24 hours in Rome is enough!!!! The hype isnt real!!!!!

We've visited Rome previously in 2011 pre children & back that we was dissapointed.
We found the city to be way too busy, unsafe & just plain dirty with the streets being covered with broken glass & litter scattered everywhere.
This time we visited with Children & it was literally way too busy to keep an eye on kids safely, also we saw 2 guys steal a ladies bag & wallet on a train & it just puts a bad taste on the trip.
Food options were better than we experienced our first time but overall we have the same opinion its just not for us. Sorry Rome!!!
Of all the cities we've visited this year Rome is bottom of the list!!!
