Having both an older Axion 384 unit and the current XG 640res unit, I can say the 640 was obviously a different experience within the first 5 seconds of turning it on. I know it isn't Thermion/Helion grade, but it is impressive to see bark patterns on trees at 150yds with a thermal this small and light. Slip it on a lanyard around your neck and tuck it in your shirt or jacket and it disappears.

I'm listening on a Dell laptop using windows 11 edge browser, I've just checked using a sound meter on my phone, this episode peaks out at just below 30db, clicking onto 'TGS outdoors' latest video and that raises to 47db on same settings
