While this song talks about body shaming and self harm I think you can hear the expectations and pressure on KALEO in this song and in Break My Baby. "They’ll take you in and spit you out you’re only worth how much you sell" "Just give the people what they need" "Does it start to show now the pressures on? Will they call my name when it all goes up in flames?" And then, like you said, this song also talks about pressure and "burning out"

It shows how wretched our society where everyone wants to validate themselves in a group of strangers and actually ignores those who are really important in their life. It's all about "look at me, look at my perfect life, I have a perfect body, perfect spouse, perfect places I have visited". We live in a sick society with sick individuals. That's why I deleted Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and live my life privately where I could truly become a better person. I only use RUclips right now and that's the only thing left for me.

Randomly discoverer Kaleo for the first time in my life last night. This morning its jamming in my car on my way to work and at work. Now just as end of day is hitting me, Kaleo drops a new album with more new songs!. WFT/ Wow. Im dead inlove.
As someone who once resided in the social media realm of car culture, this song hits deep. In that world, you may not need to look pretty, but your car does or else your not really part of the community. In short, if you don't do what they do, they chew you up and spit you out. And all that's left is an empty, hollow shell of a man. Furthermore, some folks on there are just assholes, and, take it from me, they can push people to do some stupid prideful stuff. Personally, I walked away from it for now. And let me tell you, I'm doing a lot better. Words of wisdom folks, don't be consumed by what people on social media say about you. Focus on those who actually care about you.
