She turns over to Patrick Dempsey, and he turns into Freddy Krueger. We then realize that the whole movie was Freddy targeting Sidney. One final tribute to both franchises Wes Craven built. Sidney didn't know Richie much and she didn't know Amber and Sidney don't even know Bailey, Ethan and Quinn at all so why whoever Ghostface scare Sidney using their voices? Billy, Stu, Mickey, Mrs. Loomis, Roman, Charlie and Jill voices can be use to haunt Sidney cause they are apart of her story.
Hear me out what if Stu is still alive and runs a cult but ain’t revealed right away until the last shot of the movie and actually Wins (obviously escaping not Killing Sidney or his older daughter) while also in the movie he has the Ai voice tech box and uses Roman & Billy voices to F with Sidney and the opening of the movie is Maureen Prescott death scene. So you basically get the Stu-cult theory, The Ai aspect and a flashback all together.

Hearing that Emma Roberts is coming back as well. Heard someone talk about how they'll focus on the uptick of A.I usage and how the voice mode will be related to it. Makes sense how they can bring back those characters voices. Scream 1 & 5 mirrored. Scream 2 & 6 mirrored to a degree. I've been saying for a good while now that a new nightmare style scream would make sense and allow for nostalgia and fan service and a really fun reveal. And of course it would be a great tribute to Wes
Going to he an opening scene flashback, to the murder of Maureen Prescott. Be all 3 of them, and then the twist will be someone else, a 4th person, was there too
IMO, the only way to bring Stu back in Scream 7 is for him to be revealed as the mastermind behind the killers from 4 onward. I also believe Roman will be shown in a flashback with Billy and Stu from before the original film. This would also explain why Emma Roberts is returning too, Stu could be shown manipulating her into becoming Ghost Face in Scream 4. At the end of Scream 7, Stu should be revealed as alive where he does a big monologue explaining how he survived and all the backstory from the end of Scream 1 to now. That could set up Scream 8 as the final confrontation between Sidney and Stu. The Scream franchise should end there.
Best case scenario is the Stu cult and stu is the opening killer which we get revealed. Hence why they announced him coming back anyway. I can see Roman coming back as a flashback which Stu mentions to Sidney at some point in the film to reveal another big plot twist to the franchise.

Every Slasher horror that tries to make the Killer comeback somehow needs a very good explanation, a great one, and it's been 27+ years since S1 events. We don't need him back alive to tell a story about him. He could totally be just a dream about the events that happened in Maureen's Death, and that would be perfect.
The new killers can totally be the leaders of the cult. And Richie was a small pawn of the whole scheme to get the Cult active to attack Sidney.
I can't lie out of the scenarios u brought up i think it's honestly gonna be the AI thing. It makes the most sense and every scream movie had a theme in Hollywood er horror they brought into the movie so I think AI is gonna b this one scream 4 doin remakes 5 did elevated horror or whatever it's technically called lol 6 I don't remember what 6 did i think it was "franchises" but I think 7 will the AI thing it seems sooo Kevin Williamson 🤘💯🐬
Here's what I think should happen that no one is talking about Sydney is just a much of a killer as Ghostface at this point she's just wants revenge on anyone who reminds her of her past so what if stu is alive but not a killer anymore and she finds out he's alive and she's tracking him down thinking he's the new Ghostface
WHAT IF they do a meta thing where they make fun of all the Stu truthers in real life through the stab franchise??!
Why not have Sidney have the Billy Psychosis? Opening kill should be Billy, Stu, and Roman killing Mother Maureen🤷♂️

Idea #8: They're doing a remake of Stab 3 so Scott Foley is playing an actor playing Roman, Matthew Lillard is playing an actor playing Stu in the "flashbacks" and this Ghostface is a deranged Stab fan who hates remakes.

I think it might be half flashbacks half actual Stu is the killer possibly like flashbacks of him and Billy and Roman planning and then him and Billy killing Maureen and then Stu is the main ghostface. If they got that route, I wonder if we Liev Shriver’s gonna be back too

I think it has to be more than a than a cameo flashback at least on Matthew’s part to have such a big deal about it and have him announce on Instagram and have it be this big thing I could see that for Roman and Billy because they’re actually dead And it would still honor the history of Sid story but have still be the main killer so they wouldn’t of revealed the whole thing
I’d love a New Nightmare scenario, but the only issue I’d have is the loose ends of Terra and Sam’s story etc…

I'm hearing it's AI. They're bringing back the voice modulator from Scream 3 but with a much more advanced spin. Roman, Stu, and Billy's (possibly more) voices are replicated with AI technology to torment their victims. Imagine a scene where Gale gets a call and it's Dewey's voice. Chills.
AI voice and Deepfake AI video to be exact. It’s not gonna be a simple rehash because what was in 2000 was essentially AI. It’s gonna be video too so it’s more commentary and trauma. Imagine Scream 3&6 but in steroids about how the killers are involved. Stu, Billy, Roman are all “murdering” people because the real ghostface is using deepfake tech.

Makes sense why they announced Scott first because this way it throws us into the wrong direction with our theories. Because if they announce another “dead killer” then we’ll assume one thing and they do another.

Dude, what if Sydney is the one in a mental hospital? What is after her mom died she just had a mental breakdown and the events of all the scream movies were just scenarios that she played out in her head and fantasized about to cope with the random killing of her mom.
