he can't be cured and that the best option was probably to go home (80 miles away), but the other option was the strongest radiotherapy which might have made his symptoms worse. He chose to have the radiotherapy, fought for his life and against all the odds, his symptoms improved, he's now in a decent place he's receiving blood transfusions and platelets every week as a result of the radiotherapy, but his body is now starting to make its own finally. He knows he can't be cured and we don't know how long he has, but he's been so positive through it all and it's got him through the fight 💪. Sorry for the wall of text but I just wanted to share his story, the fight is hard, but keep the positivity and it will get you through the worst of times. Good luck Tony! Keep strong! 💪💪
Tony, you are so brave for talking about all you are going through. Take care of yourself, I and I’m sure others will be thinking of you and sending you love ❤ see you soon when your ready we will be here for you ❤
Tony, while it seems strange at first talking it through to your viewers can be such a cathartic release of emotion; it allows you to vocalise your feelings and by recounting the story it gives you the chance to make sense of it all. As we get older unfortunately the big C is something that we have to contend with and we have to be vigilant. I recently had to have a melanoma removed from the back of my leg and the delay between getting it cut out and being given the results and likely hood of it having spread was horrendous. Thankfully it was localised; serves me right being a fair skinned Englishman in Australia! Thank you for sharing. If this video makes one stubborn 'older person' get a checkup then this video will have done some good.
Stay positive Tony, your video was very hard to watch following so soon after our sad loss of Steve, but keep the faith keep your sense of humour and you will get through this and come out the other side, I did myself exactly a year ago, now im a fit as a fiddle pushing 82. Good Luck god bless.
Hard news for you and your family Tony., thank you for sharing with us, it is a brave thing to do and I hope it helps you get back some of the control you need when news like yours throws your universe spinning. Praying for your ongoing treatment and recovery.
WOW, mate. So sorry to hear this. What a mind fuck to deal with this 2 days after Steve's Funeral. I'm so happy it didn't spread, and they can handle it. You're worrying about the garden, but we are approaching the season's end. I've hardly been at mine this year. It will still be here when you have recovered. But don't push it, mate. It's not worth the risk for a few vegetables. I know it doesn't feel like it, but amazingly, it's not spread, and you don't have to deal with a terminal diagnosis. If there is anything I can help with, just yell, pal; more than happy to lend a hand.
All the very best Tony mate & I hope all goes well for you during & after the op 👍 I also have had a few problems in the same department which have involved a couple of scans & an exploratory poke around.....lol. Your video was a little difficult to watch but has spurred me on to take action because last night was a sleepless one for me as I was kept awake by a horrible feeling of wanting to wee constantly. I've had issues with my bladder for a few years now (i'm 59 btw) but as if by some devine intervention your vid came along & has seriously jolted me into action. Wishing you the best matey & looking forward to your future content Tony 😊😊😊
Sunday evening, just finishing watering the poly tunnel, if it wasn’t for you and green side up and all the team I wouldn’t be here where I am today, that Human Touch affects us all thinking of you and the family and remember Bristol is a beautiful place because I live here thumbs up Tony all the very very best
🌺Dear Tony...I am so sorry to hear this news. I wept right along with you as you described your ordeal over the past few weeks. You have been incredibly brave...Rest assured, you are not alone. You are surrounded by a loving family and friends. I have never met you, but I feel as though I have grown to know you as you share so much of yourself and your daily adventures at the allotment. I send you prayers for a speedy recovery so you can return to your beloved garden. Take care of yourself...we're all here for you...🌾🌱Much love from the Canadian prairies ~ Louise
Just watched your video Tony I'm impressed by how strong you were to tell the story of your journey pass weeks think your sense of humour and the way you tell your story just relaxes you to tell your gardening followers your pledge your going thru please still do videos when you can as we all like to see how you going so best wishes to you and family your story will help others many thanks
Totally empathetic and sympathetic. Haven't forgotten a terror period of my own, many years ago when during a routine exam I heard, "Ah...something suspicious, here, we'll just take a biopsy *right away,*" which did nothing for my peace of mind. When those results came back, everything was all right but until they did I was either numb and mindless or reduced to a quaking mass of terrified jelly. More recently, an actual cancer. Removed surgically, but now of course the monitoring. It's all going to come right for you. All of us here send our love and prayers and positive, healing thoughts. All the best to you.
You have helped so many people by sharing your health journey, and your feelings along the way. By doing that, you help the rest of us if we ever go through the same thing, and you open up the whole spectrum of emotions that one goes through when we hear the word cancer. There is so much help today, but getting through it all is so hard, and now we have your video to help us all. Thank you for being so honest about it all. I do believe people will help take care of your garden and I understand your concern about its care. You are one brave guy to have shared it all. You need to get on the other side of the surgery to see the light at the end of the tunnel. God bless you and prayers for a quick recovery.
