Excellent lesson, Michael! There is an old axiom that those who can do it can’t teach it and those who can teach it can’t do it. You clearly defy that proposition. Excellent lesson, Michael.
I think it's great how you break it down, I have been trying it out for the last week in my back yard hitting balls, as much as you break it down, I'm just not getting right. I'm a big guy and have a large frame and body doesn't feel smooth through any of it. I have had a couple good hits here and there but I can't seem to get it down. And even the good hits aren't going that far, they feel fat or thin. I have watched all your videos and the science behind it makes sense, but I guess I'm one of those guys that needs a hands-on lesson, videos just don't cut it.
Fantastic Michael. I'm still confused though about the flat spot aspect. Is it that the flat spot is the opposite side of the elbow, when the arm is extended. ... Can you expand on this for me please? Explain how I establish the flat spot relative to the other parts? Thank you. Warmly. John
Michael I always knew there was something unique about your setup but I didn't understand it - Now I do. If I may, I would like to name your swing - You have created Bmotion. Yes sir, for me it is a photo finish between Lee Comeaux with Cmotion and Michael Broderick with Bmotion - Both Brilliant.
Michael, just out of curiosity what is your background, your ability to breakdown the golf swing to simple motions and also be able to anatomically and analytically break down to this level of detail is genius. I have learned and seen significant difference from a few of your videos over two range sessions versus all of the struggling and frustration from the 50 plus highly trafficked golf instructors on you tube and the web over the last 10 years. Thank you again and please keep doing what you are doing. Luis J
Luis Juarez I'm just a person who got tired of the nonsense that doesn't work Luis. I didn't understand why an athletic person which I was couldn't master the game with the instruction available. It simply didn't make sense. So I went through a personal process to not only understand the swing but how the body moves. I then started teaching people which was a big help to understand how they thought and felt.
A brilliant lesson Michael. Thanks. At about 44 seconds - The head stays well back - Is this in conflict with a video where you talked about the head looking to a 45 degree angle ahead of the ball. Thanks.
IRISH JIM Not at all Jim. As you hold the hands up with scapula loaded and tilt your rt shoulder down it will drop. Your knee rt knee will move underneath you your head and the head will automatically tilt forward to that Sorenstan position. The neck isn't twisting to look ahead. It stays in place. It's part of the motion. This 3d motion is based on a top pro who keeps his head back more. Without getting ASU to hook me up on their computer analysis it it was the best I could do to demonstrate most if the correct movements and principles.
Hi Michael, just a question on your grip. Is it a full 10 finger split grip or do you have the thumb of your left hand covered over / tucked in by your right hand. Thanks

I missed this one. So glad I tuned in today. Can't wait to get to range shortly after I work on it at home
Thank you, it feels like a relief to finally “figure out the invisible secrets” of the movements and forces to make the ball fly with ease.

This is a great explanation Michael, I am really enjoying your content

Michael, how does neutral alignment engage our abdominals and further protect our spine?
Grip 12:25; setup 13:35
Hi Michael, just a question on your grip.
Is it a full 10 finger split grip or do you have the thumb of your left hand covered over / tucked in by your right hand.
Thanks
When you load your scapula and hold til the last second are you still swinging outside your right foot and to the right
maeu59 Yes. Try it. You won't be able to hold it but the late release of the scapula leads to power.
Michael do you give lessons? If yes how do I get in touch with you?

Rewatch last 2 videos John.
Mike: Do you feel as though your armpits are above your ankles and your knees are pointed straight out or slightly outward?
Thanks.
Neil your description is apt knees pointed outward. Although I could hit it from anywhere! My normal stance is as you describe.
MBA....Michael Broderick Academy.....MBBSA...Michael Broderick Ball Striker Academy....
If it's MBA, then I guess it is MB motion
