Your prediction of 20-17 is right in line with what I was thinking. I was thinking 21-17 or 24-20 kind of game. Carolina starts the season 3-0.

Sellers will be better this week. The cobwebs and nerves are dissipating from Sellers. Hope there will be good play-calling in the run game, where the formation could be changed from run to pass and vice-versa. Our defense should be careful of the big pass play! John Emery Jr. is not LSUs starting Running Back.. Yes he was effective in the USC game but he was always RB3 entering the season. Idk why people keep saying this. Josh Wiliiams and Kaleb Jackson were always the starters at RB for LSU.
Correction: South Carolina gave up a net 139 yards rushing and not 260 yards to UK.
You never mentioned the weather Saturday. Rain. I think it'll come down to who can run the ball and I believe that'll be South Carolina.

It’s harder to block a receiver as a corner in the rain than it is to stop a running back in the rain. Loggains said last year that was always his strategy in the rain.
I think Carolina can play smash mouth football better than LSU and Sellers is looking more confident. I think Carolina takes it.

139 yards rushing on 46 carries. Sorry not even close to rushing for 260 yards. Even before sack yardage rushing is still 158 yards on 37 carries.

Weak LSU defense - Not flashy, but solid USC offense. Descent LSU offense (no run game) - edge rushing from hell, no blitz needed USC defense! = LSU in a fist fight with 80K screaming fans ;-)
We Gamecocks punching Everyone in the face. Tyson said everybody got a plan until they get punched in the mouth. LaNorris can hit a couple widebacks mainly the freshman kid. Yeah a freshman meaning Shane does recruit well. And run the Rocket and let that improved OLine show you that we can run against anyone in the nation. Our Qb is a Halfback when running but he needs to protect the ball a little better. That way when he shows people like you said he can make any throw He can. I'm glad everyone is so high on Dylan Stewart, but it's also disrespectful to call him the best pass rusher in College Football, when he's not even the best on his own team yet. Kyle Kennard has more sacks, and more TFL's than Stewart does. And yet, you barely spoke about Kennard. Why? They are a great tandem, and that should be the story, not just how great Stewart is. And those guys in the middle of USC's DL are pretty freaking good also, not to mention the LB corps. It isn't all about one player. The secondary for USC has THREE players who were Freshman All Americans. So it isn't just the front six or seven. It's a very talented defense. And one thing I didn't hear either of you mention is how Nuss reacts to finally getting sacked, when he almost never gets sacked??? South Carolina forced Vandargriff to all but give up, he was so frustrated and tired of being hit over and over. Well, Nuss never gets hit, so if he's suddenly taking a beating, how does he react to that? I'm guessing not very well. So I disagree with the kid on the right side, about LSU being able to put up that many points on THIS defense. The Gamecocks will be the more physical team, and will win this game 34-19.
South Carolina's starting Defensive Line has two veteran DTs (T.J. Sanders and Tonka Hemingway) that have played together for several years and two new edge players (true freshman Dylan Stewart and fifth year transfer Kyle Kennard from Ga Tech). It is a great unit but let's see how they do against LSU's stout offensive line. South Carolina will lose Hemingway and Kennard at the end of this season so I hope Coach Beamer and company are recruiting well.

@@poloregal we love Boogie in Columbia as a very talented local kid that stayed home but the bigger football media haven’t spotted him yet. Deandre Jules and Goodwine are also very talented. The Gamecocks have incredible depth at DT this season. Maybe this weekend will get them more national attention.

Kentucky had 44 passing yards! Why is nobody talking about this? Kentucky is horrible. South Carolina almost lost to Old Dominion! LSU takes this any day and every day.
Ever thought that maybe, just maybe, Kentucky couldn't throw the ball because South Carolina was able to get into the back field with just 3 guys at times? That they shut down the passing game THAT effectively?
@@curlyqv2467 Kentucky had 169 passing yards against Southern Miss. LSU has had two 300+ yard passing games. South Carolina allowed Old Dominion to get 197 passing yards. If you rush three or four guys against LSU they will run it. LSU does not have a strong run game but against three or four guys it should be good enough. Obviously anything can happen but look at the stats. You are not shutting down LSU for four quarters with three or four guys.