There are always options. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, I have mets in my spine and brain, I have been told palliative care I am over a year in and living life to the full with baking and gardening and going on travel adventures. Don't put too much emphasis on palliative care they are only looking at the symptoms at that moment. You are positive so keep hold of that you'll get there. I'm there with you. Keep going with your blogs and be happy.
Hey Tony, I am so glad you shared this. Sometimes we sit in silence and stew over all the bad possibilities and dwell in all the negative aspects can be so torturous to ourselves. When we share and talk with folks we have the possibilities of hearing positive thoughts and ideas. Just know there is unlimited support for you here. Well wishes and prayers. Please know I will pray for you and ask for peace and grace to comprehend what is happening and give you the strength to organize your thoughts and plans. Focus on your diet and the things you can do to fight this thing. Another person I follow on RUclips had a cancer and spent this past winter fighting this thing and he is now cancer free. So stay strong keep positive above all else. God bless you, Tony and your family.
There's nothing like a cancer diagnosis to put everything into perspective, that limbo time when there's nothing but testing and uncertainty is the worst part and feels like it goes on forever , once you get a plan of action you can start feeling better, you know what needs to be done and you just want to get on and do it. Always try to see yourself on the other side of it, life going on, I don't need to remind you what a wonderful gift life is because I'm sure that you already have a whole new appreciation of it! you'll be back doing what you like up your allotment again, a lot is having the right attitude which you've definitely got! I'm 5 years clear of cervical cancer but i know a lot of how you were feeling during all the testing and waiting and thats huge! everything that happens now is moving you forward and will be progress, you'll get where you need to be! My very best wishes to you!
Tony you've knocked us viewers for six and we still haven't gotten over Steve. Look positive thinking every second, minute, hour and day's we're all rooting for you and the very best of luck from Ireland ☘️☘️☘️☘️ look at the positives when in the pub you'll be laughing at all your mates waltzing to the toilet every 10 minutes 😅 good luck gardening mate 👍🍓🥕🌶️🍅
I knew something was going on. Thank you for sharing your story. So many of us have lived through a cancer diagnosis, had the surgery, and lived to tell the tale. Your story will save lives. I'm proud to know you. I'm a praying lady and will be praying for your complete healing. I understand nerves. Hang in there. This too shall pass. Big hugs from Texas.
Incredibly brave to share this emotional and personal journey. I am so relieved that you have a positive way forward. Live the adventure that is your wonderful life, Tony! Make it count and enjoy it 😊. All the very best 👍
Hi Tony, I know what you’re going through. I’ve had the bottom half of my gullet and the top part of my stomach removed and relocated into my chest. It was my gardening that kept me sane. Stay strong Tony and think positive.
When I have a hard day at work I look forward to watching your uploads and also your old stuff, when I have a hard day at life I look forward to watching your uploads and also your old stuff………. Your love and passion shows for all you do, you ain’t getting away that easy pal 💪💪❤️
I am going through similar health issues and have been in pain since January. My prayers are with you Tony. It's difficult and at times feels as if our journey is a solitary one. Noone knows your pain but you. Just remember there are those who love and adore you. I write this with pain and inflammation in my entire body. What keeps me going is my family.
Oh no, Tony. I'm same age as you. I went through all the tests for Lung Cancer at 49. I was devastated, it was like being given a death sentence. 6 months of tests and I cried everyday. So I know how you feel. Luckily I got the all clear for the big C, but honestly, I've turned into a bit of a health freak now. I stopped smoking, stopped drinking, no junk food. Hope you get the all clear, get your head into clean living and no more poisons. Sending best wishes 😊
I'm so sorry to hear about your health, Tony. What a terrifying time for you. You're so brave to share your story. It must have been a very difficult video to make especially after Steve passing. Thinking of you and your family. You're stronger than you think and will get through all this. Sending love and hugs to you, Sarah
Cried for you and with you Tony… will be praying for you that through this you will come to know God and the comfort and peace that comes from surrendering to Him. Evidence of Him is all around you, just look for it and you will see. 🙏💕🙌
Tony, really sorry that you are going through this, but what a beautiful, open & heartfelt video, you had me laughing but with tears in my eyes. 😂 We had a similar trauma last year when my husband was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, but sadly it had spread. He is a mountaineer, so after all his treatment this diagnosis was not going to stop him doing what he loves, & I’m sure when you have recovered from your operation it will be gardening & the allotment that will keep you going. Sending all my love & best wishes to you & your wonderful family. 🥰
Tony, You are so brave to tell your story in this way and although I'm about the same age as you I had tears in my eyes as you told your story. I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery and look forward to your updates. I will be praying for you and your family who will be going on this journey with you. God bless. Gary
From Ladner British Columbia. Tony, thank you for sharing your story. I lost my first husband to cancer 18 years ago, and listening to you brought back so many memories. You are going to beat this and come out so much stronger than ever. I am sure there will be volunteers to help you in the garden. I look forward to following your journey. 🤗🤗.
