Lisa's "Money" literally killed me with the amount of charisma, sexiness and swag that came off the entire thing. I also still can't believe our girl literally lit a tissue on fire and threw it while being all calm and cool at the same time lol. The whole time before seeing the bts, I thought that part was some kind of digital effect they had added in but of course, I forget. It's YG. So no green screens or effects LOL.
Also, in the outro of "Money", the "dun dun dun" can actually be interpreted as "don" which means "money" in Korean. So she's basically saying "money" (x16) then "dropping on you, you!" 😎
Rosé "Gone" always hits me in the feels, even more so than OTG at times. Maybe it's because we all could relate to that kind of feeling at some point in our lives when it concerns matters of the heart 😔 ...I also wished they kept the house burning in the mv though. In the bts, you can see it burning but they didn't include it in the mv *sighs*

Lisa does usually sing in a lower register. She has a fantastic tone, which is often under-appreciated.
If you want a good performance that highlights the singing vocals of all of the girls (including Jisoo's soaring falsetto), I highly recommend "Don't Know What To Do". There is no M/V, but there is an excellent dance practice video.
Its such a good song, one of my favs. Dont know what to do let their talents shine through. Not as much to not overwhelm, but did a good job.

Gone such a emotional song, I just wanted to add that on one interview of her she mentioned like when you trying to write a letter to someone but you can't find the right words and now it's finally the exact thing you wanted to say like you finally spoken to that person, and she wrote this song 3 years ago.

"On the Ground" is about the Rollercoaster she went through because of Blackpink going from Training to Debut and then the international hype of Blackpink which came really fast and in this song i believe she reminds herself that it is important to not get your fame over your head.
"Gone" i believe is about her suddenly moving to South Korea and leaving her family behind to achieve her dream and the lonlines she experienced for beeing apart from her family and friends in Australia

She was involved in all aspects of her solo even down to the album cover design which she did herself and album/music video concepts she helped with. She has two videos on her own channel 'ROSÉ Official' that show more one called "interview film" and another "thank you for loving R" she actually took herself to an extreme level of exhaustion which you can see in the video 'thank you for loving R'. If you didn't know "R" is the title of her single album.

Rosé co-wrote, co-composed and co-produced both of her solo songs thats the reason we can feel that both of her songs are "so Her". She also designed her solo album from scratch. She's officially credited as one of the creative director of her first solo album.

Good thing you watched Jisoo’s Yuki No Hana after Rosé’s Gone. It’s a very soothing track after that brutally painful, ‘Girl, Who Hurt You Let Me Give That Person A Word’ Gone song.
Did you feel like you were in a rollercoaster of emotions from Jennie’s smooth-sailing raps to Rosé’s free-falling heartbreaking chorus to Jisoo’s delicately breath-taking vocals and to Lisa’s butt-shaking solo? Glad you’re still smiling and finding so much more about the girls at the end even after perusing their videos for awhile now.
Yeah Lisa can hit those high notes, she just don’t do it often. She aced their trainee’s monthly evaluations in all aspects. Jennie wrote that new rap, addressed so many things there and yeah included Blinks, she so smart.
Did you notice that ripped band-aid revealing a gunshot on glass in Gone? Yeah, the imagery of that MV fits with the sad story Rosé’s singing about. She wrote Gone 3 years ago and we want to hunt that person who left her like that.

Dude, JENNIE’s rap lyrics were SO intelligent. So many references, so many call backs to Blackpink moments and to her personal moments, super smart!! And she was fully involved in writing it, clearly.
Gone is a really deep song, a truly work of art the simplicity of hit ends up being the most amazing and touching thing it’s just crazy… she really did a masterclass job on these lyrics and on the arrangement of this song

What I like about Jennie's Solo is that the original is already iconic and then the remix came. The remix neither underwhelm nor overshadowed the original. The remix gave what the original lack (which is the long rap and beat changes) but yet again if you will listen to the original, you will still love the original. There is a balance between the two audios. Both also highlight Jennie's vocals, rap, dance, and visual.

Hmm... I think they all had a hard time and because Jennie is famous in the beginning of the group when the company didn’t think they could be that big so it’s hard to handle the situation. When they had the time to adjust now that everything is alright, so saying she was being mistreated by her company and fandom is somehow a one-sided story I think....

I've found a few people saying they don't like money for their lyrics, I found it interesting 'cause personally I love it.
From a personal perspective the song is a whole mockery towards the "importance" of money it self and how it's praised and deified, you can see it since the billboard saying "money is a terrible master but an excellent servant" to lisa funny singing about how she's dropping all of it since after all, money it's a vanal possesion. It obtains much more sense when you find out Lisa was actually scammed by her former manager by robbing her around a million dollars wasted on betting. Lisa herself said it wasn't the lost money what made her sad but the fact that she trusted the man with her whole soul (they were friends for years, since lisa's debut) yet he betrayed her. I think lisa is having fun about how she never really has wanted money as her main goal it just came by with the archivement of her real goal, being an idol and inspire people.
LISA has a lot of fun thinking "I have money and I prolly will never be lacking out of it, I can drop it like it's pouring but, the fun thing is having money wasn't even my main dream/goal at all, so I can drop it and I don't mind it 'cause I don't work for money, I don't live for it, it’s just comes by me doing what I love to do, rapping, singing, dancing and perform".
The main reference for me is how important is to not objectify money, after all it will come and go with time, focus on making a real archivement in your life, something that actually has a meaning to you, not only making money, after all if you do what you love in the best possible way it probably will bring you money at the end of the day.

Well since you mentioned the braids... On her online fansign call, a fan told Lisa that her wearing braids in MONEY had something to do with the cutural inappropriation thing. Lisa sincerely listened to the fan despite the staff wanted her to end the call. After that, Lisa apologized to the fan, told her to tell her friends, family, people that she's very very very sorry, she didn't mean to hurt their feelings or violate their culture, and promised that she'd be careful and double check everything in advance next time. Lisa's a good girl, she's humble and sweet. I love her so much

Lalisa is old school yg style ( 2 gen ) unpredictable end which means it doesn't end with high beat banger but it has certain twist which is so different from Blackpink . i think “Money” is a song intended more for the western market. Thats why its number 1 in the billboard rap digital sales. The lyrics for the track was written by Bekuh Boom and Vince, with music being composed by them alongside 24 and R. Tee. Although Bekuh Boom has been part in some of the BP songs, Teddy Park, the producer and writer of most of the Blackpink songs is not part of this.

Edit : I love all the girls and am hoping for Jisoo's solo will come out soon, and ofc snowdrop, but my point was, all the girls that have had solo debuts so far have had 2 songs each while Jennie only had one, there were a lot of issues concerning the fans support for her during the time she debuted and I'm not saying she needs to have hers before Jisoo, I'm just saying we need one from her soon.
