He’s clearly improved in for example symmetry and placement of different details to make the drawing more appealing. Plus coloring and shadow/lighting upgrades. If you look at them next to each other it’s harder to see the drastic difference but separate it’s like a college student vs a pro.
I can see that there was an evolution, but I prefer the first one, I do not know why.
In the 1st one I liked the proportions better than the 2nd one because it is more realistic / aesthetic. 2nd one is not really my type, ridiculously ripped af like hulk (I know it is a style, I am not hating I am just saying it's not my type and thus to me, less aesthetic). For the 2nd one I like the coloring better

Growing and Evolving is pretty much the same thing. In my opinion, growth is better since it means you haven't changed like what evolving implies, but instead you add on to your skill and make it better.

The improvement is clearly visible. As a One Piece fan I will still say that Marcos flames have golden bits in them, nor orange ones. They are purely golden/bright yellow with no shading to them. Just gold. Other than that I would say this is spot on.

Some people are saying you didn't improve very much, but as a fellow artist, i can see that you've improved quite a bit for just two years. You're new drawing has better perspective, likeness, composition and a more interesting angle and pose. Overall the new version looks a lot less flat, Very good!

I know that you drawing didn’t improve much as I expected over the two years but here is what did improve, your progression in coloring and shading has increased a lot and what I liked the most I’m my opinion was how you improved the most in texturing and the smooth look of the drawing I think all these unique feature you have as a artist can improve you career in the future by a lot, and I know I know I’m just a 12 years old kid what can a 12 years old kid even do, well a 12 years old can do a lot :I well anyways from my past I can tell you one thing improvement isn’t something that happens the next day it is something that happen from practicing and your hard work and the amount of effort you put into your dreams. I think the new drawing is more feeling and more emotion, and the character 2019 is more alive than 2017, but I like the color of fire in 2017 better. I think the color of 2019 is too strong for both fire and character, you should pick which one is better to be outstanding, in 2017 too color of fire is good but color of character should be strong.
