A Good Day of Ice Fishing/Bass, Pickerel, Perch/Catch N Cook

I gathered my gear and loaded my sled on this windy day in February. I had nearly non stop action most of the afternoon. I caught 3 species of fish, Bass, Pickerel and Perch but also lost just as many. After running from tackle to tackle I carved up a healthy appetite. I went into my tent, started the Coleman propane stove and cooked up the Perch as well as some homemade bread with peppers, onions and potatoes. I garnished it with avocado and cheese. Last but not least I squeezed a fresh lime on top with a few dashes of old bay hot sauce. It was delicious to say the least! As the sun was disappearing I walked away feeling satisfied as it was a good day of ice fishing.
