Have a question, does the toe box have a hard plastic inner coverege? I had the prime model where it comes with hard plastic inner toe box. Where it actually hurts, even if u have the right size. Cheers ✌🏽

This is one of the best reviews I have ever seen :) I would love to buy these but I'm not sure if they will be warm enough in winter. Do you think they will be good? Or maybe buying a warm insole would solve it?
Thanks, appreciate it! :) Yes these will do pretty well but it all depends on what kind of winter you have... cold, really cold or super cold lol. I would buy these shoes and try them out and if you need additional warmth later on, then I would buy an additional item to the shoes.

Have your other Converse Chuck Taylor 2's held up? I read some reviews saying the outer soles separate from the midsoles.

Hi! Have you tried wearing it in slippery conditions? I heard that the shoes can be very slippery on wet surfaces
Hey! I've not worn it at super slippery conditions, only for a light rain and it worked out well. I've also heard that it could become slippery when it's very wet outside but i've never experienced it.
Hi Mr. Stoltz, good video, very helpful. You indicate these shoes run big, so go down half a size for a snug fit that makes sense but you say go 1 full size down for a roomie fit that does make sense, wouldn’t go down 1 full size make for a very tight fit, not a roomie fit? Please clarify, thanks!!
Full size down for a snug fit and 1/2 size down for a more roomy fit. :)

Hey, what are the diffrences between the two different counter-climate converse? And which one is better?
Hey Max! The main difference is the inner sock (neoprene) material that will add a second layer of protection against rain and snow! The outsole is also a bit more rugged. I wouldn't say better, I would say different for various occasions. If your out in snow and heavy rain I would go with the newer version and if it's simply raining I would go with the previous release.
Mr Stoltz I was planning to buy the white one but I have one concern. does it staines? for example someone steps on it or if it does when you clean it should I be careful about brushing it?

I usually wear a Size 13 for my Nikes. I went with a Size 13 on these shoes since they don't have a 12.5. It fits fine but there is a weird suction noise coming from the front of the shoe. Not sure if it needs to be broken in or if I need to go for a size 12. Recommendations?
Hey Yusuf! I've never experience that kind of noise on a pair of Chucks. The shoe sounds like it's too big for you, I always go down 1/2 size but if the size is not available then it's hard to buy it. It might get a bit too tight with a size 12, it will probably work but could become a bit too tight at your toes. How much wiggle room do you have for your toes? If it''s too much then it's probably the space at the front that makes the sound. I would try a size 12.5 if it's possible to find it anywhere, or go with a size 12 (if it's not too tight), or lastly... wear your shoes a lot until the squeaking goes away. It's kinda hard to know exactly how to fix this issues since i've never experienced it. ;)

I wouldn't say that one material is better than the other, I would instead say that the materials determine your usage of the shoes (rain, dust, snow etc.) The materials also change the style of the shoe and what kind of stylistic preference you have.
and what if we talk about the material's durability for daily use?
How's the Flexibility? I mean is it too stiff to walk in?
+Alex Xander It's a bit stiffer like all other boot-type-of-shoes but it's still very comfortable.

I have to ask.. I haven't really bought any winter boots or shoes for the cold ever in my life. If i would be wearing wool socks (I am a 6.5), what size do you recommend I get?
If your TTS is 6.5, all depends on how thick the wool socks are. I always go down 1/2 size from my TTS. Ex. I am a size 11 and use a 10.5 in Converse. I feel that if the socks are regular wool socks a 1/2 size down would work great but you could also need a TTS if the socks are really thick.

Is is possible to take the neoprene layer out of the shoe? It looked like it did and wanted to know, since I wouldn't want to wear the neoprene layer on a hot day.
It's not removable. It was buildt for rainy and colder days.

+nguyen tran huu dang No go down 1/2 size from your TTS. I've never heard that it looses its waterproof layer after washing it, I've not heard anyone saying that. I would say that it's not true.
