On The DPG Eulogy DVD Daz taped a few Minutes of talkin' to Kurupt about he was signing again to Suge n all o dat, but when Daz asked Kurupt why he got back with Tha Row Kurupt responded with "Fuck what the Fans thing, give me 3 fuckin' Million" - claiming Suge offered him 3 Million Dollars signing to Tha Row 🤷🏻♂️

All in the name of attempting to go viral, which increases engagement = more $$$ I'd say Reggie's a good 50/50 on these stories/recounting of events lol. He's been debunked, corrected, and called out many times by other people from that era, other platforms etc. For instance, this video. Kurupt was signed to a production company prior to Death Row, but Suge was so sloppy business wise, they didn't buy out the deal beforehand. Kurupt use to be in a group with another guy and a girl, I believe. Kurupt did music with the SOS Band, who had hits in the '80s, prior to Death Row. You weren't doing that kinda stuff back then as an unsigned artist. Death Row didn't lose that court case, because the jury had some secret vendetta. The production company guys had paperwork on Kurupt to back up their claim. Pretty common practice. Recent artists like Future, Meg Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert and Nicki Minaj were signed to these little hood production companies before the majors came and got 'em. Rocko got a big bag for Future, because he had him on paper legally, and Future breached the contract to sign to a major. Birdman gave Jas Prince Jr a bag too for Drake. All that Suge Knight bully sh## may work in the streets, but not in a court of law when legal paperwork's involved.

During the prime of death row before Pac got killed did you ever think about the future of Death Row and if so where did you picture death row in the future? Man I pictured Death Row as the biggest label in the world. I thought 2pac would’ve been bigger than Michael Jackson . I also thought Suge would have been a movie producer

Kurupt was never the same after going back to death row. On the DVD’s he was always drunk and high on cocaine and the music was terrible. Waited years for against the grain and was disappointed. He’s had pockets of good songs since but never was the same. Alcohol stole his gift

I think he limited himself by sticking to gangsta rap.. if he would of expanded his subject matter he could of went much further.