Sorry to hear about your health Tony. My relative had the same diagnosis and everything now is fine. Your videos are first on my evening hit-list to watch and are very motivating, loving and enjoyable to watch. Take care Tony
Thank you Tony for being so open and honest you are a very special person wishing you all the best for your operation and a speedy recovery I’m glad to hear you are going to be put in touch with a buddy who has been through the same situation as yourself it helped me no end to be able to discuss my feelings and thoughts etc. Take care Sharon

Be strong
Wishing you all the very best. Well done for sharing, it will no doubt help someone else. My dad is currently going through this, they removed a lump and they discovered a 2nd type of cancer that is like a second skin in his bladder... he is currently having BCG flushes every week. Its a road we are all travelling with him. Stay strong 💪
Tony, I am praying for you to have the peace from God that surpasses all understanding- and take things one day at a time. You are helping sooooo many people with your honest life struggles. We all are the walking wounded. ❤🙏
Having had a bag for a few months all I can say is how much freedom it gave me. Yes you get an extra large bag on a stand for night time. Its great for getting a full nights sleep with no worries, Ive got to say that was a very hard watch but I am glad I watched it all the way through. I hope you make a fast recovery the garden will be there waiting for you once your fit. All best Tony.
Thanks for sharing 😊. On a funny note, an electrician at work had 1 at 30 after a fall. Once got past the ahhhh stage. He made jokes, plus iften held the bag to keep fingers warm at brew time 😂, plus offered anyone a go. He was the only 1 that didn't need gloves lol 😆
Big hugs Tony, sounds like you have been on an emotional rollercoaster mate. Thanks for talking about this and raising awareness. Wishing you all the best with your upcoming journey and recovery my friend, stay strong ❤
As a man & fellow gardener who's allotment is our happy place, well done, for bringing this up because men of our age will always just say we're all right, stay strong brother, and get back to the garden soon 👍
Thank you for sharing such a personal experience. You are brave and a fighter. You may not realise it but you are such an inspiration to so many, not only as a gardener, a mentor and a wicked joker but as a great postive person. We are with you on your journey and recovery. You are a jedi master and "May the force be with you.. Always"
Thank you for sharing this Tony, I’m sure it will help a lot of people who may be facing similar fears. Wishing you all the best for your surgery and recovery ❤️
Well done for sharing Tony. That must have been so hard to do! Brave man! At the age of 15, my son had to have a stoma bag due to ulcerative colitis. It has been amazing for him. At 22, he has now achieved so much. It gave him his life back again. Good luck with the operation Tony. You'll be back in your garden, walking the dogs and enjoying the great outdoors again in no time. You will be able to carry on living your life! Life is for living! Take good care.❤
Sorry to hear about you're health problems Tony, I wish you all the luck in the world mate. Well done for sharing this with the you tube community. Had prostate problems myself a few years back and believe me I was craping myself ,luckily I was all clear. Men need to keep a close eye on all the water works stuff. Don't be afraid to go to the doctor. This video will help encourage guys to do that Tony . All the best mate.
Oh Tony. Such traumatic times you've had. Glad the things in your chest have come out clear. At least you can be treated, and having a bag isn't the end of the world. As you say, it's better than the other option. Good luck with the next stage of your treatment. Sending healing vibes and big hugs. I'm sure the family will take good care of your allotment. Looking forward to your future videos. Xx
Tony I sat hear watching you in this video with tear's rolling down my face. I feel so sorry for you. My wife was diagnosed with ling cancer in April and also had to have one of those Pet scans. The cancer was in her left upper lung. Like you our whole life came crashing down on us. The surgeon told us he was going to remove half of the upper lung as Radio therapy wouldn't work. She had surgery on the 19th June. Five and a half hour's in surgery and three day's in intensive. Thankfully the cancer hadn't spread. She goes to see the surgeon on the 9th of this month (Aug) for the result's. The care she had from everyone concerned was magnificent and the after care to. We wish you the very best Tony and pray for you and your family.
Tony, we are of a similar age, just as Steve was. I've had similar scares and it's not pleasant going through those worrying times but try and remain positive and you will come through this. You are a kind person and inspiring. I am sure you'll be fine but I also know how worrying it must be for all of you. I remember when my brother was diagnosed with a very rare illness and the emotional roller coaster we all followed. That was 10yrs ago and after his treatment he's fine. Stay strong, always talk with family and friends and don't let the demons spread fear in your mind. Thinking of you. Paul
"Courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. The brave man is not one who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." Nelson Mandela. You are indeed a brave man Tony as are all those going through cancer treatments. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a long ,happy and healthy retirement.
