They got the spirit of the whole thing all right. Great to see such young people with so much talent
I think this is about the BEST non-Benny Goodman performance of this arrangement I have ever heard. These kids are well rehearsed and they are spirited and confident.
no doubt they really studied the recording very well, it's the only way to play these arrangements as they should be played, these cats are dynamite!
And they’re having a great time! Bring back the Big Bands!

Wow... Like, Impressive. Sing Sin Sing by Benny Goodman is one of my favourite tracks of all time, and I must agree this was very very good. Drum solo was something Gene Krupa would have been very proud of.

I would love to see the whole concert because in this day and age there would be a lot of rock tunes to keep the party going. And then they bring in SING SING SING, and the clueless would say, "What a cool rock number!"--while the well-informed would just get out there and dance!

Is the Toronto All Star Big Band a yearly event? Looking forward to more great music by young people. They look like they won't stop soon. They seem to be having tons of fun entertaining us. I want more.

great performance musically spoiled by the unnecessary theatricals, [also sober dress would have added to the atmosphere,] a minor gripe, but, from one who was alive when the original concert was performed, I love originality.
the band is totally great, but the but the video is not good, showing only one part of the band, and not weeping all of the band, need a better photograper
