Well done, Bill. I have one of these, but it took a backseat to the ham rigs pretty quick. I never got its antenna outside, which likely would have helped it quite a bit. Are you planning to operate and review the 990?

You didn't even turn on the radio... If you are a ham I would have liked to see how the SSB reception was on ham bands.... or any reception for that matter... or even an analysis or conclusion of what you thought after USING the radio. Disappointed.
