Grew up in the UK and love this trip around M&S. Thanks for sharing. The city I live in looks like they forgot it was Christmas again. Virginia Beach, VA has zero festivities and pretty miserable at Christmas. Sad really.
Just think, when the marketing team was working on the ad they were just thinking of christmas, nothing else. I do not understand what world we are in today where everything has to be viewed incorrectly. M&s would not do anything intentionally to upset anyone, its just how people interpret things today. Can things not be just black and white with no ulterior motives. Everyone to their own opinion, but please think about the bigger picture. M&s marketing team would not do an ad which would upset, its just a small minority that has issues and due to the world we live in today they took the ad down to please the small minority, even though the bigger minority would not have issue with the ad, with just a few complaints and companies are petrified these days. Not really a world like this we want to live in. Bring back normality. In 70/80 &90's it was fun, tv was fun, today its a sad world!
