I have been waiting until after the chance of frost to prune. Are we safe now? (Bendigo) Can you combine CGWS and the disease spray in one application?

Vasili, I have a lime tree in a pot. I thought it was reasonably well protected but it got hammered by a frost about a month ago (Macedon Ranges area) and it’s dropped ALL of its leaves. Will it come back?

I had the same sort of issues as you do, tho my lemon tree was in ground. I spoke to Vasili about the problem & was advised to prune up to 50% and a very good feed of superfood. I aerated around the plant spread superfood around the drip line raked it in, a bit of compost around & gave it a water with Eco Booch & Liquid Gold. 10 days later I am getting new growth.

I need help with my Native Fingerlime bush in a pot. The recent storms have caused leaf drop. Does this info apply to these too?

i think the ground needs to be covered all year round , without cover rain will compact soil , so mulch , preferably a living mulch , will protect the soil from rain & the damage harsh winds can cause . moisture is most important for microbes & microbes are important to feed & protect your plant , if you let the soil dry , which wind can do very easily , you loose microbes which convert organic matter into plant available nutrients & plant protection against pest &/or pathogen
