It gained success because it was provocative. They thought they can do well after Marionette success, but when Mask and Fool released, it did not receive success. And they switched with this, (and after this, other songs after this released like Sting, Crying and TAoS received well and good success). The general public did not know other Stellar songs, aside from Marionette and Vibrato, which are the "provocative" concepts. It's sad that they are known for it, when they are just trying to get attention by not doing that sexy concept. But again, the company forced them to do it as it was the only thing that became popular.

In interviews they talk about how they had a contract that forced them to do everything the directors told them even if they didn't want to. When they weren't getting very many views/ recognition on their songs the directors and stuff decided it would be better to do a more sexual theme even though the girls didn't want to. The girls decided not to renew their contract because of how terribly they treated them and what they made them wear/do. One girl in a video was told to spill milk. She did and they cut it to show basically her cleavage with the spilt milk on her to make it sexual. They didn't tell her they'd do that she found out by watching the video and hasn't drank milk since because it traumatized her. It was also one of their biggest videos because of how sexual it was. Which was probably even worse for her.

I looked up this song after hearing it for the first time and quickly caught on to the situation the girls endured. I feel sorry for them. Putting in years of hard work and the resulting paycheck coming out to less than a minimum wage employee. The management company are scum. I’m going to look up each member and see if I can find them and support them in projects where their former bosses get nothing.
It hard as an audience to know how's really being managed an artist, no just on kpop but in all industries. That's why should be more law regulating and limiting contracts, to give artists always the option to leave their companies and make fair demands.
