Great video! Honestly, I had searched up what the hardest achievement was, with a lot of responses and answers being the Insanity achievement, since the Boss Battle Boss achievement was no longer obtainable:)
You should try playing the extended multiplayer mod! What it does is adds a couple of new gamemodes in multiplayer like soil survivors, capture the taco and most importantly boss hunts, and it still gives you the achievement for it
I'm not gonna add mods to this account until I get every character. Then I might mess around a little. Boss hunts are definitely one of the things I miss so ill probably try that mod out when I get around to it.
@@SwedishDwarf From experience i can tell you that boss hunts are definetly good fun, but all of them except for the brothers gnomus are impossible in singleplayer
I platinumed the entire game on ps4, I am still missing the squash achievements sadly since they're part of the trials of gnomus dlc, I mean, I still got the platinum, just never had a chance to get all the achievements
The way you choose difficulty on a boss hunt is to place a different rarity bait. For CRAAAAZY you need the scrumptious bait, but you can't get it in story mode.
By the way the Quests are Singleplayer only. I learnt this the hard way because when I picked up the game on my PS4 I didn’t have online (Still don’t) and couldn’t do the campaign multiplayer so I thought I just wasted 20 bucks. (I did end up getting over 100 hours on it despite that so that just shows how incredibly good this game is.)
I know you can do that. I haven't really looked into it at all. I dont plan on getting mods any time soon. And was curious if this would still give me the achievement.

I heard they were considering doing an update on the game again if people keep playing because of the constant flow of players. So maybe the achievement could be possible again
i did it back in the day with 2 AI and with my older brother on splitscreen on the ps4.. damn now i am 16 and playing it on pc and "cheated" it for the 100% thingy on steam cuz i technically did it on console BUT you can sadly not cover the EA console progress to pc/steam so i 1% cheated it and 99% beat it :) it sad that I also had to "cheat" the other not doable achivements like the community ones or the other game modes but it is what it is.. :( STILL LOVE THE GAME BUY FCKING PVZ GW 2 AND PLAY IT!!

To be honest. I dont really aee that being the hardest achievement in the game considering the fact that to be crazy ops mode is to constantly kill the hero's because they are a pain in the ass. Weeds and zombies are jokes and bosses are annoying. But as long as you keep killing the most annoying spawns you can fly through crazy ops easily.
Me personally, I find it easier to have bots taking agro of zombies. So not ALL the attention is on me. Especially with the boss. If the zombie boss was on me the whole time, killing the barrel zombies would have been a lot harder. And for the actual achievement you HAD t do it with people. So me doing it on my own is kinda cheating it I feel.

I dont get why they would in the first place. Community challenges I 100% understand even tho I loved them. But boss hunts? They released 3 torch wood and hover goat skins then made it impossible to get all 3. Not the smartest decisions.
i beat CRAAAAZY!! ops by joining a game in wave 7 with 2 torchwood (im corn) then getting a super wave luckily it wasnt yeti we died i used all my revievs i revieved the team then a hot rod joined we killed the first gargantuar easy then the i took out the heroes while they ate the gargantuar and the miniboss at the end was stupid easy

I think u can unlock town hall with mods for the boss hunt
The hypno flower boss hunt is very fun with a team of 4 toxic brains. You melt the bosses health so fast lol

You can still do this achievement, you need to install mod Private Play Remastered, and play boss hunts when you want.

Ops on Craaazy is no longer difficult, most of my lobbies on PS have decently ranked players, all you need is a little chemistry

I remember the old Boss Hunts. I took down the Gnomus brothers, and that's it. Nobody else.

Theres a mod that all it does it add back the community modes back in Private Play
Just so people want to know how hard crazy ops is. Only 1.5% of PlayStation players has gotten the achievement (I am in the 1.5%)
I don't feel it's that hard. I've done it with only chompers twice, once with ai once with people. Maybe I'm just built different who knows 🤷

Play the Mission Captain smasher vampire, chomp I did it and it was very easy I used backbite and goop and it was very easy