I live in Ireland and I grow veg too. If I was anywhere near you I’d help you keep your allotment going. I wish you well Tony. You’ll beat this and get back to doing what you love
Well done for sharing big man ❤ this kind of video will help so many, I'm sure of it
Hi Tony, an occasional female lurker here! 💅
Wow!..... you sure are a trouper.... well done
@@newbatling4194 How kind of you:) I felt I owed it to the NHS and the dedicated surgeons, my family and myself to make the most of the lease of life I was given. I have had such fun!! Hoping for more yet.
Beautiful message, thanks for sharing.
@@wordsbymaribeja1470 Thank you very much:)

GRATITUDE XX n
Wow that’s amazing about your friend just had to reply to you and this will be such a big encouragement to Tony I am sure👍
Thank you for being honest and entertaining. Good luck and hope your consultant points patients to view your video!
All the best, Tony. I'm sure everything will be OK and I wish you a very speedy recovery xx
Ps - life is fine with urostomy - different but ok
Remember - i was stage 4 and its all gone and im free of it - dont despair , its very do able
Yes take your laptop with you 👍
Cup your ear now Tony. D’ya hear it? That’s every single one of us cheering you on. Listen to that roar.
Now go out to play on y’ en bike. x
Keep making videos Tony, if it helps you, we’re hear to listen …sending my heartfelt best wishes 💐
Oh Toni I have never wanted to squeeze someone so much in my life. So brave! You got this lad xx
So brave of you to share this with your RUclips friends, especially after the recent loss of the magnificent Steve. We’re all with you all the way and sending love and prayers for a speedy recovery. Take your time with your recuperation and looking forward to seeing back on the plot when you’re well. Take care x
Hugs and best wishes to you Tony. Dan.
Wow,, that's been a tough story to tell,, how have you managed to be so uplifting in your videos going through all that?? You are something special to be able to do everything you are doing with the news always at the back of your mind,,, wishing you all the best for your upcoming events,, you are in my thoughts and prayers
Them onions are strong 😢😢😢sending healing hugs and well wishing xxxx😊
Hi Tony, wow wasn't expecting that, what a hard video that must have been, not a dry eye in the house! Thoughts are with you during this difficult period, you are a tough cookie so you will be messing about on the allotment again in no time, I am sure. We are all thinking of you and your family, stay strong big fella, we will be here when you return! All the best, Rich.
So glad you're so open ,we need people like you. Xxx
Oh, oh dear Tony. Wishing all the best for your health. Am shocked and praying for you. Take care.

Cup your ear now Tony. D’ya hear it? That’s every single one of us cheering you on. Listen to that roar!
Now go out to play on y’bike. x

Well done Tony for talking about this it will help countless people, your support network is fantastic.... all will be well in the garden
Take care of yourself, I and I’m sure others will be thinking of you and sending you love ❤ see you soon when your ready we will be here for you ❤
Wow Tony that had me in tears.......but good news in the end......take care mate..
Bless you Tony. Thanks for sharing this. Wishing you well man! Xx
You don’t have to be brave, you just have to get through it, any way that you can, best wishes
Stay strong Tony. We have just gone through 2 years with our daughter fighting breast cancer, it can be beat. 🇨🇦🙏🏻❤
Prayers sent your way Buddy! All will be well. 🙏❤️💯
My wife and I are wishing you all the best my friend.
Incredibly brave to share this emotional and personal journey. I am so relieved that you have a positive way forward. Live the adventure that is your wonderful life, Tony! Make it count and enjoy it 😊. All the very best 👍
Keep us updated big man.. we’re with you .. the videos are you not the garden so much.. speedy recovery and onwards :) just a new start
What keeps me going is my family.
god be with you brother,,,,,,Edin J
Well done mate xxx Mandy
We had a similar trauma last year when my husband was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, but sadly it had spread. He is a mountaineer, so after all his treatment this diagnosis was not going to stop him doing what he loves, & I’m sure when you have recovered from your operation it will be gardening & the allotment that will keep you going. Sending all my love & best wishes to you & your wonderful family. 🥰
Amazing bravery to share this with everyone tony, i hope you make a full and speedy recovery mate.

I am sending you all my good vibes .Mell , family ,true friends and our wonderful NHS will see you through this .
I am so sorry, Tony. We will wait right here for you to return. We love you! Hugs
Hi Tony well done for being so brave. Your many potty mouth and RUclips friends are thinking of you and your family xxx
Tough watch that Tony - you’ll get through it and be out harvesting those chillies in October! Stay strong and I hope all goes well 😊
I live in Ireland and I grow veg too. If I was anywhere near you I’d help you keep your allotment going. I wish you well Tony. You’ll beat this and get back to doing what you love
