If my dear grandfather were still alive, I know what he'd say after watching this: "With crime rising in the UK, put that guy into our police force. He'd give 'em a good hiding."
I have see the system and ask if you can do the other styles as: Tang dui,Gun lee, tang dun,cha cheun, chau sau lin tandun second,fu hok 1e and 2e,ba chi.
From what I've read, martial scholars think hung gar is the closest representation to what was taught at Shaolin traditionally. This is in contrast to the modern performance forms. The hung gar in this form is undeniable!
i have yet to see any of these styles work in real world applications.. im sure at one point it was an honorable to meet fighters and duel with these techniques, but (and mind you i have no love for MMA), MMA fighting style seems to dominate on EVERY video vs. Kung Fu/Karate i have seen. Which has always made me ask, why has no one fought like this (MMA = balls out and swinging) or came up with the same "style" (im sorry but MMA doesnt take style, just low IQ and bad tattoos) 2000-4000 years ago. I have looked through the internet but have yet to find an answer from some one who actually holds a "rank(?)" in a martial arts. :)
Well your not understanding the style being presented it is working while you are watching it. It's kung fu not fighting. If you kinda squint your vision and look at a picture of a tigers head the form is the tigers head in frount of the body. This guy is very good as there is multiple moving pictures of a tigers head being done in his hand work. Just saying in kung-fu fighting applications are learned by first rank the rest of it is art not really about fighting.
Kung Fu was designed to "play for keeps", not as a sport in a ring. But over time, although the moves have application, many applications (gouging eyes, grabbing a crotch, punching a throat) meant to kill or end it in a few quick moves - they are made illegal in sports. Take away a technique's purpose and then tell the fighter to win with that technique is nonsensical. But that's what we do. My 2 cents: dont judge. There's missing perspective is all.
The sound effects gave it justice.
Gotta love the sound effects and the sped up footage lol. Feel like I’m watching an old Run Run Shaw flick…
sound effects ruin the demonstration for me.
I think they’re fun :)
just think of the guy making the sound effects!
A lot of power in those techniques!
Beautiful and powerful techniques!
👏👏👏👊
hate the sound effects
My gosh, I love Kung Fu. hehehehe, It's been a while I don't train. These clothes are absolutely amazing XD
I make those sounds & people leave me alone … no Kungfu necessary 😆😂
Awesome form but it's a shame that it is sped up with the silly sound effects.Otherwise beautifully done.
That is Hung Gar

Is this hun gar?
There are no sound effects on this video
That's hung gar.
When I do it, it doesn’t sound like this.
You’re not Asian or hardcore enough
This is pretty good when you watch it muted, in terms of accuracy and power.
拳法威猛又細膩
Increíble y Hermosa Ejecución Técnica. Enhorabuena, Maestro !!! 💪💪💪💪
What’s the name of this soundtrack?

Any of you guys know what form the guy from the video "The power of Hung Gar Kung Fu" is doing?
Taming the Tiger from Hung Kuen. Not sure what this has to do with Black Tiger.
Yep; this is Goun Gee Kuen Hung Gar form.
Black Tiger is a Northern Style; with high spinning kicks and body slapping.
I appreciated it much more once I turned the volume off.

@@grantsolomon7660 I suspect they were both "Boat Arts", with most of their enemies ending up in the water like drowned rats.

So.... What is your question?
I think it is not the same if you fight bare hands than fighting
These are forms they have real applications the move being performed but they are mostly for excerise
