Nice purchase mate! You can modify the settings in the editor as well, turn the motion sensitivity at 5% and spin at 60% Trust me, it's a nice setting. Also the blade flicker and all that stuff. ONLY THING : Don't click burn to chip after changing the *settings*. Do that only when changing fonts.
I've heard similar experiences. They are definitely high demand, which is insane and makes their turnaround times absolutely crazy. I'd love to get this one and the Prodigal Son but it's just so expensive for how long it takes and what you get but the sad part is, nobody else can possibly compete with the quality of Saberforge. Ultrasabers is a close second, but they rarely do "canon" star wars sabers.
Well, SP Sabers and Roman Props make some quality canon Star Wars sabers, but you need to install the electronics yourself as they only sell empty hilts.
See if you can get one that's already made from another collector. The wait times at Saberforge is insane! I picked Medium Blue as it's the most screen accurate color.
I'm sorry you paid so much for a saber that had a fault, I had heard some similar stories about saberforge before so I recently ordered myself a custom neo saber from sabertrio I would highly recommend
Yes I've long sold this (Put it far behind me) and have purchased 5 NeoPixel sabers from Vader's Vault, Korbanth and Ultimate Works. I will never look back!
There's really not much you can do or add to make it last longer. I guess the obvious things like store in a dry temperature controlled place, make sure the battery is charged to at least 80% and don't let it drain below 20%. Keep it clean and free of oils so it doesn't tarnish or fade the finish. Little things to help prolong this very expensive item. Hope that helps!
Bladewise, yes. Hiltwise, the thin necks, no matter what manufacturer, will not be as strong as a thicker one and will be more prone to breaking. How much more? Hard to say. Saberforge has a year warranty minimum and you can pay extra to extend it. Overall though, this design will likely be just as durable as any comparable company's thin neck design. Ergonomically, the large box gets in the way and is uncomfortable for the hands.
Appreciate the kind words! They told me for 1 month it was in their Quality Control Dept. getting a full once over.... How did they miss the heatsink? Makes me think they just say that so they can take longer to deliver your item. SMH. I've discovered many other saber companies since. They make Saberforge look like Force FX sabers and blow them out of the water.
@@SquadCollector i feel that bro, I feel like saberforge has some crazy realistic lightsabers but they dont handle there social media well at all. Like ive hit them up on every platform they have and the farthest ive ever gotten in a conversation is them telling me that I indeed bought a saber from them 😂🤦🏼 S M H.
@@MasterChiefSpartan117 My go to right now is The Pach Store. Not too crazy expensive but very close screen representation. Or even better prices (Not accuracy for the thin neck sabers) Disney Legacy sabers are great!

I going to do that tonight! Thanks for the tip!
Who else is watching this because they cant afford it?
Great Video and info is that blade champion better than VEteran and the other one they have? thanks
Champion would be their best as it uses a neo pixel blade. Those were not available when I ordered.

May the force be with you :) Fingers crossed!
Hey I’m thinking of buying one of these in with you is there anyway to change the color?
Very helpful review as I am looking to buy this exact model. Just out of curiosity, what colour of blue did you choose?

RSquad911 how long did you wait and when did you order?
@@kingsqueezie8610 6 long months! :(
Sexiest lightsaber design of all time.

I got my redeemer mk3 last year in champion tier. Still can't figure out the lockup.
I got my custom one yesterday, I chose Eris, it took 11 weeks but it was worth the wait.
11 Weeks is a lot better then what I had to wait lol! Congrats on the new saber!
@@SquadCollector Thank you!
What do you recommend to add to your light saber that can make it last longing?

Just a question but can you put in a different color crystal and take the other crystal out?
The crystal is actually clear. It's a real quartz crystal. The Led is what determines the color it will be when lit.
Is it good for hard dueling

Do all tiers of the model contain the crystal?
If you get the redeemer crystal version, yes
8 months is worth it ive been waitin for the same saber for 3 months but bro they really did you dirty with that heat sink and the shipping
