I love the Kakuno, it is so cute and the extra fine crisp line is exactly what I need for my planner. I really thought I would only need one, but there is a new line out, madoromi, and I couldn't resist, I ordered the ivory in fine lol. Would love more detail on how you sparkled up your clear one, I love it!! I wouldn't say I "collect" the sailor pro gear slims as they are so expensive, but I also somehow ended up with two of them, and there are so many more that are attractive. In terms of writing they also produce a fine crisp line, but the kakuno is smoother and I am not afraid to take them with me so it ends up used way more. First time commenting. I love Kakuno fountain pens. They’re good reliable pens and great for starting out into the fountain pen world. They’re smilie faces on the nibs makes them whimsical and fun to write with. I have a nice collection of TWSBI in various models, but mostly ECO. They’re workhorse fountain pens that hold a lot of ink. Feels good in the hand. My next collection is Pilot Vanishing Point. I have 3 so far (F and 2 Medium nibs). Excellent writers and the 14kt nibs are smooth on paper with some flexibility. Thank you for sharing!!
Yes I’ve seen the new pretty colors, but I won’t be purchasing anymore TWSBIs after I purchase the Cafe Bronze and Creme. The Indigo Blue Bronze just might get thrown in there, too…lol
