It's my day 4 with Tana and I can't get away from the idea that it's complexity for the sake of the same. Evoking the spirit of Schrodinger to explain a notes app? Complexity for the sake of the same.

Fair enough! Two things: One, this video is a bit out of date now. References are cleaner, and the Schrödinger's reference (my own term, not theirs) is no longer a thing.
Two, and most critically, it's not so much that Tana is complex. It's that it's extraordinarily flexible. There are many different ways to achieve the same effect, which is useful if you want fully customized ways to work with information. But, especially starting out, it can feel overwhelming.

Thanks for this video! It was really helpful in refreshing my understanding of the basics and clarifying the Tana node part. Keep up the good work!

I guess that INLINE REFERENCE = BACKLINK (in Obsidian and Logseq) and NODE REFERENCE = BLOCK EMBED (only in Logseq, I think). This somewhat new Tana terminology is a bit confusing to me, but the application is very challenging. You are a wonderful teacher!

New node on new page... I typed node text with 2 child nodes. Clicked on parent node copy and paste to new line to create reference and get error: "One or more nodes were already present in the list and were skipped" Is this a bug?

How do I delete the reference please?. I've searched other sources, but the Ctrl + Shift + Del that I'm seeing doesn't seem to work. This was really helpful, as I had some confusion before.

How do I create a Node reference?
