I don’t get why these black comedians who you would think understand the business of entertainment keep saying this “one black comedian at a time” thing. When in all reality it has nothing to do with the fact that they’re black aside from what hollywood believes of the black audience that will or won’t support the film. It’s abt the cash grab. Kevin Hart is the cash draw for black audiences moreso than any of the other black comedians so it’s really the fault of the black audience why not more than one black comedian is thrust to the top and gets all the movie roles. We don’t spend our money on entertainment at the rate whites do. Don’t believe me? Go to any rapper’s show and see a sea of white kids in the audience. We showed up for Black Panther but that took a rally/war cry damn near to pull that off. I hate to say this but I’m just keeping it 💯 but we as a ppl are so conditioned with victim syndrome that we have a hard time being honest with ourselves and use race as the scapegoat far too many times in situations.
