Stauffenberg had massive balls. The nerves of this guy to be in Hitlers presence on several occasions while planning this plot is unreal. I get nervous just thinking about it lol.

Yes considering that AH had all the power of *all* Germany 🇩🇪. If he had been asking for a cup 🥤 of coffee to be flown in to Berlin from Bayern or München They had to do it.
The other side of the coin is that AH - in practicality - was basically The Administrator, The Prosecutor and Judge of the whole Country. 🇩🇪 😬.
Not much you could do about it all. And in those days it didn't exist any human rights or at least not working ⚒ for the time being.

Had the operation of Valkyrie been successful, Germany wouldn’t have lost so much as she did at the end of the war.

Believe he was interrupted while 'changing'/prepping his ordinance, and Lt Hefton (sp?) Quickly stashed the other bomb in his briefcase which he later disposed of otw to the airfield

Stauffenberg was hung with piano wire not by firing squad. ✌️☘️

      No....he wasnt.
The primary perpetrators were tried, convicted, and sentenced in a court marshal hastily convened by Fromm.
They were then led outside and their sentences were carried out by a firing squad they pulled together on the spot.
Beck was the only one not sentenced to die on the spot, but requested and was granted a pistol to commit suicide.
