Normally I would agree with the person who said that you shouldn't judge too quick, but given the seriousness and quantity of the accusations, you have to say that there must be something to it. Of course, it's always possible that things are being embellished, but even if that's the case, it's still serious enough. SA is SA. It should ALWAYS be taken seriously.

Wow ! Suga’s scooter incident comes to mind. They condemned him to the fullest for driving a friggin scooter after drinking with friends. It’s laughable. I wonder if the reporters will humiliate Taeil when he enters the police station also. So this guy gang rapes, and everything was kept hush hush. I’m appalled in how the Korean public deals with all this crap. I feel very sorry for the victim. Nobody deserves that. I hope this guy pays for his crime.

He already is being condemned and rightfully so. It's a disgusting, and horrible thing he did. We however need to stop creating even more drama and saying things like, 'Suga got this and this other person didn't." This Taeil news is more recent and new things are coming to light. He'll face the consequences for his actions.
I think people might also tall more about the Suga situation as he is more famous and well known. I even know a lot about BTS and the members and I'm not even a fan (I do however enjoy their variety show appearances alot😊) all that said, I can also understand where fans are coming from when some artists are crucified for something while others aren't. Last think I can say is, I have my faves in Kpop, they are even from and SM and RBW, but I will always stand behind the real victim. If it came to light that my faves were involved in something illegal, I will in no way defend them.

People, kfans or Armys didn't defend Yoongi. They acknowledged his mistake ''crime'' of not knowing the law in his particular case. They didn't understand the Knetizens ferocity regarding the incident, with no victims, with no real danger on the sidewalk. I mean ok it's his fault, so punish him by the law. But the righteous Koreans asked to be punished with 5 years in prison, when the minimum that a rapist can face is 7 years in the same prison? How come their brain cells are working that way? They must be in real pain living with that mind set.
In August, in two weeks Kmedia produced more than 1400 articles for a ''DUI'' case, that was actually a RUI case, because he was riding an foldable electric keyboard. Is that more dangerous that a gang rape in Korea? How many articles do you know about Taeil's case in the last months?
BTS is more famous than NCT? We are supposed to blame someone who broke the law, acknowledging how famous he is or how serious his deed is?
Fans or not for both idols, let's don't mistake their crimes. One is a drunk erider, and the other is a gang rapist. If what Yoongi did was wrong, what Taeil did it is far more wrong, dangerous, and serious regarding a woman potential NCT/SM fan.

Was it a good thing to do? Of course not. Was it a crime compared to Taeil’s ? Hell no ! Yoongi didn’t deserve to be humiliated by those reporters like he was when he showed up at the police station . Seriously... I could never imagine that Taeil could do something this shocking and disgusting. Even when I heard that he was removed from the group, I thought that there are a lot of cases like that in the kpop industry where idols were removed and the accusations were proved wrong thereafter, but hearing that he is cooperating with the police simply means that he has now no way to hide what he has done. I was like.. about to start stanning him terribly when I started taking full interest in NCT 127, and there was the song "Walk" I like the most up till now. I liked him as an idol so so much although he was not that famous and so I kinda empathised with him and started stanning him and NCT 127. But, when I came across the dance practise video and recording of "Walk", I saw him nowhere. So I searched "did taeil get into an accident or did he go on hiatus right after the mv of walk released ?", and... I came across the big huge gigantic case going on. I couldn't believe and thought maybe they are just haters and stuff, but then I saw people tearing and burning card and pictures... Wow Taeil I cannot believe what you have done. I seriously want you to continue but you have done something unforgivable. Think about the life of the victim ! Where's your sanity gone bro I don't want to hate you but I have to hate you. You never needed to do something like that. Your pleasure was with the team, not the physical pleasure you wanted or whatever. My thinking ends there, where I start to think why in the world would someone like to ruin their whole career and make someone's life a living hell... I mean this guy was hiding some demons for real when you think about it. He really should of went into acting to keep up this charade for this long. Out of all the members of NCT, Taeil would be the last member I'd think would do something so horrible. All that talent gone to waste along with his life, reputation, and career. I hope he gets some serious time in prison because a slap on the wrist would be a slap in the face for the victim if he doesn't.

I am wondering what the effect of having the sasaengs stalking you and the fans not letting you date, the patriarchal views of women and the lack of freedom to to socialize easily and normally with the opposite sex does to these young people. None of that excuses any horrible behavior on Taeil's but I am curious as to how it might have exaggerated or compounded the behavior.

By checking out their live stages in Fact check era, I noticed NCT 127 has very good vocals even without him. other members(Doyoung, Jaehyun, Haechan, Jungwoo and Yuta) can sing very well but SM always gave iconic vocal parts to Taeil. So other members, especially Doyoung, didn’t had much chance to show their ability in 127 songs. Their vocals were always used as a build up for Taeil’s highlight.
I mean, Doyoung isn’t very far from Taeil’s skills and range. I always thought Doyoung and other members deserve more appreciation for their vocals, too.

The reactions of young fans blows my mind. Maybe if the companies would allow their artists to lead normal lives outside of their already crazy work schedules, and fans would get a freaking grip that these idols don't belong to them, things like this would be less likely to happen. If you don't let people have normal life experiences, including relationships and sex, they can become twisted, depressed, suicidal, and make really bad choices. Do you all think it is just coincidental that there is a high percentage of depression and suicide in the idol world? Yes, crime is wrong, but just as when someone is starving, there is some compassion for them stealing food...doing drugs, smoking, gambling, and yes, even criminal sexual behavior does not usually come out of nowhere. The companies need to be held accountable too. And the crazy/obsessive fans.
